OBC Kitchen is a local, chef-driven restaurant that houses an extremely rare bourbon collection, eclectic craft beer selection and extensive wine list. Centuries-old local barn wood surrounds guests as they enjoy high quality, distinctive dishes in a pub like atmosphere. Indulge in chef-driven dishes and seasonal favorites. Celebrate the weekend with $5 Happy Hour features each Friday. Enjoy brunch favorites, bloody marys and mimosas on Saturday and Sunday.

The passionate staff fosters a spirit of hospitality and Kentucky heritage. OBC Kitchen was named after the counties that eventually became Kentucky; “Old Bourbon County” was stamped on bourbon barrels that floated down the Mississippi from Kentucky and became synonymous with the best bourbon in the U.S.

    We eat out a lot—a lot, lot—and this restaurant truly impressed us! Visiting from Dallas, we were blown away by the excellent service from our waiter, Truman, whose personality and great conversation made the experience even better. The "Sneak Attack" cocktail was a fun and delicious surprise, and the food was outstanding. The halibut was cooked to perfection, and the pork chop was incredibly flavorful, tender, and juicy. Every dish was beautifully plated and worthy of their high rating. Definitely a place that deserves a return visit, even all the way from Texas!

    A Truly Memorable Dining Experience! I recently dined at OBC Kitchen, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The ambiance was inviting, with a perfect blend of cozy and elegant decor. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and attended to every detail with exceptional service. Now, onto the food—it was absolutely outstanding! We started with the burnt ends, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For the main course, I had Wagyu Burger and Fries, and it was cooked to perfection—every bite was bursting with flavor. My dining companions also raved about their choices, especially the Short Ribs and Grits. And don’t get me started on the dessert—the Carrot Cake was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Overall, I highly recommend OBC Kitchen for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. The combination of excellent food, warm service, and delightful atmosphere makes it a place I will definitely return to!

    Went for brunch with some of our runners after we ran the Bourbon Chase Ragnar relay race the day prior. They were able to accommodate our two large group reservations early AND got us seated next to each other. "They made things happen." :) Also the brunch menu was perfect for our hungry appetites, and the hash brown casserole might have been one of the best things I've ever eaten. I had a mimos and then the smoke and a pancake cocktail. The latter was super inventive and had a unique pouring experience too. Get it if you love bourbon! I will go back next time I am in Lexington since they have over 700 bourbons and whiskey available, and the vibe is stellar too.

    We always enjoy eating here. The food is, without fail, delicious. The staff is magnificent. Either they have an incredible training program, or they know exactly how to pick the best people, or both, because staff is always 100% on point, and makes the dining even more enjoyable.

    Both food and drink were delicious. Considering that lunch is $50 for two anywhere you go, this has good value.
