Business dinner with 10-12 guests. Oceanaire food/staff/accommodations did not disappoint. When many are entertaining guests at steak houses, Oceanaire provides a mix of great steak/meat entrees while also making this Florida boy feel at home with what came off as an amazing list of seafood options that tasted as if they were right off the boat. Two nights here during a week long conference and I’m truly happy I made that decision. My go-to when traveling to Indianapolis

I have dined here many times and always had good experiences. This time they really let me down. My waiter showed no knowledge of the menu and seemed to be uninterested in general. Our appetizers were delivered in a timely manner. We then waited 40 minutes for our entrees. The kitchen must have had them sitting there for quite a while. They were cold and poorly cooked at that.

The food was amazing. The service is outstanding, freshest seafood in the Midwest! Ian, the general manager always greet you at the door with a smile, and his hospitality trickles down to everyone in the establishment.

Only negative was that it was so dark, we all had to use our flashlights in order to read the menu. Service was great as our server recognized this was a business dinner and helped to keep things under control by asking about more drinks, dessert, etc before just offering to the table in a discrete way. Much appreciated.

After eating at the restaurant several times. This is by far the worst service by the waitress. After waiting over a half hour for a drink we finally got the attention of one of the managers. While the manager was talking to us the waitress finally showed up with the bill for the entire meal that we had not received yet. After apologizing they changed our server and then tried to make the evening right. After the server was changed it was the service that I was used to.

6:30 pm reservation on a Thursday night. We had an excellent waiter who was highly knowledgeable with spot on advice. The place was quiet, clean and laid back. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

The hostess was pleasant. The lady that topped off our beverage was great to work with. The server was average. The Clam Chowder was cold. The 10-ounce filet was uncooked in the middle. (I ordered the steak medium.) The lighting was so dim that it was hard to read the menu. The sides we not particularly hot. The corn tasted like it came from a school cafeteria. Overall, not an awful experience, but definitely not worth the $377 we paid for the three of us.

Booked on a whim while in Indy for the weekend. Atmosphere is terrific, the food was very good, but the highlight of the evening was our waiter. Very personable young man who obviously takes great pride in his work. Very attentive and genuine. Even the valet was terrific assisting us with our UBER ride, which sucked as the driver would not come curbside despite 4 text messages with exact location. Highly recommend the OceanAire.

As always, the food was always superb! The Devour Indy menu made it an exceptional value. Jeff took great care of us and we were able to have a conversation without yelling- much appreciated. It is always a perfect choice to dine here!

First time we’ve been to Oceanaire, when the service was terrible, and the food was very average. Our server knew nothing about the menu or the specials and seemed like it was his first day without any training at all. A person should never spend this kind of money for dinner and walk out thinking a neighborhood pub would’ve been a better experience.

They tried to seat us near the kitchen door, when the place was practically empty. We had an infant as our 5th, so they kindly moved us to a side table near the stairs. Food and drinks were fabulous, service was a little slow/lacking that night.

Chicken-fried lobster was overcooked and unappetizing. Lobster bisque was uninspired and bland. Creme brûlée was also bland, too thick (like vanilla pudding out of a box) and broiled sugar was too thick to warm the creme below. Server offered to replace the chicken-fried lobster but the mood was already broken. All in all an unsatisfactory anniversary meal. On a positive note, caprese salad was excellent and scallops were nicely prepared. For such a upscale restaurant, you need a real chef. Not worth the drive downtown.

Hosted a business dinner for 10 people here, it was quite well done. Staff was friendly and very amenable to our varied start time as most of us were at the bar early and wanted to finish a round before getting seating. Wait staff was very friendly, appetizers were a hit - oysters, breaded shrimp, octopus.

Food was ok. Truffle fries were over cooked & bad tasting. Tuna gave my husband gastrointestinal issues. Lettuce in iceberg salad not crisp. Wait staff tried very hard to do a good job, and largely did. Just inexperienced. Restaurant only had a few tables full on a Friday night! Ugh, walk back to hotel a bit sketchy. Safety concerns.

It was a wonderful experience! We celebrated my daughters upcoming masters celebration from ACE ! They were wonderful and the food was exceptional! I highly recommend! They gave my daughter a Complimentary dessert which was very nice !

Came here with some coworkers from Philadelphia. Reservation was east, seating was quick. Our server Mikhail was on point! Attentive and intuitive. Kevon was awesome as well. Both of them together delivered great service. The food was great , we had the calamari, the shrimp and grits, and more. Drinks were flowin and the vibe was great!

The Branzino was fryed with very little seasoning. The lobster sushi was fine, but dont understand why there was letuce in roll. More rice then anything. The staff was excellent, food, not so much.
