   Such a fantastic evening. Organized so seamlessly coordinating with Miguel for a group on the patio. Picture a quiet beautiful evening in Kits with a delicious Chablis drank alongside perfectly prepared tuna tartare and Thai mussels. Our server was Aaron and he is the best we’ve had in a long time!    Special mention to the ahi tuna tostadas. So good! Everything tasted super fresh. I’m sensitive to anything that tastes remotely fishy, but there was nothing “fishy” about this seafood!

   Restaurant has a very pleasant, upbeat vibe to it. Similar menu, crowd and service to Rodney's in Yaletown. Super loud. Service pretty good. Food was okay. Eel came out somewhat burnt / overcooked. Sole tasted like butter (in the sense of a dish from Old Spaghetti Factory that's meant for little kids to eat). Drinks were good. If you're not overly picky about food quality and just want to hang out with friends for a good time at a loud place, it's probably worth a shot.

    This was my 2nd trip to Oddfish and it was as good as I remember it. The waitstaff is very attentive and the food is fresh and creative (without being too creative!). My only complaint is the indoor dining area is loud. It was hard to hear our waiter at times. Regardless, this will not stop me from going back.

    Great food, exquisitely flavoured, well cooked. The server was very courteous and polite and brought out food quickly. There was a good buzz of conversation and lively music that provided the right energy, but did not overwhelm us with its volume.

    Food was good quality, very disappointed in the service though. I was super eager to understand what was in each dish, as they were beautiful and complex, waiter didn’t explain one, wasn’t very interactive at all. At one point we went 30 minutes without the waiter acknowledging us, or helping us with refilling water. I’ve been to other restaurants where they seem eager and proud to explain their dishes and good quality food. Just felt cold and unwanted here.

    The Mille Fuille was horrible. Pastry was burnt not fluffy and light. The coffee cream was too bitter. Take it off your menu.

    Great service from the get go. I was hoping for a last minute reservation for a Friday evening and called the restaurant with my request. The person who answered the phone was friendly and ready to help me out. Awesome! When we arrived for dinner everyone greeted us with a smile. The server was excellent…attentive, knowledge and a great sense of humour. The food was delicious. We tried a variety of items…tuna tartare, sole, mussels, beet salad, pasta vongole, and the fries (yum!). Loved them all. We will definitely be back.
