   Drinks, service, and atmosphere were great! I ordered the prime rib eye with roasted bone marrow. Honestly, it was the worst steak I’ve ordered… I didn’t eat half of it. My dog loved the bone marrow.

   A cool space with lots of different seating options. The service was great and we enjoyed our drinks, as well as the spaghetti squash flautas off the happy hour menu. However, the main courses didn't quite meet our expectations. We had two of the pasta dishes, and it felt like they were trying to do too much, with too many flavors fighting each other. Overall, it was a perfectly fine experience, but I wouldn't go out of my way for the food here.

   It was a wonderful place to meet up with friends and family for brunch. The food was good and so was the service but the drinks were inconsistent and my reservation was for patio/outside dining and we were seated inside. Then told outside was booked but nobody was seated there during our 2-hour stay. Overall, it was good. Food was priced moderately but drinks were overpriced for sure.

   Overall Food was not very good Eggplant meatballs were very good Roasted chicken not flavorful or easy to eat in a bowl, cold mashed potatoes not a good idea. Beef ribs tough. below pare Pork rib appetizer very good Angel food dessert , cake was too hard, like a biscuit

   Great food and so was our waitress service!! Our issue is that we made an outdoor patio reservation several months ago, but when we arrived the patio was not available and we were told it was a 45 minute wait for the patio!! WHY offer an option to reserve a specific location if that is NOT an option when you arrive. Very poor of the management to allow this to occur!!

    Service felt very hurried, and we weren’t brought a drink menu as we were dining from the Restaurant Week menu. It was also my birthday, which was added to the reservation notes and it was not mentioned at all. Food was good but the whole meal was less than an hour. We would have sat and had a couple more drinks but refills weren’t even asked about. Overall, pretty disappointing.

    Ocotillo was a very good choice for our restaurant week dining. We had a nice variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts that were expertly prepared, nicely flavored and most generous in the size of the portions. Our server was top notch, personable, professional and timely. Other wait staff were efficient, attentive and purposeful. We all enjoyed the meal and would highly recommend Ocotillo as a solid and flavorful dining experience. The quality of our dining experience was enhanced further when the manager stopped by our table to inquire about our experience and solicit our feedback. Kudos to Ocotillo !

    Our very small book club of 5 ladies met on the patio at Ocotillo for Happy Hour. Might be the last time we can comfortably sit outside til the fall. Ocotillo was our choice as we have a couple of vegetarians and the menu has plenty to offer them. We shared plates of eggplant meatballs, roasted cauliflower and sun-dried strawberries on ricotta. Everything was fresh and delicious. My only complaint was that we received half a head of roasted cauliflower instead of a whole one as I had ordered it twice previously. Happy hour drink prices are good ($7 for a glass of prosecco). Good food, good service and nice atmosphere. The dining room can be very noisy when full, but the bar and patio noise allows for easy conversation.

    Great service! Food was just so so. Used to be better. Noticed the water boy wiping his nose with his hands several times and then holding glasses to pour water. Also the hostess’s outfits were in poor taste. This is a place that now hires very young people (which is good!) but perhaps a little more training would be helpful. It has the vibe of a nice higher-end restaurant but the help does not reflect that. Also the bathroom light was broken and buzzing. Will probably be a while before we go back.

    Made a reservation for the dining room a month prior, when we get to the restaurant they seat us in the bar area. It took 10 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. We asked to be reseated in the dining room, which they did promptly do. The new waitress, while very nice, took another 10 minutes to greet us and take our food order. Food was prompt and tasted good. Our table was a little dirty, however. 3/5 stars.

    The ambience was great. The staff on the other hand need to get it together. Its as if no one communicates to one another. I called in advance for tables to be grouped together, I was told it would be done and it was not honored. When the food was ordered we had to ask for table settings, it's obvious it wasn't there, and the lack of attention to detail is not what anyone wants when out dining. The food was brought out and one of selections were brought out cold. The food started to be placed in front of the wrong individuals who ordered, instead of calling out each plate and asking it belong to them, it was simply a mess. I still had half a drink on my table we got up to take pictures, our things were still there and they took my drink but not the cups of water? It's not like they were actually cleaning up the table, to just remove my half consumed drink. I will not be returning.

    Pretty much everything was sub par. Second time dining in Ocotillo. We visited on a Saturday evening, but the restaurant was not particularly busy. The bartender didn’t know what one of the ingredients was in the cocktail he was making. Server was young and inexperienced. Food lacked flavor overall. Ordered a cauliflower item that did not mention on the menu that it was deep-fried. It basically tasted like oil. Complained to the server, he did nothing about it. Took forever to get our check.     We were seated outdoors in the back where the misters were on for no reason. It was a pleasant evening no need for mist. The food was good but a bit salty. We waited a VERY long unacceptable about of time for our food. Only 3 of the 4 people were immediately served. The other person waited even longer.

    Service was really poor and I was still hungry when I left. We were served our appetizers as a main course, which is confusing. We thought we would have a chance to order mains but that never happened. What I had was ok but would have really liked to have eaten more food and tried more of the menu. The place was how you would expect brunch but everything took a long time. The server forgot the drinks every time. It was frustrating that we got such poor service because the server spent so much time with the baby shower group and never came to take another order. Eventually we just asked the manager and bussers for drinks and they did a great job. Something, I thought was funny is that I explicitly asked for a side of polenta and the server assured me that I wouldn’t want any extra because my friend would have enough to share, but it’s actually a very small. I wanted polenta. Over all the food was well made with and good ingredients but from what I can tell it’s not too exciting. Maybe I’m wrong but in ever had the chance to find out. I would have liked to spent more and eaten more. The good thing about bad service is it leaves lots of time for talking to friends so that was nice.

    We waited 15 minutes to be sat, even with a reservation. Hostess sat us in direct sunlight despite open seating in shaded areas. We ended up moving ourselves to a shaded table. Beverage and food service was SLOW. Food was amazing so made up for other shortcomings. Plan on spending 2 1/2 - 3 hours there…There were four of us for brunch and we were there for 3 hours.

    It's been a few years since we've been to Ocotillo. Had some great memories of sitting outside and drinking whiskey with the owner, so i was excited to go back. They've got a nice menu with some great options. While the great offerings on the menu continue, and all-in-all, there were some gaps in the experience that will not having me returnService was decent when we had it, but it took more than 10 minutes to be greeted after being sat. And the greeting was "i'll be with you shortly". Food was hit or miss. Our table had a pork entree that was significantly undercooked. And when it was re-fired, everyone else had finished their meals. I was surprised that they chose to still charge us in light of the error, and nothing was offered in the meantime to keep the guest "busy" (cocktail, glass of wine, gnosh) while they waited for the entree to be redone. We asked for a specific spirit, which the server said they did not carry, yet their cocktail menu highlighted it as an item in their bar, which I later confirmed was there. After spending $100+ per head, I would expect crisper execution from the manager/service staff. While it is a beautiful property and a great vibe, I don't think i will be making a return.

    I made my reservation for a birthday celebration well in advance of the date, at least 5 weeks. we were originally told we were going to be seated at a high top table in the bar by the kitchen entrance. that was less than satisfactory as we were women dressed for dinner . Many had dresses on. When we requested a different table we were told it would be an hour. Again very unsatisfactory . Asked for the GM he immediately took care of the situation and sat us at a beautiful table in the dining room. We enjoyed appetizers, salads, and entrees. All very tasty and interesting flavors. A VERY SMALL complimentary dessert was served. Nice touch but ridiculously petite. Will definitely go again and recommend to others.

    Ocotillo was easily able to accommodate our party of 7. The outside beer garden tables are very nice picnic table style in a covered area with string lights overhead. The food was excellent. The service was great. This is a great choice for getting a small group together on a beautiful night!

    The food is high quality and creative, and the presentation is just artful! There are a lot of seating options indoor and out, which are greatly appreciated. Staff is competent and accommodating. I go there every chance I get and have had several small gatherings there. Just be aware of the automatic 20% gratuity charge, which I believe is for parties of 6 or more (which seems pretty low for being considered a "large party"). I also don't care for it. I always tip more than this but it's just the principle of not having a choice. But at least it's not an indefinable charge as at Clever Koi. (If you need to raise prices, just raise prices.)

    Reliably good and interesting food in an unusual setting with particularly attractive outdoor dining options in the garden and patio areas. W especially like the choices of small and main plates, with encouragement for sharing and a resulting ability to adjust choices to the size of the party and how hungry people are feeling. I asked for a scotch on the rocks and expressed a preference for a single large cube if they had one, rather than ice chips. To my surprise, the final bill included a $1 charge for the ice cube! Really? I've asked for large cubes at lots of restaurants but have never been charged for one. We still had a nice evening, but when I noted the ice cube charge on the final bill, I was pretty shocked and felt a bit less positive about the place.

    Overall it was great. We had a great table on the patio overlooking the beer garden. The paloverde were in full bloom and the scenery was awesome. Had a reservation and that was a bit slow. I was sat in ~25 min of my reservation. It was very busy on a Sunday so I wouldn’t knock them just know it’s the place to be so you might wait for a few. The food was fabulous our waitress Madison was amazing. Checked in on us regularly and her service was outstanding. The drinks were on point and she even got a snap of my girlfriend and I for the gram. The DJ was legit and mixed the old fashioned way with vinyl and a couple turn tables. Definitely highly recommend.
