We had a lovely evening. The fish was so delicious and fresh! The vegetable sides were amazing as well.

The staff and our waitress were ecstatic!

Highly recommended

Whenever I drive by Oddfish, it has always been busy, so I've been meaning to try this place.

Unfortunately I was quite disappointed, the food was mediocre at best, which is such a shame, because the ingredients were fresh and had so much potential.
The biggest missed opportunity was the seasoning, some things were seasoned too heavily, some things were not seasoned enough. The seafood hotmess was just bland, the lobster was overcooked. The flavors were just not there.

I did not want to speak up at first just out of being "nice", I'm not the type to complain at restaurants, however, when I was asked at the very end of the service, I did suggest that the flavor palette could be more refined, I was told that my suggestions would be reflected to the chef and that was that. Now whether if my opinion will be taken seriously is another story as I felt almost a bit brushed off, probably because it was the end of the service and I'm asking for the bill.

The noise level is high, so it isn't a place for quiet dinner, which is fine too, just something to keep in mind when booking. The service was fair, not horrible, not great. Casual.

So almost $300 for 4 people later, I think it'll be quite a while before I decide to give Oddfish another go.

The food was very good, imaginative and tasty. Some of the servings were small for the price. The restaurant was lovely to talk and visit til around 7:30 and the noise became unbearable. We couldn't even hear our server explain what the desserts were.

Everything was great except for the overbearing attitude of the person who served us.
Whilst he was very knowledgeable about the food and the menu he was a bit loud and overbearing and interrupted a little too often.

This was our second visit to this new mid-range seafood specialty restaurant. Our foursome enjoyed a range of small dishes plus the grilled seabass. Lots of good food, expert bar, nice wine list including great BC offerings. Friendly and attentive service despite a very busy room. Reso is essential here.

The experience was outstanding, the servers were very friendly and helpful. The environment is very comfortable and relaxing.

The food was excellent, and the ingredients were especially fresh - the taste of the food was very well balanced.

I have ordered the salted caramel as my dessert and it had enhanced with a slight taste of coffee in it perfectly balance the sweetness of caramel itself.

Oddfish does a great job, consistently. Shared the hot mess and octopus with a great French Rose and it just couldn't have been nicer!

The portions were small , the price high and the quality was just average. We found the restaurant noisy and while i requested a quiet table it was almost impossible to carry on a conversation at our table. The servers were friendly and attentive.

Oddfish is in a great location with parking down below which makes it so convenient. The staff are so friendly and engaging but at professional level. The food is so interesting and delicious with specials everyday and the presentation outstanding. I would highly recommend this great local restaurant in Kits.

Loved the food: melt in your mouth scallops, flavorful beet salad, tender butterflied trout. Great service, lively atmosphere

Food was generally well prepared and presented. Portions were "very very small" for the prices charged, so the food and service has to be "bang on" otherwise will be hard to compete.

Best new neighbourhood restaurant with exceptional food and ambience. If you are a foodie who loves amazing veggies then go to this new restaurant by the owners of Nook and Tavola!

WWe started with mixed olives, got 2 different kind of olives, nothing special could have gotten it in every grocery store for $1.50 Disappointing.
Next we had Linguine Vongole. I would have expected for that high amount of money that we get clams in the shell like you would expect, but what we got instead, where clams probably out of a can. Maybe there where 1 to 2 tablespoons of clams mixed with way to much oil and some Linguine. There was not even a hint of White wine present. All we tasted was oil no flavours nothing. Disappointing.
Next we had a whole fish. The fish came buried in cilantro. The fish was cooked well but without flavour and taste and overpowered in oil.
It seems not their customs to portion the fish on the table which you find even in 3rd class restaurants. Not even a fish knife was present. Disappointing.
We also had Brussel Sprouts which where mixed with something and toped with cheese. They where also overly oily and without taste or flavour. Disappointing.
We skipped the desert as we where afraid its maybe oily as well. The service was so so nothing worth to writhe about.
After that I needed 2 bottles of bier to flash that oily taste in my mouth down.
The conclusion of that evening it was a waste of time and money.
