For a Michelin guided restaurant the food standard and taste was very low. Not impressed with patio furniture, it’s worn out. It was a birthday celebration and there was no effort made by the staff to acknowledge it or make it special. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

I hate to leave a bad review but wow. The servers were so overworked and undertrained. The wine took forever to arrive at the table. The food was served in the most haphazard way. For those prices I think we should be able to expect much better. Such poor form.

I think Officina has a lot of potential, but they need to work on their service and beverages. Martinis were very expensive and came out in little glasses instead of a nice martini glass. We were told it's the same volume of alcohol, but I doubt that very much. The menu offers Primi and Secondi but all of our food came out at once even though we gave instruction to our server. The wrong bottle of wine came to our table which was more expensive, but they did correct that issue and took the wine off completely. At this point they rushed a dessert, and we were ready to leave. The food however was very good and I think with some polishing, it will be a nice place.

We sat on the first floor and the lighting was super bright. Food was amazing and our server was great. Not thrilled about the $29.00 margarita though. Also missed celebrating two of the four birthdays which I put in a special request for and it was totally missed. It would be nice to see more variety of American wines in a better price point under 98.00 for a bottle.

I feel like the food was just not that spectacular for the prices. Our service was amazing however. Another negative was the time of day we went was 5 PM and the sun was just baking us through the windows we had asked to have the shades drawn, and then they drew the shades for the entire restaurant, which was strange I really wouldn’t go back honestly.

Food was excellent, pasta cooked to perfection. Our waiter was great too. We had a strange experience with the beverage manager, though. When he poured our wine, he brought over three glasses and poured a bit for himself. He smelled the wine deeply and said, that will open up nicely, and left with his little glass. No explanation for the pour. I’ve never had this happen in my years of dining out. Otherwise we had a great dinner.

Our food was elegantly prepared and delicious. We have had arancini at other restaurants, but the arancini at Officina was prepared differently and was wonderful. The tagliatelle Bolognese was very good. I had never had agnolotti and enjoyed the wonderful vegetables that accompany the little pastas.

- Our waiter took a while to bring out our drinks and food. - Food came out either cold or lukewarm . - It was my birthday and even though i stated that on my reservation and a family member reminded them, they still sent the dessert to the wrong person - The food is decent but like i previously stated it would’ve been better if it came out hot. The ambiance was also really good. *I used to come to this restaurant on Wednesdays for their half off pasta and i’ve always had a great experience so i was really disappointed by the quality of service i received on my birthday.

Went in for restaurant week. The menu was a decent value and the food was good but service was very poor. Was only able to order one glass of wine while placing the dinner order. We didn’t see the server again until 20min after our dessert was cleared.

We were dining there during restaurant week. We all ordered different items and tasted each others dishes. Everything thing was delicious and our waiter was very attentive and helpful when asking about a dish in reference to a food allergy. This was our second time dining there and would definitely go back again. It is a little noisy but that wouldn’t stop me from going again.

My partner and I went to Officina for brunch on Restaurant Week. After being seated, we were left alone for at least 10 minutes before flagging a waitress. Although she was not assigned to our table, she kindly "adopted' us and took care of our order. She was lovely. We later saw another waitress serving the tables around us. The food was disappointing - "grilled" peaches that were barely warmed, greasy fried polenta, soggy cannoli shells. My partner's order was more satisfying - meatballs and a burger.

Went for their dc restaurant week brunch special. I waited for over 45 minutes to get water and then over another 45 minutes to order my first course. Apparently after my water the staff "forgot" about me. The food was mediocre at best; the crostini was very underwhelming and seemed like I was eating raw peaches on hard, stale bread. My pasta was undercooked to the point that I had trouble twisting it onto my fork; but the flavors were decent. The cappuccino that I ordered at the beginning arrived almost halfway through my lengthy experience and was burnt and watery. At least there was air conditioning and the environment was pleasant to be around. Would definitely not pay full price for this adventure.

Took 30 minutes to get a waiter after being seated. From there, everything continued to move slowly and it felt as though we had to focus on getting our server’s attention for subsequent courses and drinks throughout the meal.

Our waiter was excellent, he tried to make sure our experience was top notch. The check in area was a bit chaotic and that started our experience out on a disappointing foot but our waiter more than made up for it. Food was good but not great.

The service was a little slow which is fine for a Friday night, but the food was just not there. I had the meatballs and they were drenched in the sauce, they were good but too much sauce. For the main course I had the saffron linguini with clams, it was terrible. The pasta was undercooked, it was cold, and the sauce was nothing special. Overall, the food was not worth the money. I wouldn’t go back to eat there at all. The drinks were very good tho, expensive but very good. I had the lavender cocktail and it was delicious. So if you are looking for a place to have good drinks, this is your place for sure. My friends had the steak and not impressive by it either. Very small portions as well.

Great experience for restaurant week! The menu and food options were a 10/10! The drinks were good but we do wish they had more restaurant week priced cocktails, this year they only had two. The ambiance was a little skewed because of how loud the music was but besides that it was a great night!

We went to Officina for restaurant week and were charged extra for an item that was included on the flat rate restaurant week menu (already overpriced imo). We brought this up to the manager who said sorry and walked away mid conversation. We assumed he was removing the charge from the bill, but he took my credit card and charged the full bill including the extra charge without saying anything and then had another staff member return the credit card and did not speak to us again.

The service was slow, the restaurant seemed understaffed or at least our server was extremely busy and didn’t come to take our order until 30 minutes into seating. We then explicitly asked if the pastas could be made vegetarian due to restrictions. The server said they could and they still brought out pasta that had meat in it! The bread was not fresh either and the quality of food and taste was average. The peaches on the crostini had a stale look, they were darkened. It was a very average-poor experience.

If sitting outside, be aware of loud music from courtyard next door which will require shouting to communicate with wait staff and/or your dining partner(s). Not much of a view anyway from the deck area. Service was very slow with only two waiters working a Sunday brunch slot. Tacky tables in main dining room holding stemware or rejected stemware ruined beauty and ambience of the restaurant. Food was just OK and not worth the price point. Only about four pieces of tortellini in the lobster tortellini for $36 seems like a crime. They forgot to bring us bread for the table and we had to ask. Would not go back.

NOT TOURIST FRIENDLY!! (Latina experience) Upon entering, a manager looking man asked if we were just walking in. This was after we came up from the 1st floor where we said we had a reservation. This question wasn’t asked to the 2 parties that arrived after us while we were waiting. The other 2 parties seemed to be native from the area and similar-looking to everyone else seating at this restaurant. Once seated, no water or bread was offered to us, unlike the other new arrivals seating nearby.
