   The food was outstanding! My filet was melt in your mouth and the side of mushrooms and onions are the best we’ve had. Our server, ANDY, was absolutely incredible. By far an amazing personality and a joy to chat with! I would highly recommend the Oak Steakhouse!

   Restaurant is attractive. Our server, Logan, was fantastic. Nola Oysters and Tuna Tartare were very tasty. Steak was cooked as ordered but flavorless. There were sauces but a steak should be able to stand without sauce. Brussel sprouts with a sweet chili sauce were different but just missed it. Convenience to local hotels is nice.

   The food was amazing here. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and each person and waitstaff congratulated us as well as brought us 2 glasses of champagne. We both got steaks and they were the best we have ever had. The wine paired perfectly and the crab cakes and oysters were fresh and flavorful. We finished off the night with the crème brûlée cheesecake and it was very good.

   The food was beyond what anyone could ask for. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and had a great tableside manner and shares with us the dishes we had to try before leaving Nashville. Very pretty setting with a comforting night out vibe. We were in Nashville for 3 nights and this was by far the best food we enjoyed while there. Highly recommend the filet with truffle butter .

   Great experience. Checked in about 5:05pm for a 5:30 pm reservation and didn’t have to wait long. Our waiter (forgot his name) was excellent and approachable and knowledgeable. We ordered a filet mignon as well as a 16 oz Kansas City dry aged steak and the KC was amazing! It was dry aged for 50 days and that was a nice sweet spot. Didn’t require a sauce the steak alone was enough without sauce. Also ordered the bacon appetizer and it was perfect for 2 people. Came with 2 thick cut slices of bacon and however it’s dressed. Apparently it’s the most popular app. It was a perfect size because we could also get 2 shareables for the table. Also got the Brussels sprouts and Mac n cheese. Brussels sprouts were very tasty. Max n cheese was very good as well but nothing to brag about. All in all we had an amazing experience and so far has been our favorite steakhouse in Nashville. The steak is the true star of the dinner unlike other places where the sides can be better than the steak. We appreciate all staff and cooks for making our experience a great one and we hope others have the same great experience as we had. Highly recommend!

    Went here for a graduation celebration with family and the food was amazing!!! Appetizers were great as was the steak. Even the dessert, get the chocolate cake!!! We brought our own wine and used the cork service, the waitress was great and quick to refill our glasses. Will come again.

    The appetizer and “mocktails” were great as were the Caesar salads we ordered. As this was our first time visiting Oak, we were really looking forward to our steaks since everything up to that point was really good. Unfortunately, my husband’s steak (12 oz filet) was charred on the outside and tasted only of burnt meat. He asked for a sauce after the steak came out but it didn’t help. I ordered the bistro filet and frites. The fries were really good but the steak was meh, at best. Probably wouldn’t go back. Wasn’t my favorite steakhouse experience.

    Our dinner experience at Oak Steakhouse was nothing short of extraordinary! Robert provided fantastic service, as well as a little humor and information about the area as we are newly moved. Mark, one of the managers, greeted us and inquired about our experience and was impressively cautious to the food preparation as my wife has celiac, and he wanted to ensure our meal was made to order and there were not any issues, as well did Robert. We were impressed by the entire experience and thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at Oak Steakhouse! Would highly recommend for sure! The care and options for those with gluten allergies was unprecedented! Even having gluten-free bread available - such a nice touch.

    Had an amazing time! For the moment my family and I entered we were treated with love and respect. Our waiter Chris was amazing! From his knowledge of cocktails to the steak was refreshing. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and it was such a pleasure having a great waiter. He was patient, polite, and such a stand up guy. The steak was of course amazing. I had the Japanese A5 Wagyu and it was cooked to perfection. A little salty but no complaints. We had lobster Mac and cheese, Brussel sprouts, asparagus, and truffle fries— again all cooked to perfection. For dessert we had the chocolate cake and they bought me a crème brûlée on the house. Crème brûlée is my absolute fav and this was one of the best I’ve had. I would recommend this place 100x over!

    Server was great. Food was decent but I wish I had known the bistro steak came with a gravy sauce all over it. I didn’t like it and was disappointed. I would have asked for it to be left off had I of known. Asparagus didn’t come out with all the other things. We had to chase our server down to ask for it. When we did get it, it was too peppery. Atmosphere was good but so loud it was hard to hear our server. Most of the time, I had to ask her to repeat everything. Brussels we’re good, mushrooms were meh, truffle fries were good and Mac n Cheese was good. Everyone else liked their steak. Butter cake was amazing. Amazing!! It was our anniversary dinner so a little disappointed but maybe we will try it again and I’ll order something different or ask for that sauce to me left off.

    We had a WONDERFUL experience. The service was informative and friendly. The food was very tasty. We order the bacon appetizer, filet with bacon and onion jam and blue cheese butter, the 22oz bone in ribeye with house made steak sauce and béarnaise sauce. The sides we ordered were lobster Mac and street corn. The appetizer was perfect. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The sides were great. They gave us a complimentary crème brûlée also, delicious. I’d highly, HIGHLY recommend.

    Logan provided incredible service and excellent recommendations. Food was great, and the wine and whiskey lists were well rounded. Unfortunately, a number of the whiskey selections were not available but we've learned that's an ongoing implication of covid. We'll be back!

    Best steak in Nashville! Would have been a great experience if the server was attentive. Waited about 15 min before we were greeted and then another 20 before our order was taken. However, the food more than made up for the poor service.

    Everything was excellent! The service was top notch from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and our server brought out a creme brûlée on the house. The steak chef was fun to watch; we could tell he loves what he does! The only thing that turned me off was watching patrons come in wearing shorts and flip flops. I feel an establishment of this standard should require a dress code. Highly recommend.

    Eddie our waiter was great, however, the kitchen made a mistake and the manager did nothing to correct it. I ordered the dry aged KC Strip which is a favorite of mine and I received a dry aged prime rib. Asked another waiter who assured me it was the KC Strip even though it looked completely different then a friends who ordered the same. A few mins later, Eddie came back and said that the kitchen got it wrong and was very apologetic. The manager came over and was nice but ultimately didnt care that they gave me a ribeye over the KC Strip. He said they would comp me a desert...woohoo not. Ultimately, Eddie came back when the bill came out and said that he comped my $20 glass of wine as the manager was not willing to do anything else. Eddie did what he could, but is it my fault the kitchen cooked the wrong steak or am I supposed to throw a fit??? The ribeye was good, but the KC Strip would have been BETTER since it is my favorite and what I actually ordered. Other than that, there were a lot of bugs flying around all of the food so I am not sure if they have an issue with pnats.

    Must do when in Nashville. Food was outstanding. We enjoyed the "surf and turf". Lobster tail, crab legs and shrimp cocktail for the table. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Lamb chops and Sea Bass were also excellent. Salads can be ordered as 1/2 size so no need to share. Very impressive wine list. Our sever, Chris, was excellent. He took great pride in what he did and was very knowledgeable. And the desserts - some of the best we have had. If you're not sure what to get, try the chocolate cake, creme bruelee and a must try is the blueberry.
