Welcome to Okeya Kyujiro

Our Omakase Experience is a chef’s choice menu consisting of seasonal ingredients mainly sourced from Japan. It includes approximately 15-20 courses with mostly sushi.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS
Please let us know before taking a reservation any allergies or food restrictions to know if we can possibly accommodate your needs.
Let us know if you’re planning to come for a special occasion.
We do not accept outsiders food or alcohol in our establishment.
We do not have a kid’s menu.

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservation must be cancelled 48 hours in advance. Failure to cancel by this time will result in a cancellation fee.
Parties of 5+ full will be required to pay the full price in advance plus 18% service fee.
A valid credit card is required to make the reservation.

A unique experience that brought us to to another world. The food was perfect, so much so that me and my partner had bittersweet moments when faced with the realisation that tasting such amazingly fresh and delicious flavors like this could not be a thing that could be replicated every day. It was indeed one on the best culinary experience I've had. The service was executed in a way that wasn't too much or too little, professional and friendly.

Everything so fresh, delicious and flavourful!! Good explanation was provided in French and English. I had expected even more theatrics based on a tiktok video, but maybe this happens more in the evenings or other locations (we had lunch in Montreal). It was quite zen actually. It lasted about 70min for 8 guests. There's an impressively fully automated toilet in the bathroom too :)

The crab and mackerel dish does not taste fresh, and quite a few course has a rather strong or over powering taste of wasabi. One of the chief did not take off gloves before presenting food the guests Normally not a big deal but at the price we paid, I would expect better.

It was such a nice experience as the food was incredible and we had such a nice service and explanation. As for the theatrical part, it was a bit underwhelming as I was expecting to have more ambiance, live music or performance... The chef did a small drawing on the leaves and we had a small performance on a little piano, but it didn't feel theatrical to me.

Very pricey - however the experience was worth it. Birthday occasion for husband - and they made it memorable. Food was delicious and all made right in front of you - so you know exactly what you are getting. Fish was as fresh as can be. Presentation was beautiful. Would go again for another special occasion!

Okeya, as always, was a magical experience had by all. Treated brother and sister in-law to their birthdays and they both equated the experience as attending an artshow. Even my sister in law who only tolerates a moderate amount of sashimi was blown away by this experience!

Amazing experience! It's like a night in Japan, litteraly, you are transported into another world. The service is impeccable, and the food is exquisite. If you have something to celebrate (and if you love fish!), go! You won't regret it!

Loved the experience! You are greeted by servers that are wearing kimonos at the door. You get to your seat and get to relax, maybe sip on some wine, because you came on time (10 minutes early from your reservation time). Then, the show begins exactly on time. It's an amazing omakase experience — very authentic! The chefs are Japanese. The starters were a nice and bright yuzu drink and a warm egg. Then they give you multiple rounds of sushi and sashimi. They show you the fish that you're about to eat (most of them from Japan). The servers / waiters tell you exactly what you're eating during each course. There were also other tempura, ramen, and rice bowl dishes along the way. It was definitely worth the spend! You get to experience such an amazing and authentic omakase, and get to eat food made with precision and high quality ingredients. They are also trilingual (Japanese, French, English). Very welcoming. Highly recommend!

This was amazing experience, food and staff were fantastic. My only complaint were the other customers who were very distracting with their cameras and were a bit rude, they ruined the traditional experience. I would recommend that you don’t allow overly excessive photography.

Amazing time there! Staff was very helpful on explaining each dish and answering our (many) questions! Very intimate setting where we could see the chef and kitchen at work but also talk amongst us. Each service was a stimulating experience on your tongue as well as your eyes. Would absolutely recommend this omakase.
