OK Omens is a wine focused restaurant with an emphasis on both natural wines and integrity driven classics. Opened by 5x James Beard Nominated Chef Justin Woodward and 'Food & Wine Magazine' Sommelier of the Year Brent Braun, we offer a seasonal eclectic dinner menu designed to compliment our playful, progressive wine program.

Secure your seats for our famous 1$ Oyster happy hour, daily from 5 to 6 pm, 7 days a week. We’re talking 1$ oysters, price cuts on snacks, $9 glasses of wine, Happy Hour Cocktails and 25% the *entire* Riesling bottle list (Portland’s deepest.) The dining room and Patio can fill up fast, and reservations are strongly encouraged! Our full dinner menu is available during happy hour.

My partner and I celebrated both his birthday and our 1 year anniversary here! The $1 oyster happy hour is rockin! The staff was so kind, knowledgeable and considerate of our celebration. They gave us sparkling wine shots and a matcha Rice Krispie treat with a candle for the birthday boy!! The food was divine, the wine and cocktails were lovely. Can’t wait to go back ♥️♥️♥️

The cuisine and wine at OK Omens is excellent: inventive takes on classic dishes. The sauces, in particular, stand out. The service was attentive and the advice on wines spot on. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality. Our one quibble is the traffic noise on Hawthorne. While not constant, it is intermittently loud. It detracts from the otherwise lovely outdoor seating. You might want to sit inside.

Not my first time here and will not be my last. Menu, staff and setting are emblematic of why Portland is a respected dining destination.

We just came for a drink so we didn’t try the food. The wine selection was great, they had some unique wines and a good variety. We enjoyed our time here! Came late on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too busy.

The food was amazing. The oysters tasted very fresh. We ordered the salmon torta and the pasta with red sauce, both of which were very, very well done and very good. Flavors were brought out very well in both dishes. However, the service was not good. Our waitress (who was the blonde lady in case anyone else had this experience) Could described the dishes to us, but was not very knowledgeable about recommendations or specials that they’re running. It seems like her first priority was to push us to purchase a bottle of wine, which we were not interested in as we had plans after dinner and I was driving. Additionally, throughout our meal, the waitress came by to interrupt our conversations to just ask us how everything is rather than waiting for us to finish a conversation. The food alone saved this rating from being a one star.
