It’s the swan song phase for this staple of Bostons fine dining. The bartender was on point. The food tells us why boston will not invest in the Michelin system.

We had the best waiter - John George - who made amazing suggestions. We had the prune ravioli, which we thought was weird but are SO happy we got. The sauce was too die for. We asked for extra bread to finish the rest of the sauce. My friend has the coppa. It was balanced and savory, rich but not over-powering. I had the scallops, which were so tasty, with small apples diced to help bring sweetness to the dish. We also had the dark chocolate soufflé. SO GOOD! Would highly recommend this amazing dining experience.

We are not from Massachusetts and are here on a conference!! I had read an article that Condé Nast had written and they had said that number 9 park was excellent. I usually trust them, but this was beyond our wildest expectations. I would have to say this is probably the best restaurant we have have visited in years. From the moment we arrived, our waiter, Matt was not only knowledgeable, but was happy to share information on each dish. He told us the history of the restaurant and told us the story of the chef. My husband has a well-developed palate but unfortunately, I do not. Rather than scoff at my childlike taste, Matt recommended a dish that was well suited for me. I was surprised that I ate the entire dish!! The bread is amazing! For the ladies out there who are watching their carbs, this is a must! I slathered butter and the salt that comes with it, and I am still thinking about it the next day!! The piece de resistance, however, the dessert !! We ordered the chocolate soufflé!! it was perfection!! I will say one last nice thing about the restaurant is that the team of people who served us did it with grace and they were effortless. When I complemented Matt on the service, I was impressed that he gave his team so much credit as well. Number nine park should be at the top of one’s list!!! Truly was amazing and we loved every minute!!! One last note, I usually do not care for Sauternes but Matt encouraged us to try one and it was amazing!! He gets an A+ plus plus!! You cannot go wrong, and ask for a table close to the window!

Our experience exceeded expectations! The chicken dish was the freshest I have ever had. The pistachio crème brûlée was out of this world! Not to mention the homemade bread.
