It is always a great experience when we dine at Ocean 44. We tend to favor this location over Steak44 and Dominick’s. This is definitely an experience. A must try out at least once. We appreciate our Ocean 44 staff and management.

Shane has been our server many times and he is without a doubt, the most entertaining and thoughtful. We thoroughly enjoy each time we visit and we have been lucky enough to get him as a server the last few times. Great way to end our Birthday Celebrations.

The experience was worth every penny. Their staff went to great lengths to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. The food was very good and full of flavor. The middle of the restaurant has an open-air like ambience that flows into every room, while maintaining an elegant dining experience.

I’ve been meaning to dine at Ocean 44 and it was fantastic. The building is very well planned and the food was over the top. We had lobster tails and scallops which were cooked perfectly. The crispy shrimp deviled eggs were so good I will go back to get more. Service was very good. Plenty of people on the staff.

We had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. We had a reservation. The manager offered us a high top table which was not the experience we wanted. Our bread on the table was cold. Not the usual attentive service. I got sick as soon as I got home from my meal. The shrimp was spoiled. We sent it back. It was clear I ate a bad one. A shame as I always loved Oceans 44.

We were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The first table they took us to we were not happy with and they gladly moved us to a much more desirable location. From this point our server Ryan was very pleasant and helped us with our dinner choices. The food and the presentation was excellent. We felt the prices for the sides were a little on the expensive side, very good but pricey. Would we eat there again, absolutely.

We had a wonderful table in the bar area and our waiter Tony did a great job at pacing our meal. The chicken fried lobster was delicious as always. My wife had one lobster tail and it was delicious and plenty. I had a bone in rib-eye with sautéed lobster on top. The corn brûlée is so good. The key lime pie was not my favorite but I’m picky about that dessert. A very fabulous evening.

We asked for and were seated in a very quiet area making conversation very easy. Our server was terrific, very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. He also made a nice recommendation for our wine. We shared a Caesar salad and both had the sea bass which was perfect as always. For sides we had the cauliflower and shrimp risotto, both were good, especially the risotto. We finished with lattes and shared the sea salt caramel gelato. It’s not inexpensive but worth every cent.

I am a frequent at this restaurant and have to give Gilbert a shout out! He was prompt, kind, and thoughtful. While outstanding service is expected here, he went out of his way to be personable and go the extra mile which did not go unnoticed. Only feedback would be, the dinner plate was excessively HOT. Had to wait approximately 10 minutes for it to cool down. When the sides were out on the plate, it burned the sides. Overall, great place and will be back soon.
