   This was my first time at Nobu and it was an excellent experience. I was there for a long lunch with a friend I had not seen in 3 years. She a senior person in the wine industry here for a conference. The staff was gracious. The menu and specialty cocktails are perfectly curated to create a foodie experience of Japanese cuisine. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, drinks and wines and made us feel welcome and unheurried. The food itself is delicious and beautifully plated. I will definitely be back.

   Waitress was knowledgeable and servers explained all that was brought to the table. We each ordered three a-la-cart plates across the Menu, as a decent sampling of their food options. Unfortunately there was not one dish that makes me want to go back, as I’m probably less fancy and like my sushi and sashimi to be all about the fish. I could not taste the fish through all of the sauces and flavors they added, which detracted more than it added. Love the vibe and neighborhood, just plan to spend around $140/person elsewhere on my next visit.

   Very disappointing. We also ate in Nobu Scottsdale a few weeks ago and found quality there was far superior. The crispy shiitake salad was full of grit and we had to send it back. The shrimp and lobster in lemon sauce was poor quality and lukewarm. Overpriced and poor food quality. Avoid

    This review is heavily based on the price, I think if price wasn’t a factor, this would be a 5/5 experience. Atmosphere was great, just felt like it was missing something. Service was phenomenal. We did the tasting menu and we asked for only one piece of meat since the table was pescatarian. Ended up bringing the most expensive meat, wagyu A5. Felt like the rocks overcooked it as well so it took away from the taste. Felt like we could have gotten more dishes if it wasn’t for that. Overall 3/5.

    Rowda was an excellent server. Knew menu and had great selections. She is an asset to Nobu! We have eaten at many locations and she is knowledgeable about preparations and a very pleasant server.

    Our server Shuma(sp?) was incredible! He walked us through our experience with an expertise that made what could’ve been a daunting time seem effortless. He walked us through every part of our dining experience and helped curate a menu that fit our palates. In addition to that, the food was amazing. Every dish was cooked to perfection.

    The service was outstanding. Really appreciate the hostess sitting us at a great table after we accidentally made reservations at the sushi bar. Waiter was great. Bussers were polished and it was like a set change watching them quickly usher out used plates etc - seamless! (I literally hate having to move dirty plates when the food comes out, so thank you). Food was delicious, and we were able to have great uninterrupted conversation - waiters were astute enough to wait for cues, rather than when we had food in our mouths.     The entire wait staff are instructed to yell (I asked our waiter) some word I couldn’t understand when ever a new guest arrives. It was annoying, loud and obnoxious…. I will never be back because of it. I’ve been to plenty of other Nobu’s where this doesn’t happen. 900.00 for 2 people and screeching all evening.

    Everything went well!! Food was amazing, cocktails were on point. Dessert was not so great . Our server Alexis made sure my husband was taken care of since he has a seafood allergy. Will be back soon!!

    Food was okay, didn’t really seem to impress me. The lobster salad was good, good amount of lobster but it was $67 salad . They ran out of uni so wasn’t impressed by much on the menu. Oyster shooter was amazing. Warm dishes like the wasabi scallops was not so good

    I took a client for lunch and it was outstanding! Great ambiance - it was on the quieter side as it wasn't very crowded. Beautiful restaurant! Great food. We had the BEST waiter in John David. Great experience and can't wait to go back!

    Lovely food as usual but mediocre service. I don't think it should take over an hour to get your wine and over an hour to have empty glasses removed. The staff were nice and apologized for it being busy but why wouldn't they be adequately staffed to handle the crowds. They certainly charge for service that should be better than what we received. The music din was so loud it was impossible to hear what wait staff were saying. Won't be going back or recommending this venu to anyone.
