It was a perfect night out, it's the kind of restaurant that you would go for a special occasion or surprising someone for their birthday night out for example. Price wise it is slightly on the higher end but worth the money. I just wish we got more chicken for our starter. Only got two skewers of chicken. Definitely recommend!

Had a reservation. Arrived 10 minutes early. restaurant was empty, were seated in a corner with no ambience at all. Waitress was very non chalant, missed an item that was ordered. Never delivered. Prices were high for what we got. Not sure I'll return.

We had an amazing experience. Our server was very helpful and had great knowledge of the menu and wine list. The food was delicious! A pleasant surprise was it came out fast. We are definitely coming back.

We shared the vegetarian platter and it was delicious and just the right amount of food. We’ve enjoyed the meat dishes in the past as well. Next time will pay and get the in house naan:)

The food was amazing as always. The food came quick but the service as a whole was slow. We were halfway through our meal when my husband had to go to the bar to ask for the drink he ordered when we ordered our food and the waitress didn’t come to check how our food was.

Fantastic evening, we booked on line. Friendly staff, very helpful. We ate at the bar which was comfortable and made it easier to talk. Great cocktails to start with then the food was amazing. My wife is vegetarian and had great choices. I had pulled pork, really tasty. Washed down with a nice cider. Dessert was amazing too. The price was great value. We so enjoyed ourselves we are going again on our last night in Vancouver

The food is consistently fresh and delicious at Nuba. The ambiance is fantastic. My visit on August 25th 2023… the service was not the best I have ever received. A bit slow and inattentive, but not enough to make me never return. I will return again and again and if you ask me where you should eat in Vancouver I will always say Nuba - any of the locations.

We felt that the food was good, but very overpriced for what we had Our grilled mezze sampler for two was $29.95 each, so for 6 people we paid $179.70 for 3 platters, which were not replenished and the amount of food was ok, but we could have used an additional skewer of chicken and lamb. A glass of fresh juice was $9.95, more than beer which was $8.00 for a lager In our sampler there was cauliflower, however, the waitress did not stop us from ordering an additional plate of cauliflower, nor did she suggest an alternative We ordered a salad as well, so with tax a gratuity we paid $285 for 6 people, not very good value for money We may recommend but tell them to be very careful on the ordering

Nuba is one of our favorite restaurants in Vancouver. Choosing one of the sampler platters is definitely the way to go! For two, we shared a trio of cold mezze dips and the grilled meats (including shrimp) sampling platter. It was more than enough food. Save room for the pistachio ice cream sandwich dessert (with saffron and rose water gelato)!

Have been to Nuba many times and love the food and atmosphere, but they have changed the menu recently and it’s definitely more expensive for smaller portions. We would always get Le Feast which is now broken up into two separate dishes. It’s definitely less food and the cost has gone up by almost $10/person for the equivalent of what used to come with Le Feast.

Food was lovely. We had two servers. The first was good, we then got swapped out to someone who had no idea what was going on. Dirty plates stacked up on our table, waited for drinks. Took about an hour to pay our bill (8 people, 4 bills which the first server had set to correctly). She was back and forth to her manager on site asking questions. The manager never came to check in, which was odd. I’d want to be sure all was good especially after the fifth back and forth if I was them. Felt like senior team didn’t care. Overall they deserve a lower rating but the food saved the day

No complaints about the service seating or ambience, great tasting food and didn’t take long to get to the table after ordering. Only a subjective issue not the same for everyone, just thought some of the items were a little more pricey than for what you got but overall would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our visit to Nuba. I really enjoyed the chicken skewers. My friend felt that the bison didn't have a lot of flavour, but we had lots of sauces to help it.

A really fine dining experience. Food, including vegan dishes is excellent. The service was was engaged and wonderful. Wish we has made a note of the name of our server, as she was prima. Our only reservation is that for us oldies, two of us in our 80s, the sound especially from the ambient music, gets in the way of easy communication. Otherwise formidable as the French say.
