A delightful evening at No. 9 Park. Could not ask for more. The service was very welcoming . We had the Chef’s tasting menu with optional A5 Wagu and each dish was served with suitable interval in between and given time to savour. Recommended . If I have the chance to return to Boston, I would definitely go for this wonderful meal and restaurant again.

Hi, We've been coming to No.9 Park for several years, when we first moved to Boston and since we left and come back every year to visit. This is the first time it feels that the overall experience was not the premium food, dining, service experience we used to have. The food was ok, it was the same if not similar menu but something was off with it. Didn't feel as curated as it used to be. Presentation and plate sizes were off. In general, just a decline in vibe, presentation and experience. I would be hard pressed to recommend until there's some sort of attention to the detail they used to be known for.

I was really disappointed in the meal. The food was okay but very basic. The service was really a let down. It was a quiet Sunday early dinner and I still didn't receive a glass of wine I ordered to pair with my appetizer. I ordered a different wine for my entree in it's place, with no apologies from staff regarding my missing wine.

No. 9 Park is heaven on earth! Do the tasting. The experience is 5 stars! Our 38th anniversary dinner was wonderful. The staff was SO accommodating. This was the 3rd anniversary dinner we’ve dined at ‘9’ and it makes for wonderful memories! Thank you!!

We enjoyed a magical evening at No. 9 Park for our 34th anniversary. Started with craft cocktails at the bar, before moving to our table for the chef's tasting menu and some. The wine service and the food was superlative in every facet. You want to be taken on a culinary delight, go here.

Got the tasting menu. Amazing but no wagu beef? Everything was outstanding, but the busers were hovering waiting to take away the plates so we could move faster with our meal, I assume so they could go home for the day! Multiple times asked if we were done while we were still eating. Very uncomfortable. Spending 600 on a date night I can lick the plate if I like. Great place for an anniversary. Give it 5 out of 5 other than the busers pressure to quickly eat, and move on to the next, very expensive meals

Definitely isn’t worth the price. Duck entree didn’t taste fresh, and the only truly notable thing we tried with the prune stuffed Gnocchi. Food wasn’t worth the price. The service was excellent though. Friendly staff, timely service. Dated ambience

We visit No. 9 Park for our anniversary each year from out of state. It’s always a pleasure to enjoy the chefs tasting menu and wine pairing. Service and attentiveness is excellent and the dishes are sublime.

Seated immediately. Service top notch. Chose a la carte because we weren't starving. But tasting menu looks amazing. Minor ordering mishap that the house immediately took care of. Caviar service top notch. Prune stuffed gnocchi amazing. Venison so good.

The food was outstanding. The produce used was clearly fresh and expertly prepared. The recipes were creative and well thought-out. However, the service was rather hit-and-miss. Above all, we felt pressured into ordering and finishing our meal as soon as possible. For instance, we were urged to order our food only a couple of minutes after we were handed the menus, so we simply did not have enough time to read through it and decide. We were then invited to order the dessert while we were still finishing the main course (I was literally still chewing the last of my gnocchi). We were then hastily given our bill even though we had not asked for it yet, and while our glasses were still half full, so we felt pressured into quickly finishing our drinks and leaving. Overall, I loved the food at No. 9 Park, but the staff did not really made me feel particularly welcome.

Delicious food, however… We 4 made an advance reservation and arrived on time only to be led to the worst table in the place, which was just half-full. The host did respond swiftly when i suggested that there was no need for us to be seated next to the waiters station. We inquired about some champagne offerings and ordered a bottle, which arrived about 25 minutes later- apparently it needed to be located and chilled, but we weren’t told that until we asked after our champagne. Our first course was served swiftly, except for the person who was given the wrong thing, so we had to start without him. The same thing happened during our second course too, to a different person, which also threw off our dining dynamic. The wine we’d ordered during our first course was served near the completion of our second course, again only after we asked what was going on. By this point the manager stepped in to apologize and bestow complimentary desserts and dessert wine, all of which were wonderful. Everything we ate and drink was sublime, which is the main thing, but I was worn out from having to stay vigilant from start to near finish! Never on a Sunday again!

Came here for an anniversary and birthday and, honestly, expected better. We knew we didn't want a tasting menu because we didn't want a long dinner. Service was extremely slow and we actually saw another table leave because it was so slow. The manager actually came to that table to apologize and offer comps and the couple still left. It didn't take long to get our food. What was slow was waiting for the servers to bring us drink menus, then a long time to get our drinks and dinner menus, a long time to get the dessert menu, a long time to bring back the check. By then our 2 hour meter parking had expired and we had to ask again for them to bring the check back after taking our credit card. Nothing was comped and no apology for the slow service. We got two small complimentary truffles for the occasion. Given the slow service, they could have comped drinks or at least a full dessert. Everyone was nice enough, but no one seemed truly warm. It is odd that various different servers bring the food so perhaps the server who took our original order forgot about us? But service was slow for others as well. The sommelier seemed good with the other tables, but since we didn't get wine, he didn't talk to us. The cocktails were ok, but nothing extraordinary. Not worth the $20 price tag. Foie gras and gnocchi were good, but not worth coming back for given the slow service. We also had the lamb and duck. Duck was better than the lamb but again not worth the slow service. I would definitely try elsewhere for fine dining but glad we tried the gnocchi and now can say it does not live up to the publicity. Don't think we will be trying another Lynch restaurant anytime soon either.
