    Oaklands at the Riverbend Inn has always exceeded expectations. Food is always excellent. Rebecca our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The wine pairing was spot on and the views from the patio overlooking the vineyards are storybook. One of the things I like best is it’s relaxed atmosphere and service that’s unpretentious.

    Disappointed in the boar paste and hamburger. Barely any meat with the boar and about a 5oz burger for $48 each with soup and desserts were very Good our waitress was delightful. The ambience-music and setting were superb. The bill came to $131 including tip-tax with a &50 coupon already subtracted. Recommend to a friend. If they are willing to pay the high prices then absolutely yes

    Dear Mr. Wheeler, Thank you for your feedback, and I'm glad you enjoyed your overall experience with us for your lunch at Oaklands. Just as a note to clarify our portions. The Wild boar made with fresh Tagliatelle pasta and has a ragu made entirely out of boar and mushrooms. Our burger is weighed daily, when we portion it out and it's 6.5 oz.     Hands down the best restaurant we visited during our stay at Niagara Falls, and by far also the most value for money compared to other restaurants. The food is amazing and the staff is attentive and kind, would recommend to anyone!!

    This is the first time we’ve been since the new management. The space is refreshed and comfortable, with a good view of the outdoor space and the vineyard beyond, and a nice vista of Peller Estate. The service was excellent throughout, but the food has improved by leaps and bounds since our last visit a decade ago. This will be our new favourite spot for fine dining in the NOTL area.

    Incredible dining experience. Stopped in for lunch yesterday before seeing a show in the Shaw Festival. David my server and the entire team catered to my every need. The food and wine were all delicious. This place is a must try when visiting NOTL. Thanks!

    Delicious food. We sat on the patio with a beautiful view over the vineyards. Three course meal and three wine pairings were excellent. In fact I went back and bought two bottles of the wine served with my main. Would definitely go again.

    First time at this restaurant. It was a beautiful day with a picturesque view . I sat on the patio and it was wonderfully quiet (went for an early lunch). Food was great and staff were very warm, helpful and happy to help. I was very happy with my meal! I would definitely go back!

    Lovely ambiance at the Oaklands restaurant! Hostess was accommodating to our request to sit inside as we looked onto the patio and the vineyard beyond as the sun set. Our waitress was lovely and well versed in the wine and food. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and they served us complementary champagne at the beginning of our experience there. What a lovely meal in a lovely place! Definitely will come again!

    The ambiance exudes relaxation. We enjoyed the artisan cheese plate, the mushroom crostini, and the pickled beet salad. All were so delicious and the 2 of us shared each dish. The service was impeccable.

    Wonderful day spent in the calm of the vineyard. I wasn't the only table that wondered why there wasn't a wine offered from the grapes we were sitting within. Food was spectacular.

    Chicken liver parfait seemed too light in consistency and lacked flavour. Mushrooms on toast were excellent. Short ribs were drier than we recalled from previous visits (2 chefs ago) Wine, cocktails and coffee were excellent Service was great

    As we arrived and were being escorted to our reserved table, there was an unpleasant and easily audible confrontation between a male server and a female server, initiated by the male server, which set a bad tone for the whole occasion. One was accusatory repetitively and the other expressing denial of the accused action.

    Four of us experienced a culinary delight last Thursday. The smile and greeting from our hostess started the evening off well. Sitting on the patio with the perfect temperature made for a great ambience. The food was delicious. Mushroom toasts followed by short ribs or Lake Erie perch plus wine pairings. See the pictures!
