   I keep returning to this great bar/brewery. Some fantastic beers and always a great atmosphere for game time. Watching baseball, basketball and hockey here is really fun and I'd recommend it to anyone.

    Only go for happy hour deals or if you’re with a large group in need of a brunch spot. Do not go for good service and don’t except anything beyond food intended to satisfy your hunger. Check your bill before paying to ensure the server didn’t add extras to the bill that you didn’t ask for. They will gaslight you into thinking that’s “just what they do” or that “it’s a part of your meal” but it is not and should be removed, no matter how rude and condescending they are before doing so.

    Great location near to the centre of King West entertainment district. Spacious spot (could accommodate a last minute reservation for 9 people) with an energetic vibe and a live dj. Nice selection of house made brews and straight forward tasty selection of bar style eats. Serving staff were very kind but overly busy so it was hard to get a hold of them often. Overall great spot to grab beers with friends or after work drinks with colleagues.

    Great place. Reasonably priced. Really cool atmosphere and vibe. They have drink towers where it’s basically $6/ounce and you can get any kind of alcohol in them. Will come back

    My friends and I stopped here after traveling from NY and this place was just perfect. Server was excellent, food was delicious. Highly recommend the bao chicken. And if you’re from the US, the beer flights are a big bang for your buck.

    Definitely a place for a back up, or last resort. Highly disappointed with the service. A slight change had to be made with our order, and the hostess made it a big deal. It was really uncomfortable when she had to confront her colleague infront of our table. King West has better low- tier bars.

    I understand that it was New Year's Eve, but the service was very bad, we only had 2 hours to use the reserved table, but after giving us the menu, the waitress didn't show up anymore, we had to go to the counter to place our order, after a long wait when the food arrived, we didn't have silverware and napkins, it took about 5 minutes to bring our silverware and napkins, when we asked for another drink, it took more than 15 minutes for the drink to arrive.

    It is the third time I have x-mas dinner at Maverick. The special turkey dish is delicious. I am a tourist from Brazil that spend vacations here and I liked this restaurant as it has a cozy environtment for a brewery. And the attendents are so kind. For sure I will return for more delicious experiences.

    Minus 4 stars because: Food was terrible. I get that it's a beer place, but the food options are just subpar. Also the drinks and food are way too overpriced. It's practically theft. $20 for a double Baileys?? It isn't even your typical alcohol! I poured out the drink into another cup and it was just over 1 shot only. Another $1.50 for a pinch of hot sauce on the side....unreal these guys. Price gouging customers for basic food and overpricing basic alcohol (not even premium alcohol) should be illegal. The one star is for our server. I find the service here is always good and they are always friendly and kind.

    Since pandemic Northern Maverick’s quality of service has been horrid. This trip the food was also poorly prepared. The beer is always good; but this was tbe worst experience yet.

    Food was lacklustre at best, service was great though. For a sports bar, they played terrible music instead of the sound of the game and at decibel levels that made me feel like an old man shaking his fist at a cloud. Overpriced for what we had, left before the end of the game and went elsewhere.
