It was very quiet and relaxed, Nuovo was a small dinning space but very spacious! You could see the chefs at work which was cool and the food was very good!

Great little Italian Bistro with top notch food and service. Staff were so very kind and helpful. They even brought out a high chair for my two year old son without having to ask . Excellent place for the family to go.

As the name suggests, this restaurant is Italian themed. My dining partner had bruschetta to start and cannelloni as her main. She declared both to be "wonderful". I myself had the soup of the day, shrimp bisque (my partner described it as "liquid Cheetohs" - in a good way :) ), and the linguine de mare (seafood) as my main. Both again, were totally delicious. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the seafood morsels (shrimp, squid, mussels, and salmon) were very fresh tasting. On a side note, they also offer an appie and main "special of the day" although I'm not sure if this is daily or just on the weekends. My only little nit is that they don't have craft beers on tap (but they do have many choices in the canned and bottled variety). Wine is also available. Prices were reasonable and the portions were very generous. We will definitely be returning to sample the other items on the menu. Totally recommend.

We always enjoy eating at Nuovo Bistro. Sad we moved away from the neighbourhood a few years back. Food and service always top notch. Just a note, if you are generally cold, ask to be seated further back in the restaurant. The window seats are very frigid, especially during the cold snap. Wish I would have asked to move since it was not a busy evening.

A wonderful local restaurant. Cozy inside and amazing server. Friendly and capable at her job. Food was hot and delicious flavours. My colleague said it was the best mushroom soup he had ever had. My gluten free corn pasta dish was exceptional. We will definitely be back.

Excellent food! Four of us dined and all had different items, everything tasted fresh and was presented beautifully. The waitress was very friendly and kind, my only complaint was that she didn’t know how to make drinks (clearly was very young), so I think she screwed up on two drinks. Next time someone should be overseeing that until she learns. Otherwise, great experience!

Went in with my kids for dinner. We were the first to arrive but it took almost 10 mins to have menus and get some water. The food was ok, I would even say the price is higher than the quality. Service was so even though she was a very nice person.

I loved it so much from my first visit a week before, that I had to bring another friend to try it! And I admit, I ordered the same delicious pasta dish, which I don't often do (their special feature - rigatoni with home made turkey sausage, sun dried tomatoes, creamy mushroom sauce...yum!). Our server was so friendly and helpful, and it was so special that she remembered me!

First time visiting - the delicious meal was only topped by our most friendly and gracious server! We chose every menu suggestion she gave us and we were not disappointed - from the wine, appies and main course. Thought we would try a restaurant on 124 st, and we definitely chose the right one! As usual, the food was delicious. We started with the always yummy calamari and then shared a Caesar salad. Then I had the baked in house made sausage with pasta and my brother had the gnocchi. We even saved room for the tiramisu. Great service and great food and always a pleasure to be there.

Lovely date night out! We have eaten here many times & have many favourites on the menu. I love the linguine aglio e olio & my boyfriend’s favourite is the linguine di mare. We tried the arancini for the first time tonight- so good. Also, the salmon is sublime. This place has been a staple for us throughout the pandemic, both during lockdown and when open. Thanks so much Nuovo!!! We will return.

Haven't had a meal that great in a very long time. I found covid effected the quality and service in alot of my favorite restaurants in the city. But this place was excellent. The food was great as well as the service.

A “Thank You!” to my Son. He made time to assist me while I was sick until I well. Our Server was personable, cheery, and informative. We were allowed to take our time to eat and visit. We were given the area of seating I requested when reserving a day and time. We shall return!!

I feel that the restaurant had way too many tables and the tables were very close . The front of the restaurant was proper social distancing but the back half had tables back to back along the side . I found this uncomfortably close and would not go back again unless the spacing between the tables change
