A little pricey but the food was very well-presented, and really delicious. My hubby & I are small eaters so we split the Caesar salad and the maple/schirachha salmon, nummy++ and plenty of food for us. Unfortunately, at our sunny window table we were accosted by a family of stink bugs from the radiator maybe. Not really management’s fault but I was not anxious to take any home on our clothing!

Numa is a favourite restaurant and it did not disappoint! Smashed burger was full of flavour and probably could have fed two, especially with the excellent veggie fries. My boar and bison filled pasta was light and the sauce was perfect. Service was attentive & unobtrusive Dirty martini could use a little work. Thank you for a delightful meal

This is probably some of the better food in a warm and inviting environment that’s available in this area. Everything was really good, if I am being hyper critical, I would have liked warm carrots vs chilled, mushrooms with flavour, and we were not sure why the smash huger was super spicy 🌶️ this time without recalling if the menu reflected this heat level.

We loved everything that we ate, it was 5* all the way. The textures, flavors, portions were perfect. I like how we had "shareables" so we select how much we want to eat. The dessert was exquisite.

Unfortunately I keep getting disappointed at Numa. They have such a good looking menu with interesting items, but it seems execution does not match. The saving grace was the service, our waitress was outstanding! Started off with not being able to their signature smoked drink. Chinese Cabbage was chewy, salty and not a good flavour, Elk and boar meatballs were dry and the only flavour in the dish was the tomato sauce. Some things did shine, Halibut was cooked perfectly, and the asaparagus and morel dish was good.

We went for a dinner for my husband's birthday. While making the reservation in special instructions I asked for a window table and a birthday desert. I wanted to make my husband's birthday special and we got neither window table nor a desert. My husband and I used to work at St. Eugene and we know if somebody make reservation with special instruction St. Eugene staff always fulfilled that for customers to make thier experience excellent but it looks like it's not the case anymore at St. Eugebe.

We had friends visiting from out of country and decided on the Numa for dinner and booked a reservation online requesting our choice for a window seat. The process was very easy! We were seated immediately upon our arrival and our server, Dawson, greeted us with food and drink menus. His knowledge of the items on the menus, answers to our various questions and as well as dishes that complimented each other was informative and impressive! We totally enjoyed each and every dish from the appetizer to the main course! The desert menu was tempting but we had no room! The ambiance was relaxing and everything was great!

For a fine dining establishment Numa was a complete and total disappointment. From the moment we arrived it was upsetting. Though we made our reservation weeks in advance we were treated like walk ins. With window tables for two open and the restaurant not crowded we are escorted to a table in a back area against a blank wall. When we protested the seating we were grudgingly seated at the window. From there it got worse. Service was excruciatingly slow and we waited patiently for each course of our meal until it came entree time and we waited and waited and waited until at 1 1/2 hours in we asked our waitress to check with the kitchen and she reported back another 10 minutes. After another 15 minutes and no entree we had had enough and asked for the manager. The manager seemed surprised but unapologetic and informed us our entrees were being plated now. At this point we no longer had an appetite and declined the food. We had sat there unattended long enough and had watched other tables seated after my wife and me served and serviced enjoying there evening while ours was ruined. Ineptitude is the word that comes to mind when we think of Numa at St Eugene Golf Resort & Casino.

The food was wonderful. It is meant to be shared but there are no reasons not to just have your own meal. We chose to share a few dishes so that we could try more dishes. Must say they were all very good. The resort was full to captivity or very near so and the staff working in the restaurant were few and worked very hard to keep their customers happy. Kudos to them for a job well done. We are fans of St Eugene Resort and go back whenever we are travelling to or from BC and Alberta. We met a great couple who were paired up with us for golf and enjoyed our time with them immensely. All in all our experience was wonderful. The 4 star rating would have been 4.5 but couldn’t seem to do that. The half off was intended to show they were extremely busy and certainly not over staffed but were well looked after in spite of that. Knowing how difficult it is to find staff these days, we weren’t surprised by it.

From the moment we were seated until we left we had a very attentive, friendly, professional waitperson, Dawson. Timing was perfect for the arrival of our dinners. . .a glass of wine to visit,then served. I had the 1/2 rack of lamb, my spouse the bison streak, both done to perfection at medium rare. The sides of creamed spinach and duck fat potatoes roundedout this OUTSTANDING dinner. As an American visiting BC I am ashamed at and apologize for my fellow Americans that whine and complain about food overdone ( they ordered meat med well done), no mint jelly or lack of service.
