    Service was very disappointing had to ask for menu, ask to place an order, had to ask for water twice. Was also disappointed wine bar didn’t have a more extensive wine list.

    Kept waiting for 40 minutes for cocktails, sides provided before mains, had to ask for things repeatedly. Also saw the bartender gargling and spitting in the sink behind the bar, disgusting. Multiple food items on the menu not available. The wine we wanted on the secret wine list also not available. Table was rocky and waitress unable to fix it. Food was fine but not standout.

    The girl served us was rude, we have to wait long for a menu, for ordering wine, for ordering food, and even for asking for water. But she didn’t hesitate to keep annoy us with trying to took the plate that weren’t finished.

    Fabulous food, atmosphere and booking process. Service was okay- but they did forget a dish (no biggy, we had ordered loads of food) and we did have to signal them for more drinks. But the staff were all so friendly and the service was quick. Still a highly rated place to go :)

    Shout out to our waitress who went above and beyond to ensure my dietary needs were met. I forget to ask her name, but she had long brown hair and a fringe. Before I even arrived, she had already checked with the chef and marked what I could and couldn’t have on the menu. I find places often treat my intolerances like a burden or nuisance, so it was extremely refreshing to have such a positive experience. The cocktail we had was amazing and the food was spectacular. Will definitely be returning.

    We had one of the best dinners we have had in years at North Bird last night. The 5 of us opted for the “feed me” menu and were blown away by the food that was served, both the quality and quantity of it all. One of our party is vegetarian and they went above and beyond to accomodate her diet as well as including options for the rest of us. Every dish was delicious, the staff were fantastic and so helpful, and the wine was top notch. Loved the ambience of the place as well, perfect for an intimate dinner to catch up with friends. Will be recommending North Bird to everyone I know, thanks so much for a lovely night.

    We had booked a table for a post dinner meal and when the performance was cancelled, rushed the North Bird to see if we could be accommodated earlier. The staff could not have been more helpful. The food was plentiful and delicious and the service was well timed and excellent. Within hours I was recommending a visit to a friend!

    Everything was amazingly from the moment we arrived The staff were friendly. Food was mouth watering. $69 for two people and we walked away full how did they do it? You’ll have to experience this for yourself but you won’t be disappointed

    This was my 3rd month partaking in the Wednesday night set menu experience. They do not disappoint. I now look forward to it each month with anticipation as each time the food and wine has been exceptional. There is always plenty of food and I love seeing what the chefs will come up with. Can’t wait for next month!

    Great food, tasty and zingy… well seasoned and perfectly cooked. We ordered more bread specifically for the left over sauce on the prawns! Service was top notch too. All in all if North Bird replicate this every time, you’ve got a frequent flyer in me.

    King Fish Crudo seemed to be sliced incorrectly which made it tough to cut. Pasta was under cooked and stuck together. The Ragu sauce was very sweet. The lamb rack was not cooked to the point that the fat was white and not rendered. I had to send it back. We had been here before and the foods very good. Not sure if they chef had a bad night, but the food was very poor. The saving grace for the night was the staff. They were very good and didn't question any of the issues we had with the food. I would not rush back.

    It had been a busy night so several of the meal choices were not available ….. we had a booking and our table was ready when we arrived and staff very friendly. The food was not as good a I had remembered but we will go back and try again on a quieter night

    We were so excited to try this place out because we had been there for drinks last year post dinner and loved the ambience and drinks menu. It was extremely disappointing as they are out of stock of most of the dishes we wanted and the food was actually pretty bad. Even the people next table to us were complaining about it. We don’t mind the service was slow due to staff shortage but the food was so underwhelming and when I had a chat with the manager, she was nonchalant and mechanical about it - she just didn’t give a damn! The customer next table to us who complained about it told me she got the same bad attitude when she complained to the manager so I wasn’t really surprised! I went to the convenience store a few doors down to get myself some snacks as we were all still starving since our food was that bad we didn’t have much food. It - definitely not worth the price!

    This is the second time we've visited for the $79 secret dinner deal on a Wednesday evening- and loved it both times. The variety of food is fantastic, beautifully presented and delicious. The service is really friendly and staff are particularly knowledgeable with wine recommendations. Look forward to visiting again!

    Outstanding spot with extremely talented chefs and a great bar & wine store. An absolute favourite for ours in Perth. Can't beat the Wednesday secret menu dinners.
