This was easily one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had in Florida and do wish this gem of a restaurant gets to reach more people because it is to good of food to be kept in that small market place.

They only have bar seating and hold about 8 people. The chefs are extremely nice. And the food is very good. They don’t serve alcohol but you can order beer, sake and wine from the brewery located in the same building and they deliver it to you. I had the omakase plus a few extra apps and pieces and it was waaaay more than enough food.

Amazing experience, really outstanding and worth the omakase! However, having the drink menu linked to a brewery is not at the level such amazing experience deserves. Really missed being able to order a good sake or champagne bottle. Im positive they will be moving to their own place soon…

We had the Omikase and it was spectacular! Getting to interact with the chef was a great experience and allowed us to learn a lot about the dish. Highly recommended!

Ours was a 6:30 reservation on a Friday. I really was very excited about trying Norigami as I’ve heard nothing but excellent things from it. Being a Michelin recommended destination, my expectation was very high and I compared it to other Michelin recommended spots I’ve been to around Orlando. There were 3 things that missed the mark for me: 1) Very limited selection of sake (only 3 selections of sale, one of which was in a can) and other beverages, most of which came from Crooked Can. What got to me was I couldn’t place my drink order with a server, I had to do it via app and type in my credit card information each time I placed a drink order. I felt this was clunky and inconvenient. 2) I asked the chef/server for a tap water, but had to order it from a bottle (which I did). I may have been able to get a water from Crooked Can, however. 3) We got the omakase. There were only 2 of us, but I felt the pacing was way too quick. Once we were 3-4 pieces in, we realized it had only been about 5-10 minutes into the experience and we consciously started slowing down. I expected the experience to last given the limited amount of reservation times. The pieces seemed small compared to other restaurants I most likely will go back, however. I really want this to be a place in my rotation for an omakase in an awesome atmosphere.

I traveled to Orlando and decided to eat at one of the best restaurants available. Norigami was beyond that. First of all, the location of the restaurant is something else. Living in a gallery surrounded by other restaurants, Norigami stands out by its simplicity. Once ready to order, you have an impressive menu and the opportunity to have the chef himself helping you choose. The pieces come slowly, giving you time to taste every inch of your food. Talking about taste: I’ve never tried something so good, from the rice to the fish. Everything was beyond any expectations I might ever have had.

I thought the value was really good here and would recommend it to anyone that can get out here to take a seat. We booked all 8 seats for the last seating and it was nice as we were able to relax without being rushed for the next slot. You can also order any of the pieces that are made during the whole seating and then some at the end if you wanted a second piece or more of it!

There's no better, no fresher sushi in town. And, the one on one interaction with the sushi chefs adds another layer of enjoyment! They pay attention to details and get to know their customers. We absolutely love dining at Norigami!

We had a wonderful time here. The food was fantastic, each bite of omakase just melting in your mouth and bursting with flavor. The additions to the pieces of fish all well composed. The location is hip, in a food hall type spot. The chefs were friendly and well informed about their ingredients, my only gripe was that the chef helper was being verbally "hazed" by the 2 main Chefs, which I get is a "thing" in some kitchens, but being exposed to it as a customer was off putting. We will be back regardless, but really didn't appreciate the "show"

Took my mom out for her first experience of Omakase. She was very impressed with the quaity of fish and the different textures that was on display. Being a fisherman's wife, my mom knew her quality of tuna so she was delighted to try out Norigami's selection of different cuts of tuna. It was memorable as she liked all of the Omasake but especially the Scallop ! Thanks again Norigami Team!

We came in to Noragami, based on the number of recommendations and experiences from our friends and neighbors. Happily, they were all exceeded. The food was amazingly and thoughtfully prepared and presented in a very authentic Japanese manner. The fish was extraordinarily fresh, and all of them just melted in your mouth. But the Japanese scallop nigiri was especially delicious. This place is a jewel and we hope they have tremendous success for many many years. We will certainly do our part. 😀

Norigami is a staple for us. It’s our favorite sushi spot and pass time on sundays. I love the ambiance and the service is incredible, the sushi is always fresh and incredibly delicious. David is the best !!!

Chef David creates the most enjoyable dining experience in town. His food is consistently delicious and memorable. Norigami’s service is always warm, professional, and attentive. He treats his customers like family, which is extremely rare these days. He and his staff truly deserve all the praise they continue to receive.

We had the most dreadful experience at this sushi restaurant. We asked if there were any available seats at their 8-seat restaurant, the chef told us to return in an hour. Fine, we thought, we'll kill some time at the Plant St. Market and return as instructed. When we returned an hour later, we were told that they were booked up. During that hour wait I was checking Opentable to see if any time slots opened, nothing showed up. We wasted over an hour of our time waiting around. When he gave us the news, it felt very snobby and accompanied with an “It’s your privilege to dine here” attitude. We felt very disrespected and pushed aside. A complete disappointment.

The staff were super friendly, the food was excellent and very above average. Special mention to the Toro nigiri and sashimi and the king salmon with miso yuzu sauce. A very friendly place but overall the location of the restaurant was very public and privacy was very limited. Overall, definitely recommend!
