Great food and service. Pay a premium but it's worth it.
My first time dining here and loved it, What a great experience and the food was DEElish 👐🏿 The mushroom salad was everything, now if I can just master the chopsticks 🤣
We really enjoyed Nobu! First visit…we have been to most DC restaurants. The atmosphere was great. Our waitress Zoe was a great guide. We are omakase family style. The wagyu and toro were so good. The cocktails were also great! Will be coming back often!
The food and service were amazing
The ambience and service was great but the food very average. I was disappointed.
Nobu is a classic, and came through as always, thank you!
Food is incredible, definitely a place for special occasion dinner with how expensive it is. Crispy rice with spicy tuna appetizer is a must as well as the Mochi.
Food & service was great! Drinks took very long time to come out—came way after food even though ordered before.
Very beautiful restaurant!!!
Great food! Great service and experience!!!!!!!!!’n
Excellent cocktails, dining experience and delicious food!
My fiancé and I had a great experience. The waiters and waitresses were very nice and knowledgeable. When my fiancé questioned our waitress about recommendations she didn’t have to look at the menu. We ordered some of what she recommended and it was excellent. The ambiance was romantic with dim lighting but not too dark and it was very clean. The drinks Tasted nice and fresh as if they hand picked fruits and squeezed them. This restaurant rocks and would love to fo back, but be prepared to spend a pretty penny 😊
I made a reservation for 2 at 7:00pm for me and my boyfriend’s birthday dinner. He dropped me off at the front so I could get our table and he could park the car. The hostess at the front told me I would face to wait for my boyfriend to arrive to be seated. About five minutes later, a man and his son walked up to the front. He told the same hostess his party name and that his wife was already seated. The same hostess proceeded to take this man and his son to the table where his wife was already sitting. I’m unsure why this other woman was seated without the rest of her party, but I was not afforded the same service.
I’m addition, I reserved on open table where I was asked about occasions. My boyfriend and I have birthdays that are two days apart so I mentioned both birthdays. I was called by the restaurant the day of, asking for our names since they saw I reserved for birthdays. When we got to the restaurant we had to remind them it was our birthdays, there was nothing with our names on it, nor was there any free dessert offering. For the amount of money you spend at a restaurant like this, they could at least offer a free scoop of ice cream. Or don’t advertise that you celebrate birthdays.
The food was great and our actual server was so grear. But the hostess was clearly discriminatory and my expectations for a restaurant of this caliber we’re not met.
The ambiance, service and perfect merger of classic sushi and new fusion. Come expecting great food, very fresh fish and fun options (like wagyu sushi). We enjoyed perfect cocktails and some fresh uni. Even my 8 year old loved the food! I have visited Dallas, Vegas, DC, LA, San Diego and Cabo. Every time is wonderful. I keep coming back!
Service and food were both excellent
Would recommend Nobu to everyone
Service was not good. Didn’t keep allergies in mind.
The best. Period A++
I was utterly disappointed in the overall experience. They were late seating us for our reservation, we waited 45 minutes for water and two drinks, the food was brought out at separate times and cold. When I expressed my concerns to the manager all she offered was to take care of part of the check and left a cold plate of food in front of me instead of taking it away or offering a different dish. The service and hospitality was really terrible. Wouldn’t even think I had actually booked for a Nobu franchise because it definitely did nit give that!
Waygu Dumplings.. you'll regret it if you don not try!
Had a wonderful experience
Overall incredible experience! Will def be back!! Must try the Wagu dumplings
Excellent food but service was slow even for a Sunday evening.
Some of the best sushi I’ve had! Quite pricey but it’s comparable to the sushi I’ve had in Japan
I wish the menu was more detailed about how the food is prepared and what comes with each dish.
We have eaten at Nobu's in other cities. The service at Nobu DC does not meet the standard of the restaurant. Food was great. Service was a sub par.
Drinks came 20 minutes after appetizers were served. Waitress didn't know the difference between maki and temaki rolls - brought us the wrong thing. Staff was constantly reaching across us to take plates. Quality of food was good but the service was so bad the overall experience was very poor.
Wonderful and creative food, fairly expensive.
