   Poor service. I had requested a nice table in advance of our special celebration and was assured they would do what they can. When we arrived we had the worst table - right by the door where staff were coming and going. We asked to change and were reluctantly moved. I had been told the restaurant was full capacity that evening. Sadly about 50% of the tables were empty the entire evening. I’m not sure who manages seating but the best tables were the empty ones at the front of the terrace. Disappointing.

   Simply put, we had a marvellous lunch. The room was the perfect size for an intimate meal with our friends, and the service was the perfect balance of present that left plenty of space for us to share an absolutely delicious meal that was delightfully creative and so visually pleasing. The view is quietly inspiring— an elegant addition to a lovely afternoon on every level. Thank you so much to everyone on the team— you all contributed so beautifully to the subtle choreography of making our afternoon such a memorable occasion.

   We had a fabulous experience, the food was incredible we all chose the 3 feature dinner, the food was amazing the wine was incredible the servicer was attentive and happy. Overall a very nice place to try in NOL.

    Lovely location, room and service. One meal was good, the chicken sandwich horrible. Virtually inedible. Expensive but would have expected excellent food for the price.

    Absolutely lovely! Had a wonder breakfast on the patio overlooking the vineyard, wineries in the distance. Service at Oaklands has always been attentive, friendly and fun. Can’t go wrong with eggs Benny and the French toast is perfection. Looking forward to next time.

    We had a wonderful evening at The Oaklands. The restaurant has a nice ambience with a view of the vineyards. Our main reason for choosing this restaurant was because it had vegetarian/vegan options which are surprisingly hard to find in Niagara on the lake. The beet salad was delicious!! As was the ice wine martini! We will definitely be back and may stay in the hotel next time - it looked lovely.

    The food was excellent and the service and the decor were outsanding. We had the opportunity to try local products . Everything was well presented and full of flavours and taste. We would come back to this restaurant for sure on our next visit to Niagara on the Lake.

    Recommended by our driver, we made reservations online and we’re greeted very nicely. The smoked pork chop and hamburger delivered unique flavors just enough to make for a delectable delight. The mushrooms in Peppercorn sauce with toastettes as appetizer was simply delicious. Wine selections lovely! Highly recommend.

    Outstanding breakfast fare- had the brioche French toast with sausage side- awesome. Mickenna was very attentive and quick to serve, ask for needs. Coffee very good. OJ great. A little pricey but we were happy to go.

    Oakland’s is situated in the heart of Niagara on the Lake. Beautiful views and food was spectacular. Our waiter was attentive and let us know which dish was being served and the ingredients contained in. We love that they gave us prefixed options for a great price. Would highly recommend and would love to return in the summer when the weather is nicer.

    I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Copied your suggestion but I meant it . Thanks for a most enjoyable lunch in a relaxing & beautiful setting . Thanks also to the waiter who also entertained in a unobtrusive but enjoyable way while providing attentive service.

    Our waiter"Mr. Merlot" put on a very polished performance.👏 Quick, courteous, entertaining service; really connected well with us. We hope he is available to serve us on our next visit.     The meal, food, service, and atmosphere was perfect. For any type of person. This chef is a master. The flavours and plating were excellent. Not extravagant but simple and exactly what each of the items on the plate needed. The seasoning on each thing on our plates was subtle but precise.     Our second time at the Oaklands Restaurant and it did not disappoint. Beautiful food, nicely delivered by our fine waitress. The restaurant was brilliantly lit by the setting sun and altogether the ambiance is wonderful and very quiet.

    Tasty food, excellent service, nice setting overlooking the vineyard. No wine shop or tastings as they don’t actually produce any wine.

    So lovely and calm. A perfect spot for lunch and Kelson and Annette were lovely and welcoming. The charcuterie board and artisanal cheeses were delicious matched with the perfect local pinot noir. Looking forward to visiting again.

    The food was incredible. The dishes I had were full of flavour and sizable. The ambiance was great with good jazz music playing in the background and a view of the vineyards. The service was also excellent.
