I have been here many many times. This place reminds me of a chalet restaurant in the mountains of Switzerland or Spain. Food is always delicious, and reasonably priced. It never seems to be crowded, and you can have great conversation because it's QUIET! Most of the staff have been there for decades, so the service is very consistent. A small reservation about the food: There is only one standard (albeit homemade) vinaigrette salad dressing offered, and it's quite bland. It's greatly improved by a hefty dose of salt and pepper. I'd suggest more seasoning and/or offering a couple more varieties.

I cannot tolerate gluten. When I ask at Nova Europa if a dish contains gluten, the wonderful owner frequently will respond, "Yes, but I can make it for you without gluten" - which he does, and then makes certain that NOTHING on my plate contains gluten. AND the food that he creates especially for me is delicious! The two friends who ate with me at my most recent meal did not require special cooking, but they both were thrilled with how delicious their meals were! I will return!

I had been there about 35 years ago ( seriously) and was amazed at the excellent variety on the menu and the quality of the food that was served to each of us. Definitely one of my favorite dining experiences in a long time.

First time diners but will definitely be back. On the food side, it brought back memories of our trip to Portugal, especially the sardines, flaming sausage appetizer and bacalhau. We topped off the meal with a delightful baked Alaska and some nice port. The server Tony was very attentive and lots of fun.

This place is nice. The food is good. The service is great. We were treated well here. Bonus, they read our reservation (which most places don’t bother paying attention to notes on the reservation). They earned our business with their food. We’ll go back for more, including good service.

As always, the food was delicious. I had the Veal Marsala, a guest had Steak, and another a shrimp special. We were all pleased Service as a little slow near the end, as there were several large parties that had arrived within minutes of each other. A good thing for the establishment, and acceptable to us

The last time we were at Nova Europa was way before COVID. We all looked forward to finally getting back to this establishment and we were not disappointed! Our favorite waiter was there and just as charming as we remember him. The food was as good as ever, service was wonderful and we look forward to coming again!

Dinner was amazing - oysters, seafood, Portuguese specialties, desserts. No one in our party of 6 (aged 81 to 15!) had any complaints. Service was incredibly attentive and helpful with menu questions and food issues. Overall one of the best dinners out we have had in the area!

Very pleasant venting with my wife. Food was well prepared and service was excellent. We ordered a bottle of wine that was no longer in stock and the server provided an alternative that was excellent. It reminded my wife and I of dining in Europe where we met 20 years ago. We will surely return.

The Early Bird and Lunch Specials are a wonderful way to have a delicious meal for an excellent price. If you have any food problems (I, for example, must avoid gluten), they are very careful and attentive to advise you about which items on the menu would be safe for you - and even to alter recipes if necessary to make the meal safe for you. They have a small outside eating area, and a fairly large indoors area, complete with a narrow balcony, which feels more like eating in Europe than any other restaurant in the area that we have eaten in.

We dine in at this wonderful restaurant at least once a week. The food, service and atmosphere are great. We had Andrew for our server. He was exceptional from start to finish. He is quite personable and gives you his undivided attention. He even checks back regularly to make sure our meal is good and to see if we need anything else. Kudos to Andrew! 😀

We had a wonderful experience at Nova Europa. Our waiter Andrew was exceptional. He recommended various Portuguese wines and the veal osso buco and it was delicious.
