Welcome to Okeya Kyujiro Our Omakase Experience is a chef’s choice menu consisting of seasonal ingredients mainly sourced from Japan. It includes approximately 25 courses with mostly sushi.
IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS
Please let us know before taking a reservation any allergies or food restrictions to know if we can possibly accommodate your needs. We do not accept outsiders food or alcohol in our establishment. We do not have a kid’s menu.
RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservation must be cancelled 48 hours in advance. Failure to cancel by this time will result in a cancellation fee. Parties of 5+ full will be required to pay the full price in advance plus 20% service fee. A valid credit card is required to make the reservation. To cancel a reservation, simply cancel through the OpenTable email confirmation or email us: info@info.ca

    From the moment we stepped into this one-star Michelin Japanese restaurant, it was clear we were in for something extraordinary. The experience is intimate and immersive—the chef masterfully prepares each course right in front of you, with precision, artistry, and deep respect for the ingredients. Watching him work is a performance in itself. The service was impeccable. The waitresses were attentive without being intrusive—anticipating needs before they were voiced, explaining each dish with knowledge and warmth. It’s rare to feel so well cared for throughout an entire meal. And the food—every bite was a revelation. The sushi, in particular, was on another level. Fresh, perfectly seasoned, and texturally sublime. It’s hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had, and that’s not something I say lightly. This is more than a meal—it’s an experience. If you have the opportunity to dine here, don’t hesitate. It’s a must.

    Great food, among the best Japanese I have had. Not once-in-a-lifetime life-changing but deserving of the accolades. Flawless service. Everyone is seated around a u shaped bar. Conversation was minimal at art gallery volume. The food was prepared before our eyes without unnecessary fanfare. As each dish appeared our server appeared at our ear to describe it. Lost count of the courses at our brunch but it was about 15.

    What an experience! This was such a special treat for my husband and I and we loved every second of it. The food was absolutely incredible. Reminded us of our culinary adventures in Japan and can't believe we can experience this in Vancouver. We'll be back!

    Hello, We recently went for brunch to celebrate my husband's birthday. This is the first time we have gone there or try this type of menu and it was absolutely an incredible experience. We were so immerse in the experience we felt transported and forgot the world outside of this space. The food was absolutely amazing. It is hard to describe all the flavours in our mouth, you just have to tried it. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for an unforgettable experience. Outstanding! Thank you
