The shrimp were like rubber. Couldn’t even eat them. If I could have spit the bite I took out I would have. My husband had the soup which he said was watery. This is a beautiful place and we have come here about 4 times and it seems the food is just getting worse. Sorry to say this. You need a new menu and a new chef.
Overpriced bar food
Maria was awesome, the venue is perfect. Couldn’t think of a better place to enjoy my birthday, kudos!
The service was very good as well as the ambiance. I would love to be able to hear the live music from my table instead of needing to go to that area to enjoy. That’s something that should be in the center of the restaurant for all to enjoy. Additionally if items are no longer available customers should be informed at the start of service not after they have decided on that item. There should be menu additions to make up for those things that are no longer available. Over all great experience. We have brought friends here 3 times and plan to come back. Hopefully when we return we will have the availability of valet at the door rather than being re routed for a party on site and having to walk through the garage to the elevators
Only thing I would complain about is they had an outside wedding and people kept coming in and out about 20 times and it was cold!
Disappointed ! First of all they charge $20 to park , so you can go spend $250 for an AVERAGE meal… I thought it was OK , but for that money I expect more than just OK .
Hard to judge a restaurant on Thanksgiving evening, but the service was nonexistent until we brought it to someone’s attention. The food was mixed: One of four entrees was above par. Appetizers were good: calamari was excellent. Drinks were inventive and good. Atmosphere was lovely. I would return for drinks and apps on the patio in nice weather. Not in a hurry to return for dinner.
Had a 7pm reservation at Odette's for Thanksgiving. They were providing a buffet for $65pp. We were seated before 7pm and was provided with their regular dinner menu. When questioned, we were told that they stopped serving Thanksgiving dinner at 7pm. WHAT!?! How could that be? Needless to say, we were very disappointed. We also heard others complaining who were seated at the same time. So, we did not have the thanksgiving dinner that we were expecting. Our waitress was able to secure a small pumpkin dessert from the buffet so we had some semblance of the meal we were expecting. Odette's should have called to advise us ahead of time that they'd made the decision to stop the buffet prior to 7pm for anyone with a 7pm or later reservation. We are members of The Roof and thought the way they handled this was poorly done.
Great ambience with awesome music and outstanding service!
Fantastic service, ambiance. Soups ere good but other food could be better
Wish Sunday Brunch had a few more options on it. But what was on it was very good. Pretty dining room and friendly staff. A few GF items would be excellent. Our server was great!
Amanda was fantastic. She had been there all day due to staffing shortages, but was still friendly and upbeat. We only ordered apps and drinks, but the food was fantastic. The nachos and the cornbread were amazing. We will definitely be back again soon!
Amazing food and incredible service. Lovely atmosphere- enjoyed the live violinist!
O'Dette's is the perfect place for a great meal, upscale feel, and special evening!
Comfortable spot for an intimate lunch. The piano bar really sets the tone. Quality food and delicious wine. The French Onion Soup is absolutely delicious.
Server was very rushy and no personality and a bit rude at times! Took away drink/wine menus before we could even get a chance to look at them to order a second drink. Was agitated that we weren’t ready to order right away as we had just sat down. Didn’t remind us that we had to pay for our valet on our check for dinner. After setting down the bill my husband had it in front of him and she just walked past 1 minute later and lifted the flap up to see if the credit card was in there without saying a word. She really set the tone for the night. Just seemed completely miserable agitated and unhappy. We ordered the tuna tacos as well as the deviled eggs they were good we also had the trout and the meatloaf both were good as well no complaints. For dessert we had the seasonal beignets again good no complaints. It’s amazing how bad service can really make or break a meal!
I know there’s live music -usually piano and mellow music that matches Odette’s sophisticated atmosphere. This time the musician was loud, harsh, and not enjoyable. She had a fine voice but selection of songs didn’t match the atmosphere. Food, service & ambiance was excellent but cocktails were crazy strong!
Beautiful place with excellent food and service. Lovely atmosphere with live piano in the lounge.
Trout and filet were amazing. Great ambiance and music.
It was just ok, i expected better. our waitress was very inexperienced and no personality, food took forever. My fish was hot, but potatoes were cold (were actually called warm potato salad), weird combination. Very limited menu, don't think i would go back soon.
Great dinner. Good drinks, service and food.
Really nice place and very well decorated. It was very loud right from the start when we got out of our car and were waiting for the elevator they had the piano piped into that little room extremely loud. The restaurant and bar area were very crowded and with the piano very loud. We were seated in the back lounge which was nice but it was the avenue for all of the staff and the couches were pretty uncomfortable. OK all done complaining. The food was excellent we had the cornbread we had the meatloaf and the trout and all were top notch. Bread pudding to finish was really really good as well. Definitely recommend it just be ready to lean in.
Unfortunately this was my birthday dinner. Took a very long time for server to greet the table. He was not knowledgeable of the menu, as I asked several questions and he did not know the answer. Told him I was gluten free and he said I could get the pasta dish with gluten free pasta.
Came back much later and told me I could not. Asked for grilled chicken park, the chicken was SUPER dry and flavorless.
He did not ask if we wanted more wine. And I had to ask three times for a water.
Sadly disappointed, as I was hopeful for a great meal and experience with friends.
Amanda was great! Thanks!
An amazing structure, locations, and views. The new fall menu is very good. Had the avocado toast with a fried egg and salad. Delicious.
A beautiful view of the Delaware river and a nice menu, but food was not prepared as ordered and took a long time to come out of the kitchen. This could be a wonderful venue, but not until they fix the food and the high prices.
We were very disappointed on our first trip to the “ new “Odette’s, firstly we were seated in an area of the restaurant that was opposite an event room where a wedding was being celebrated when there was plenty of room elsewhere, it felt like sitting in a railway station, people constantly coming and going to the bathroom and outside to the deck, we got very cold and asked to be moved, which we were, but only to the other side of the corridor . We asked to have the candle on our table lit, it never happened. The food is no more than average but the prices are significantly above. The $20 valet parking fee is added to your check, it’s not as if you have the option of parking your car yourself. We will not be in a hurry to return there and even less so, as there are so many better options in New Hope.
The food here is amazing! And the view is unbeatable. I highly recommend this place for a nice date night. Be prepared to pay for valet parking and the possibility of a wedding taking place. The seasonal beignets are super yummy and the cornbread skillet is great.
Food was excellent and the service was outstanding!
Overall fantastic— was slow to be seated but I assume that was due to the national staffing issues. Asked the bartender if they had a full menu at the bar. They did, so my date and I opted to sit there. The food overall was good. Ask for your dish to come out piping hot as every dish came out just, warm. The French onion and meatballs were absolutely delicious had they come out hot I’m sure they would have exceeded expectations. The bolognese was decent, but the filet is where they really shined. Cooked to perfection and the accoutrements were on point. As for a shot of bourbon with your bread pudding to finish off the night. Keith (the bartender) was lovely company for the evening as well.
Very disappointing experience! While the space is beautifully decorated, with views of the river... The food, is barely passable as average. The drinks are skimpy and the up charges (hello $20 parking fee!!) are an unpleasant surprise.
We came for an early 4-6 happy hour . Just be aware that parking costs $5 for early birds and $20 later. Drinks are very pricy average $17 but the one my husband had happened to be $22 and he had 2 of them before we knew the price. The 4-6 menu is only $10 for appetizers and our flatbread was delicious! House wines and well drinks are less then. Beautiful scenery and a beautiful place !
Service was terrible. Waited over 20 minutes for water. Server forgot my espresso. Would not recommend
Odettes exceeded all expectations. The building is stunning and the food and service were top notch. We are local and will be regulars.
Beautiful place. Totally snobby and rude . We spent so much money at the bar and then at the restaurant . Was escorted to the roof top bar to take a photo even though it was dark and raining and was then asked to leave after 10 minutes. There were 5 people total at the roof top bar. We didn’t intrude or make a scene of any kind but was suggested by “management” that we leave . I can understand this if there was a private party there but there was nothing . We would have purchased drinks at the bar as the bartenders were doing nothing and would have welcomed the opportunity to make some money.. which we have plenty of . We have another reservation in a few weeks that I will cancel and bring our guests elsewhere in New Hope as there are many choices . So my review is they were Absolutely disgusting . We will never patron this place again . So disappointing .
Horrible experience. Server was barely attentive. Trout was horrible. Was told shots wouldn’t be accommodated so served neat pours; they come to the table and are easily 1.5 pours not rocks/near pours. Sever never came by to ask how anything was going. 0/5.
Very A-list feel. beautiful building and views, great drinks, good food. Only negatives: a bit more food variety would be nice. hostess was a bit aloof.
This was our first time at the “new” Odettes. Gone is the charm of the stone cottage on the River; gone is the French oriented menu. In its pace is a wedding factory in a gigantic building that also houses the restaurant. The decor is what you would find anywhere else. Clam chowder was good, fried shrimp was very good, meat loaf was good, corn bread was dry and not very tasty. Desserts were unappealing. We wanted it to be all that it was before but it just isn’t. It’s a whole different Odettes. Some may like the more modern American vibe. We prefer the old charm.
Go for the view of the river, not for the food. Food is ordinary, unimaginative and almost ssys "we know youre here for the view. It is hotel like food and not creative.
This has become our favorite restaurant in New Hope for getting together with friends.
Great atmosphere with excellent live music.
