   Numa Lounge has never disappointed us, always excellent food quality utilizing local ingredients, unique offerings for starters, shareable and main dishes. The ambience is comforting however the history of the building and surroundings, through photos, statues and vignettes is not lost on those visiting.

   We stopped at Numa for a celebration this past weekend. St Eugene is a beautiful resort steeped in so much history. The menu change was an interesting experience for our table. The sharing aspect was fun and allowed us to sample a few options on the menu. We did wait over an hour for our food to be served, while it was nice to have the visiting time, it was an overly long wait for what we had ordered while the restaurant was not over filled. Once we had received our food, the quality was just not up to par with the prices that were being charged on the menu. We had chosen the Chicken Wellington, as well as the 20 oz Strip loin. In addition, we ordered potatoes and asparagus. The portions were fair and fed our table of 4 quite well. The Chicken wellingtons pastry shell was very thick and under cooked on the bottom, almost raw dough. The strip loin for $65, was honestly quite awful. We did order medium well as the table likes a steak not very pink. When we received the steak is was way over cooked. It was so dry and hard that we could barely cut it and almost luke warm. The service at the restaurant was impeccable and the signature cocktail that was made was absolutely delicious. The bar tender and the server was Numas saving grace for our party. We would personally not choose to dine there again with the high prices for a very mediocre meal that you could get at any restaurant.

   Great food. Friendly staff Well laid out buffet. All dishes well presented, warm where necessary. Beef particularly tasty. Do it again, we’ll be back!

   Lovely day. My only “complaint” if I was to have one, would be that a mimosa should be included with each person. Other than that, the variety of food was great and very tasty. The location St Eugene is my favourite place in Cranbrook.

   Onca again an incredible meal at St Eugene’s lovely Numa Lounge. Everything from the appetizers to dessert was amazing! All the staff are a delight, friendly and professional. Thank you to Sophia, Jules and Laurie! You are one of the reasons Numa is our Favourite restaurant.

    Service was excellent even tho they were short staffed that night. The spinach dip was excellent. I didn’t care for the burger personally and my friends thought their chicken was a bit dry but otherwise all was well!

    Just Amazing! My husband and I are indeed very pleased and happy, we’ve been seated by the window and with the view of the mountains, waiter called Austin we’re amazing and even the manager called Lori came to our table and asked if everything is okay, and the food was great I even made a joke about the chef that if he needs a trainee to put me on the list. I highly recommend this restaurant and for sure we’re going Back❤️

    The food was okay seems like a change was made in quality since my previous visits. Service was not super great staff seemed very scattered and the table location next to the bar is awful for a nice dining feeling. I've eaten here a few times other times got a much better experience. Seems the staff are always changing too.

    It was my first time there and will definitely go back. The manager Laura was so welcoming and added little extras to make our experience that much better. They make the farm to plate a true experience. I definitely recommend this dining experience.

    Great food! The ribeye steak was excellent. Our daughter is vegan and the staff worked with the chef to prepare her a delicious meal. Our servers recommended a robust red wine for our group that we will definitely look for in the liquor store. It was a perfect evening of food, drink and laughter.

    The three of us celebrated two birthdays, my treat. The food was flavourful and well presented. My niece had an elk/wild boar burger which she enjoyed but would have liked some veggies on the burger. My chicken club on sourdough with a salad was excellent, enough so I could take half of the sandwich home for later. The daily special of mussels was "special" and a real treat for the other b'day girl. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. The snow softly falling added to the overall ambience of a calm and quiet escape from the busyness of life. Kudos to all. Warm thanks!

    Outstanding dinner all around - great service, beautiful location, comfortable space (we were in the lounge), great food and a gem of a Quinta Ferreira 2014 Malbec to top everything off. Really good value for the $ also, given the quality of the meal. We'll be back!

    We went to the New Years eve 5 course dinner. The food was fantastic! There were choices for just about any diet. Each course was paired with a wine. The service was great and the atmosphere was perfect. I originally thought it was a bit pricey, but after experiencing it, it was a great value! I'll definitely do this again.
