found on the West Coast of Canada. Upscale plates in a down-to-earth space lets everyone

Our menu will change with the seasons as we embrace the temperamental nature of the West

    The food and service at Nox were outstanding. I was there with my husband for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it was perfect. Standouts were the attentive service and food such as the desserts (panacotta and basque cheesecake), flat iron steak, gnocchi, amatriciana pasta, broccolini and mountain of fries (thin potato fries with balsamic vinegar drizzled on top. We even received a free amuse bouche of spoons with cucumber wrapped tuna mousse ( we were off to a good start). Would recommend for a delightful dinner in a surprising location.

    The service was very good, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was average at best, for the price they charge one would expect higher standards. We saw what we believe was the manager cough into her hands a couple of times and she never washed her hands which was very worrisome. Overall we don’t think we would be going back to Nox and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

    Is not your usual Canadian Italian restaurant flavor. However, food was still good. Had the mix and match bruschetta, the Halibut, Scallop and Crispy Pork Belly. Interesting plating and food tasted palatable. The Tiramisu was not the usual one that we are so familiar with. This was the highlight of the dinner. Good service staff.

    Overall food is too salty. My friend couldn’t even take third bite of the tomato paste pasta. Marinated crab pasta taste is fine, but the pasta feels like overcooked…

    We had a delightful dinner at Nox. The service (by Raymond) was superb, every dish we ordered was terrific, and we greatly enjoyed the overall experience. We would definitely recommend Nox to anyone looking for an excellent meal and experience!

    The food was pretty good. We enjoyed it -- but the service was very slow. We received our drinks after we had already finished our appetizer. I could see them sitting on the counter, and about three servers walked by them without bringing them to us.

    Restaurant seems not to know it’s identity or goals. Not an Italian restaurant, service seemed inexperienced, dishes oddly prepared and described, and overcooked. Bar service and drinks excellent, thankfully. Would not return.

    Excellent menu but we ordered off the fixed price 3 piece meal (scallops, ribeye steak and panna cotta dessert). All excellent. We will be back.

    Mix is a great find just two blocks from Weston Bayshore. Relaxed bistro setting with interesting menu choices. We liked it so much we went back a second night!

    Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Get the wine club experience with food it is worth it. Only nit is the resturant cealing had painters tape not taken down and the are several paint touch ups needed.

    All four of us had the fix menu with wine pairing. Gave us a sample of foods we would never order on their own and paired with wines we would of never tried on our own. Great experience.

    I always feel like a lot of restaurants in Vancouver are overrated and overpriced but I got to say that I was nicely surprised to discover Nox where the food quality was incredible. We tried the 3-course meat menu and all meals were very tasty, especially the scallops that were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious! We also got the wild boar which was excellent and they also have a good selection of wines to pair with the meals. The service was also very good and professional. The waitress made sure everything was going well for us while giving us enough space to enjoy our dinner. I can only recommend this place!

    We absolutely LOVED the vegetarian Prix Fixe dinner featured on the menu. At first look the selections appeared odd...but they were all so delicious. Portions are generous so I believe one gets their money's worth at this lovely new restaurant in coal harbour. I highly recommend the restaurant. We went early with a reservation at 4:40pm as we had theatre after in New Westminster.

    Exceptional service - appreciated the coat check and teamwork from all the staff to ensure we were well attended to. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Food (we did the tasting menus) tasted great and the choices were interesting. Lots of cocktails and wines by the bottle, would have liked more options for wines by the glass. Neat ambiance and decor, I would recommend going when it’s dark outside as it elevates the vibe of the restaurant.

    Great location, spot, and has potential to be amazing. Food was good, but cold, we were only ones there, and then a single guy came in. Shame it is such a nice place, but nobody there. Maybe prices need to be changed?

    First, if you’re looking for a lively atmosphere, this isn’t it. It clearly is popular among the 60+ crowd, which is great! Just not our style as we are in our 30’s. The food was very mediocre for the cost. My partner and I have dined almost everywhere in Van as it’s a fun hobby we share. The prices and food definitely did not match. It looked fancy but lacked in taste. It’s got a stylish atmosphere that is pleasant, however. And the service was decent. Overall, we would not go back. But we did still enjoy our evening.

    It was the worst experience I ever had. The tiramisu dessert was a total disaster and disappointing. The table next to us ordered the tiramisu dessert before us, they were not so happy about it and the waitress were able to take it off from their bill but when it comes to my table, our waitress did nothing. I ordered the Wild Boar for my main dish and I specifically asked our waitress if Boar is considered as pork and she kept saying it is not pork… so I ate it and I went home feeling sick… Overall I think the service was terrible. I will not go to this restaurant ever again nor recommending it to my friends and family. So far I already posted my experience on instagram and other platform with 800+ views. So, I guess everyone has got my message. Anyways, good luck.
