    The Stewart Family Proprietors' Dining Room is adjacent to our Wine Tasting Room and offers seating for up to 36 guests and a stand up event of up to 50 guests. This technically equipped facility is an exceptional venue for private, corporate, or family events as well as wine-related tours. The window surrounded dining room provides a spectacular view of the vineyard and Lake Okanagan. Guests can enjoy the late day breeze of Okanagan Lake from the terrace balcony off the private dining room. Other private function options are available as well. Our Quails' Gate wines, hand-crafted by wine maker Ross Baker, are available along with a choice of group menu options which reflect the fresh regional cuisine of our Winery Chef, Roger Sleiman.

    Dinner was fantastic. The Scallops couldnt have been prepared any better. The server was exceptional. He was very professional, knowledgable, and personable. This experience was everything you want in an evening out. The bottle of fortified wine and chocolates to go is a hot move. Great job you guys.

    Overall excellent. Still my favorite Okanagan restaurant. They are very busy and the food was a little cold for 1/2 if it table and would have preferred the dishes come out when ready rather than all together but the flavors were amazing and the service was excellent and again... still my favorite restaurant bar none.

    Friendly and helpful staff. Sablefish portion a bit small, but this is a regular thing in all restaurants having this fish on the menu. All restaurants should remove it.

    I entire experience was excellent. The food was fantastic, the wine pairing was perfect, and the ambiance was perfect for a quiet date night. As good as everything was it perfectly matched with arguably the best service I’ve ever had. Doug was extremely knowledgeable on any question I had about the wine or the food, always there when i needed anything, and not around when didn’t. Can’t wait to back.

    Disappointed in our visit. The service was very slow with an exceptionally long wait (45 minutes) between the salad and main course. The chicken dish was overcooked and the fish dish undercooked. Would recommend other winery restaurants in the region for better food and value.

    We were so spoiled! From the hostess greeting us at the door to dessert. Definitely recommend the Bison, Pinot Grigio and mussels. Cannot wait to go back!

    Had the seafood linguine. It was delicious! Just enough spice to give it a little zing, but not overpowering. The black linguine was very good. The portions were generous.

    Service was exceptional. Chef made us a meal that had been on the menu previously and that had just been removed. We were so appreciative that she was able to so. The dinner was a 50th anniversary celebration and the evening went so well thanks to the staff. Couldn’t have asked for more.

    We always go to Quails Gate for our Birthdays, anniversary and we do bring our out of town guests here as well. It has yet to disappoint, except for the fact they do not have some our favorite dishes back on the menu such as the crab ravioli, the halibut with foam, etc. Brett continues to be our favorite waiter as he is so knowledgeable of all the dishes. My sister in law from Toronto area is still talking about our meals and the knowledge base he has!

    Good meal. Overall gone service was just ok. Our waiter seemed like he was not super interested in serving ? I have eaten at quails gate in the past with better food and service.

    Group of four for special celebration. Always a special restaurant experience but found the music was too loud. Had to talk loudly to guests across the table. Cornish game dish was nothing special and small. It was tough and tasting ordinary. Not what one would expect for this type of restaurant. Sablefish, duck, and scallops with pork belly all were what one would expect of this high end restaurant. Overall a good night out except for noise level.

    The tasting menu was definitely not worth the price paid. The choices seemed ok but the dishes were not great at all. My mother had the highly priced halibut which was fine until she received her meal & the halibut was dry along with a very dry rice cake. So very disappointing. We were there to celebrate a birthday & have an extra special dinner. We left feeling very disappointed. I could go on with how the birthday girl was treated but I have nothing nice to say. So I’ll stop here…
