Very disappointing with a few redeeming factors. This was supposed to be a special occasion, finally taking my wife for her first Nobu "experience" during our 2nd anniversary. I had high expectations as I've previously enjoyed amazing experiences at the Nobu restaurant in Las Vegas. The atmosphere was atrocious. The music was blaring like a club. Other patrons were far underdressed, obnoxiously drunk, and permitted to crowd near our table. The bright lights from slot machines located directly outside the restaurant were inescapable from our table. The food courses started with well executed classic Nobu dishes and amazing tacos but quickly regressed to simple culinary mistakes - slightly over salted, then overwhelmingly spicy. We were delighted to be served a locally inspired shrimp dish, only to be quickly upset by overcooked rubbery mushrooms, undercooked shrimp, and cold asparagus. We were at least lucky to have an excellent nigiri platter as our final course. Courtney's service was phenomenal. Perceptive, anticipatory, communicative, and highly receptive to feedback. In total, I will only return with lowered expectations and a much smaller budget.

Everything is outstanding! Service was top tier! Tiradito, oysters, yellowtail jalapeño, wagyu, king crab tempura are my recommendations. So glad we have a Nobu in NOLA finally !

Loved it- hostess sat us at the bar and forgot to tell us when our table was ready so we sat a little longer but didn’t mind because the Lychee martinis were flowing (10/10)- attentive service from many different servers. Explained the menu and suggested how we course it which worked out great. Pretty pricey but we knew this going into it. Long awaited this reservation and really was worth the wait!!

For the price point you can find better service and food in the New Orleans area. The restaurant was not busy during the time of our reservation but they stuck us next to the server station. While our server was kind and took decent care of us. I felt that service could have been better. They picked up the sauces for our wagyu while we were still eating it. As for our meal three (Shishito Peppers, Yellowtail Jalapeno, Black Cod with Miso) of the eighth iteams we ordered really was of the quality of taste you would expect. The other five where okay but could have used something to step them up a notch. We also had the Satandagi for dessert. The passion fruit sauce was good but almost felt like it didn't belong. Overall it was an okey experience but would only order the dishes we enjoyed again.

Our server was wonderful as was the rest of the staff that assisted with the meal!!The initial encounter at hostess area was not great. The hostess was not friendly or professional, qualities you would expect from a Nobu. We experienced the same reaction when we left establishment. Not a great way to start or end the experience.

Very excited to go to Nobu, our experience was less than stellar. Front of house service was so basic and poor that we decided to leave and not drop $500 when the treatment was no better than Applebees. Upon being seated we were greeted with a “good afternoon” at 9:30 pm. Server’s head was on a swivel and he didn’t take a moment to look at us. So much so that he tried to upsell cocktails when we came to the table with full cocktails from the bar. When we asked how the server was he replied “busy” with an overwhelmed look on his face. On an important birthday when I had cancelled other good restaurants that can guarantee good service, I regretted canceling those other plans to go to Nobu. Maybe the food would have been good. But all signs pointed to a disappointing night and I’m glad we left and changed plans. We went to our regular sushi place in Midcity and had a way better experience.

Not worth the money or hype. For the “cater to you”experience for four, why bring out plates that have 6 pieces? We said we want raw, most dishes were cooked, like cooked okra (lol!!). We said we like exotic, why bring out basic yellowfin with jalapeño? $1600 for 4 ppl, it was definitely not worth it. It’s laughable and a waste. Very careless of us to choose that experience
