We were late because of unexpected departure delay from Vancouver. Still they accomodated us. We are truly grateful. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the aromatic profile for chenin blanc was relatively low and riesling had lower acidity than we would normally expect from a riesling. Overall we had a great experience.

Everything was remarkable about the 5 course vegetarian meal with wine pairing. The service by Amy was outstanding and the timing between each course was perfect. The description of the wines and food by Amy upon delivery made enhanced the entire experience by 100%. The presentation and the locally sourced food was delicious. I can’t say enough great things about this fantastic evening.

Amy, our server was fantastic. She was knowledgeable about the wines and menu. Helped guide us to getting to experience the range of offerings and pairings for food.

We mentioned twice it was a birthday and that was completely ignored. We ordered cocktails one we asked for an old fashioned and recieved something fruity and citrusy? Then ordered a ton of appetizers and entrees the timing was extremely slow and our server was pretty busy but uninterested in checking in on dishes quality. I have a pork allergy and the octopus appetizer comes with chorizo. Was not able to eat it but was still charged. Overall just a disappointment I love the winery but won’t come back to the restaurant. Also not to mention after a $250 meal we both went home feeling very sick and I’m assuming there was some cross contamination with either the oysters or the hen we had with pork or else spoiled oysters..
