My group decided to sit on the patio and, besides the wasps, everything else about the experience was great! Our server was pleasant and checked in with us frequently. We absolutely loved the espresso martinis. Everyone enjoyed their food and I would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed the brunch. Great cocktails. The music was WAY too loud. Our server couldn't hear us and we couldn't hear each other. Maybe a more laid back vibe would be better for brunch.

We arrived shortly before our reservation time and we’re told there were no tables and that it would be a 5-10 minute wait. We were then seated at the back of the patio basically in the trash collection corner. Our waitress was very attentive and took our drink and food orders in a timely manner. We also got our food and drinks in a timely manner, however, when our food arrived we were bombarded with wasps. It was so bad to the point that a few of us (there were 4 of us total) had to get up and stand basically in the street to eat our food. When we asked the hostess if we could move inside, while we were standing in the street trying to eat our food being attacked by wasps, she told us there were no other tables to move to and that there was nothing she could do. The only person who actively helped us was our server who moved us to a table up under a tree on the back deck, where we sat for 5 minutes and then got our check. We were not able to enjoy our food or brunch and stayed at the restaurant under an hour. We had really been hoping for a leisurely relaxing breakfast, but instead we were met with staff who seemed to not care at all about the wasp problem. I mean, a few of the staff just walked right by us as we were standing there being bombarded with wasps (at least 20, not exaggerating). Overall very disappointed with the staff who seemed to not care about our dining experience. Seems like the whole team needs to work on their communication and customer satisfaction. None of our food or drinks were comped even though it was basically impossible to finish our meals. The wasp issue was so bad that as we were leaving the hostess tried to sit a couple back in our area and they immediately said no and ended up leaving to eat somewhere else. Just due to the staff issues and our experience, I wouldn’t recommend eating here. Again, our server was great, she was the only one that helped us.

The chicken was drier than if you would have to chew a vintage flip-flop. The service was horrible: got my milk spilled over the table and waited for the waiter to come and clean it and didn’t happened if after almost 30 mins, I got tired of waiting and had to ask. Got a wet towel and had to clean it myself. Why do we have to tip? This TIP colture MUST END. In my experience, from al the places I’ve visited, the one with the best, consistent service is where TIP is not given since the people are on salary, therefore, they are made accountable.

I first must say the staff here is excellent. They are very kind and efficient. They are authentic and friendly. It was well staffed too. The menu is limited for a Brunch but anyone can find something. I found the prices way too steep. My drink cost more than my entree. Seriously $18.00 for a “cocktail special” is outrageous. I love that they have a dog friendly patio but that does not make charging so much for a drink okay.

First time! Reservation set and seated promptly. Ambience was great and the food was incredible. I had the blueberry hill pancake sack which were phenomenal, not too sweet at all! The menu has great prices and the quality of food is like no where else in the city. Would definitely recommend!! Our server Melissa-Sue was amazing as well.

I sat at the table outside and bees kept flying into my plate, during which I asked a waitress to change tables, but she ignored me. The fried chicken I ordered, overfried and pancake bad, was the worst dining experience I've ever had and will never come back again.

I enjoyed the food, although it took nearly 45 minutes to get an eggs Benedict - which was also cold and hard when I got it. I wish they would consider doing something to control the amount of wasps that are there. The service is SUPER slow but the food is good.

There was only one server and she behaved so rude to our table. Giving us plates but we had to distribute ourselves and she overheard what we were saying and kept asking again and again. Food came too late and the croissant seems like at least yesterday. It was morning but the bread was cold and hard. I didn't even wanna give any tips but we had to because we reserved seat for 6ppl. I will never come back.

We choose Old School to have brunch with friends and celebrate a bday. The waitress was amazing from start to end. Cheerful, funny and super taking care of us. Food was great and Margaritas were spot on! We will definitely be back!

The Old School was amazing. My friends and I ordered the Mimosa pitcher with orange juice and grapefruit and it was incredible. The food was superb. Everything was moist and cooked well. The waffles and chicken were to die for. Service and ambience was amazing. We got our food in a timely manner and our server kept checking in to make sure we were ok. I would highly recommend the Old School for brunch.

Left a note during reservation that it was my boyfriend’s birthday and asked for a candle on top of the food/pancakes. However, when we arrived and I told them my name, nobody looked in the notes/computer to check on the details of the reservation which meant we didn’t receive a candle. I was a little disappointed but the food made up for it. :)

The tables were too close from each other, the waiter refused to move us to another one in a quiet spot, I requested to get some tomatoes instead of fries, but it was not allowed. In other hand we had a very loud experience, where other clients were yelling with their friends, the music was ear piercing.

Felt very rushed by the servers to leave our table even though we had a reservation booked. The waiters supposedly had a lineup and we’re making us leave but when we left there was no lineup disappointed in the service and food was mid and served cold.

i know that it was busy and my friend hasnt come so our server didnt have to check on us until my friend comes but still when i was looking for her she didnt have to say "your guest isnt even here yet, honey". i was kinda shocked as i used to be in customer service area as well and i never said it. maybe i was not just used to such friendliness or she was just busy? idk but it was good overall

We are regulars. Love every thing about this place! Great vibe. Great food. Great Sevice. Reasonable prices. Huge portions! Good music - not too loud. Favourite dishes are egg Benny with peameal bacon, Cuban melt and Chicken & waffles with spicy honey! Staff are busy but friendly! Reservations are best. Love the new Propeller coffee!! Great switch.
