    Jennie (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was absolutely lovely, super friendly and helpful, and talked us through the whole menu and even the drinks! And the FOOD?! wow, I had so many brownie points from my boyfriend for taking us here. We will definitely be coming again, can't fault a single thing about our experience, thankyou very much!

    What a fantastic evening. I saw the Casa Verde popup on social media then heard someone talk about it. I booked it last minute as a surprise ahead of going away for a few days. It was excellent!! Neither my Girlfriend nor I am a vegan; but we are big foodies and love to try new experiences. There were set course with and without drinks flights (wine or sherry), We both agreed it would have been excellent to try with the wines but as I was driving and we both had to be up early the following day we would stick to just picking a selections of tapas dishes off the menu. We chose a variety of dishes that we liked the sound of; 2 starters, 2 second course, 3 mains and a dessert. We had a large glass of red wine each and the bill came to around £60. My favourite was the deep fried squash - incredible!!! All in all we had a superb evening and would absolutely recommend it, and will be back in future.

    This was the second time that we visited Casa Verde @ No12 and it did not disappoint. We arrived just as a huge party where leaving but the transition was seamless and the waiting staff looked after everyone. The Menu had changed with more options to choose from but still some favourites from last time. We're already planning out 3rd visit :)

    Highly recommend the tasting menu; fine dining style vegan food at affordable prices. Highlights for me were the garlic and truffle aioli, spiced lentils and cauliflower Gallego. Service was very friendly with knowledgeable and friendly staff in an informal relaxed atmosphere. They new everything about the menu and were on top of any dietary requirements. I was very pleased with the selection of local beers, but needs a few ciders added in to the mix please.

    This place is an absolute gem. The food was delicious, Jenna was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole evening and David the chef popped out a couple of times to see how we were doing. The only downside was that the cafe was quite cold! I kept my coat on all evening :/

    Imaginative vegan food, very tasty but very greasy! As it was a cold day unfortunately the room was cold. The tables were too squashed together. No soft drinks on the menu but staff very helpful and friendly.

    Food not very tasty and the restaurant was a bit cold and lacking in atmosphere. It was also quite expensive, although the service was very good and our server very nice.

    We sampled pretty much every dish of the vegan tapas on the menu on Friday night and every single one was superb, the service was fantastic and overall it was great value. I will be visiting again soon. An excellent evening and you certainly don't have to be vegan to thoroughly enjoy this food...

    Great food, didn’t find a single weak link in the selection of tapas we ordered, and the desserts... sublime. The service was attentive, knowledgeable and welcoming. Vegan Spanish tapas, who’d have thought it could be this good!

    We had a wonderful evening last week, the food was absolutely incredible, probably one of the best meals I've had in Bristol! The atmosphere was perfect, drink selection great and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The only slight niggle I had was that there wasn't any bread served with the hummus, you had to order that separately which was £3.50. We then wanted some more bread to mop up some lovely juices later in the meal which meant we ended up spending £7 on bread. Don't get me wrong, the bread was beautiful, however maybe having a a couple of slices served with the hummus would've been a nice touch. However, all in all, wonderful evening and can't wait to visit again!!

    We we're already fans of Dave's cheffing after enjoying his food at his previous posts around Bristol but this was exceptional! Wonderful and unpretentious but with the attention to detail you'd expect on a special occasion. I would highly recommend and will be revisiting. I also liked that the venue had a fully stocked wine list and a low corkage fee too!
