Always a treat to eat at Noble.
Our sever, Wayne, was outstanding.
We had dinner and breakfast at Noble - both meals were excellent! Absolutely delicious! The service was spectacular as well. We sat outside on the patio for both meals and it was perfect. Would highly recommend!
The service was good and very attentive. Yet, the food, I believe, was pretty overrated and overpriced. My hen was very dry and my husband’s steak was not phenomenal. The inside was very pretty and quiet though.
Waiter forgot parts of our order, appetizers came 25 minutes after ordering and main courses arrived 40 minutes. Food was tasteless. Very expensive for what you get. Will never go back
Well I really don't want to give them a bad review, I have been here numerous times and it was excellent all around. Yesterday was a bit different they were dealing with covid and having too scatter the table over the whole dining areas including outside. The waiter we had was excellent but looked to be swamped. We ordered after diner drinks to go with the coffee but we finished the coffee long before the drinks came. We even had to chase someone to get them. Everyone in the restaurant business is feeling the side affects of covid I am sure, so this time around I think it's fair to say all was good. If you run a business like this then its on you to staff the place and keep customer happy. Yesterday was a 5 out of 10. Let's hope on the next visit yes the next visit things will be back to normal.
Patio seating was OK.. food was OK.. the server was great everything else was average
Very friendly staff, attentive to needs and preferences. Food was exceptional. Our server, Graham, was personable, knowledgeable and kind. A wonderful experience!
It was a bit more costly then we had figured, but overall worth it. We had downloaded the menu that was on the website and were I bit disappointed that the menu given to us did not include lamb, but the meal we did choose we awesome and done as we requested. We definitely will return. The waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful in our selections. We were amused that she didn't know where Tillsonburg was and had never heard of Stompin' Tom and the song .
It was lovely to be away again. We had no concerns about health safety as everything was socially distanced and prepared with covid rules in mind.
Food and service was terrific
Seated us next to a bussing station and facing the front desk. I guess they were worried because we had a child with us. When I booked it was for outdoor but when I got there said they had no tables outdoors for three.
We were treated very well by the staff and the food was delicious!
Great food Beautiful restaurant
Excellent service and food Great time
Would love to come back
Lovely out door dining. Quiet - great food . Certainly a perfect spot for a nice romantic dinner.
Food was good, service attentive, great relaxing atmosphere. Never rushed, we enjoyed our visit.
Repeat guests to the Prince of Wales Hotel and the Noble restaurant. We had booked 3 weeks before accommodation and dinner reservation for three at the Noble restaurant to celebrate my husbands Birthday. As it is currently only patio dining we arrived outside for our 7pm reservation to find a family of four ahead of us. Unfortunately an obnxious mature couple went straight to the front and the host seated them before the family in front of us and us. This couple was offered a table for two which they refused and kicked up a fuss until they gave them a table for four. Then after a further wait the family of four was seated but they felt very disrespected and left. We suspect that the table given to the obnxious couple was our table as we then had to wait for a table to be free. Eventually we were seated at a nice table but we were 30 minutes late. The food and as always the table service outstanding. But the dinner went a little slower than usual and did not finish until 10.15pm.
My son and his family went for my husbands birthday and part of the package where breakfast and dinner was included. The food was outstanding. The soup, salad and main courses that each one of ordered was excellent and the service from the hostess to the waiter was amazing. We had a disabled person and a baby and everyone was so patient. We were on the patio because of COVID19 and love the energy on the street. Thank you for making our day special.
Lovely outdoor dinner for 4. Beautiful patio setting with all the hanging baskets in bloom. Delicious as always. Shareable lovely starter or side is the Farmer's Rarebit - with cauliflower - so delicious. Pan roasted Yellow Fin Tuna with the Nicoise salad was a perfectly light and satisfying main. The challenges we faced were limited menu offers for vegan and vegetarian choices. Chef was able to serve us the Sweet Savoury Rock Hen, "hold the hen". reportedly, delicious "stuffing". A bottle of Rosé, and a few cocktails topped off our first night in Niagara-on-the-Lake. No Internet was available which may have been a temporary state of affairs. Sommelier Fred was a HOOT, funny, fast and personable. Neil our server also worth a mention for great attention to us. Thank you Noble!
I had been to Noble a few years ago and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. This time was for my fiancee’s birthday. We sat outside in the outdoor patio. The sommelier helped us choose a wine which was great. The appetizers were great, my fiancée had the salmon and I had the cauliflower. We both got the steak. The steak was a bit disappointing, it was chewy and the vegetables seemed a bit undercooked. Dessert was a flourless cake which was okay, they remembered to wish my fiancée happy birthday which made me very happy. Overall a wonderful experience, maybe a bit underwhelming with the meal quality compared to the last time I came but still quite good.
Service varies depending on your server, but overall not very accommodating.
Not much variety of choices.
Dinner was good, breakfast and lunch below average.
Beautiful service amazing atmosphere great food
Vegan options aren’t advertised but the oatmeal, breakfast potatoes and avocado focaccia were all vegan. Excellent food and service!
Apart from the odd local driving down the street with their music blaring… the restaurant was quiet and relaxing. Our server had a great sense of humour. The food was so tasty. Great flavour combinations.
The burgers were great and the server was very friendly!
Food was delicious...really enjoyed the crab cake burger!
We may be biased but this was only our second time out since Nov 2020 so we were really looking forward to this dinner. It did not disappoint. We were seated outside, of course, on a pretty porch. Service was superb on all fronts from the hostess, the sommelier (who really knew his wines from Niagara and gave us great tips on which vineyards to visit,) to our waiter who provided perfect service. The meals, of course, were prepared perfectly. We love Niagara On The Lake and we love this restaurant and hotel. Very, very classy but comfortable as well.
Appreciate the birthday dessert, a suggestion cushions on the chairs would be great
Overall excellent and be back
Given the times of Covid, expectations must be altered but service is a priority. The waiter was new and with time he will make a great addition to well trained staff.
Food was delicious and service was phenomenal
We had three meals here as part of the hotel package. I appreciate how much they care they put into it being safe during the pandemic and the decor is nice although could be more Victorian to match the hotel. The food was sloppily made. Potatoes undercooked, fruit not ripe, I was served avocado that was brown, bread that seemed like it had been deep fried. The orders were incorrect and some tasted reheated. Honestly there was a problem with each meal. I hate writing bad reviews but the chef and staff need to step it up.
It was a great evening we loved it. Will definitely go back.
We had the rack of lamb on Saturday
It was excellent. Should always be on the menu.
Great dining experience and attention to detail for covid restrictions. Graham was a wonderful server, helping to make our dinner even more enjoyable. Food was superb, the beef tenderloin was delicious as was the mushroom pasta. Definitely will be back on our next trip to NOTL.
