So this is a 25 course omakase dinner finished within 1h45min. You can imagine the courses are served in a rather rushed manner. All the food r generally good but nothing really stand out for this price tag. The background music at the very beginning is also a bit weird bc it’s a Japanese drumming background and then there are 3 chefs very busy preparing the dishes so I felt like I’m in a cooking competition or sth. The snow crab egg custard and sushi doesn’t really have any flavor. The eel is good. The rice needs a bit more salt or seasoning. The beef is good. The fish r generally good. Clam soup is quite blend. Dessert is just ok. I’ve been to most omakase in Toronto and I would say this lacks the sophistication I’m looking for even w generally good food n good service.

Reservation was 5:45 pm, at 5:35 pm, they called and chase us to arrive soon, which is annoying. Walking up the stairs to restaurant, the carpet on the stairs was not vacuumed. The toilet has no hand paper towel. Only an air dryer which is known to "heat up the germs" in the toilet. After sitting down, took them more than 15 minutes to get ready for the so-called "show" which is very pretentious. Noisy, poor arrangement, nothing interesting to watch and don't understand why they did such a monkey show. The food was very ordinary, and was very confusing, they served raw and cooked dishes alternatively - intermixing, which made the eating very confusing and not enjoyable. The moment I finished eating the piece on the dish, they IMMEDIATELY took away the empty dish without waiting for my wife to finish hers. Which was another bad service. Soon I realized that they moved so quickly because they need to rush to finish the 20+ courses in 2 hours and alternating to serve the raw and cooked dish because the sushi chef need to have preparation time for the next dish, so they served a cooked dish in between to fill up the time gap. Also, each piece of food on the dish was extra SMALL size. The eating counter is shallow and doesn’t have enough space to put drinking glass and dishes. No napkin to use. And they don't even pour sake that we ordered. We have to serve our own. We are a world traveler, been eating sushi at Michelin 3 stars, 2 stars, 1 star, no star restaurants in Canada, Hong Kong and of course in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Jozankei, Hokkaido, Nagoya, Hida Takayama, Hiroshima, Kobe, etc. in Japan and we NEVER had such poor service and such strange and confusing experience. Definitely not worth C$350.00 per person. And not an enjoyable experience.

Was recommended by a friend to try it. Overall they really need to improve on their menu. There was a lot of items that was too salty.
