   This was our second time dining at North of Bourbon. We arrived 20 minutes before our reservation time and were able to order drinks while we waited for our table. All the staff was very friendly, our server Frank (Frankie?) was outstanding!! He knows everything there is to know about the menu and answered all our questions which helped us decide when ordering. The pork boudin balls are a must. Since we were there to celebrate my birthday they brought us a complimentary dessert to finish the night! It was a wonderful time.

   Absolutely phenomenal experience. But that’s nothing new. Perfect in every way. Food, service, hospitality all above and beyond.

   We visited on a snowy night and it was so cozy. The ambiance was amazing. Cocktail menu is super solid. There are plenty of vegetarian, seafood, and meat options including small, larger plates and sides. It was so hard to choose but everything we tried was great. Kind of a random note, but I love that you can order the baked oysters (special each day) by the piece which is a nice add-on to any meal. The best part of service was our server carded us and apparently recognized someone in our party had a birthday earlier in the week. It wasn’t anything we mentioned during the meal or noted in our reservation b/c it was a business meal not a birthday celebration. She brought us a dessert with our check on the house and we were confused at first but it was a nice little touch. Will definitely return and recommend.

   Always a pleasure dining at North of Bourbon! Michael and his team provide a warm, friendly beautiful space to experience delicious and creative culinary dishes with a Cajun influence. The shrimp & grits special is superb and the catfish nuggets are always a hit with a rich cornmeal batter..catfish is not my go to typically, but they do it right! Great old fashioned and James at the bar is attentive and knowledgeable..if you don’t know what to drink just ask. Do NOT leave without having the cheesecake. This is one of my local favorites and highly recommend a visit again and again. Thank you Tammy for taking good care of us.

   This was our first experience at North of Bourbon on New Years Eve and it was phenomenal! We had a reservation at the bar and had fantastic service. The owners are so kind and you can tell really care about their customers. The food and drinks were delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion

   Wonderful time! Had a good seat at the bar. Came on NYE and they had a menu highlighting their best dishes over the last 3 years (was also their 3 year anniversary). Food was delish and service was impeccable!

   There is a reason they have reservations filled up every single day. What a dinner experience. Top to bottom. Service. Atmosphere. FOOD. Wow. Get a reservation even, if it’s a month out, ASAP. Cannot wait to go back and try more items.

   We went for lunch, sat at the bar. Had great service and they have a well adapted lunch menu. Fun to sit at the bar and see all the bourbon!
