Food and service were spectacular. We did sit outside, so that brought up the noise level a bit (because there was a DJ) they did let us know before we went outside. But inside was quiet and the perfect place for an intimate evening. Some of the best food we’ve had!!

So we set inside once done eating we went outside … the outside vibe I did not like .. weird vibe like a older men pick up spot … Now the inside and the food was amazing .. the lamb was the best! Oyster were amazing, pulpo y tartare were amazing too The soup was not my cup of tea! Drinks were all well made and very tasty

Our waiter was very attentive and the food was amazing. The only disappointing part was the Jerk Florida Redfish in a banana leaf which was pretty blah and the oysters weren't released from the shell at the abductor so we had to do it ourselves. All other dishes ordered were outstanding. We ate on the patio and the traffic noise (honking) from the very busy intersection was distracting and kind of took away from the ambiance. That's not something they can control, but it was something we experienced.

Where do I start! The best dining experience I have ever had. From time we stepped in until we left was absolutely amazing. The waiter and waitress that served us were very polite, friendly and professional. The restaurant is absolutely stunning. Whoever designed it deserves an award. The food was incredible and the drinks too. We got there a little early before our reservation and were able to be seated quickly. My boyfriend and I sat on the terrace outside. I highly recommend people to go. 10 out of 10. Definitely will come back.

Fantastic service our waiter Asher was very attentive and knowledgeable. His food recommendations were spot on and we enjoyed our cocktails and food. The pork chop was cooked to perfection and the seared scallops were the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Orlando.

This pretentious restaurant could not follow through with corresponding level of service. Our bread and appetizers arrived simultaneously, and then we had to wait almost an hour for our entrees. We had to ask our server for the status of our food, waited again, and had to inquire again. Instead of addressing the issue with us directly, and perhaps apologizing and offering us some bread, he sent his Manager to deliver the bad news. The Kitchen had lost our ticket, our food would be out as soon as possible, and he would do something with the bill. After our delicious entrees, our server offered us free desserts. Only 1 out of 4 in our party wanted a dessert, so he also ordered a Port (1 dessert and port was less than 4 desserts). Again, the dessert was apparently very tasty, but when we received our bill, it included the dessert and the Port. Tacky….. when we pointed this out to our Server, he said “oh, thank you for catching that”. Is this not HIS job? As well, our Server informed us that this establish had a 20% mandatory tip, regardless of the number of guests. How he did this without apology or a straight face, after the egregious service, I do not know. Again the Manager came over, and while he did “do something with the bill”, he was clearly annoyed with us for having the audacity to complain. If the situation had been handled in a honest and professional manner to begin with, we would not have been nearly as annoyed. So, all in all, while the food was very good, the service lacked the professionalism that matched the 5 star atmosphere that Norman’s wished to present.

We were in the city to celebrate a birthday, it was great, from the waiter to the food! The atmosphere is amazing on the terrace! The food was fantastic! One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in recent memory. The service was excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable (thank you Jaret, Manager and John, our waiter. The bartenders made excellent cocktails, both standards and specialties, and the wine list was good variety. The scallops were rich and buttery, best I can remember, the risotto and short rib delicious, wonderful flavors. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We are in the terrace with live music and later DJ, not so loud you couldn’t hear your table, and generally very attractive area and ambience, with a variety of people dining and at the bar. Inside looked nice as well but we were hardly there. Will definitely try Norman’s again for a fine dining and atmosphere.

Beautiful restaurant with impeccable service. We went for a dual birthday celebration. We were offered a free glass of champagne which was very nice. The food was very expensive and I would have expected much higher quality for the price. My fish was nice, but not special...served with mashed potatoes which were typical. The mushroom risotto was outrageously expensive - if it were about $30 cheaper it would have been acceptable I have been to other Normans restaurants, including the original in Coral Gables, and at the Ritz Carlton. Based on these previous dining experiences, I expected much more. I will not be returning to Normans....I could get 2 exceptional meals at other restaurants for the price on one at Normans.

As frequent diners, we agree that Norman's is the best in Orlando for food and service. The ambiance is fantastic as well. Next time, we want to experience the terrace.
