Meh! I was expecting a lot more from the experience based on reviews and what friends said. Instead I received an over priced lunch by a friendly server. I understand that the menu changes daily, but I must have gone there on a blah day. The food is sub par for its costs. A muffuletta sandwich should not cost $29 and be that small. The food is tasty but the quantities are small. Keep expectations low and you will be happy with the experience.

Oliv @Strewn has always been inviting and magical to us. We dine there often. It is casual dining for an extraordinary culinary experience. I asked if the chef could spice up my chicken curry and he did an amazing job. I paired it with a bottle of Strewn’s Premium Riesling. It was absolutely delicious!

Service was great. Expensive food, most of it worth it. Risotto was not an expected risotto, more so just rice and vegetables in a bowl without any real creaminess/cheese/sauce to it. Lovely atmosphere

Only criticism was we weren’t offered dessert. It was probably because two of us had take home containers. When we got in the car to leave we decided to stop somewhere else for dessert. Otherwise, a lively experience and we will return.

We came to OLiV to celebrate a few milestone birthdays. The service was indeed awesome and the food excellent. Love the venue. Our server, Beth, was extremely helpful with the menu items and explanations. Definitely coming back.

Food was delicious and price of the dishes were not unreasonable. We ordered the winter salad (huge serving), lamb pops and the mussel paella. Although the paella was not what we were expecting, it was still delicious. (We were thinking of the Spanish paella). Service was friendly and great. It was not busy when we went on a weekday for a light lunch.

Wow! We came to Niagara Falls for New Years and my wife’s birthday. Beth and Katie were the absolute best waitstaff a restaurant could have. I have a 9 month old that they really made sure was comfortable and they took the time to make sure we had a wonderful time. Not to mention the food was amazing. Thank you all.

Anniversary dinner was delicious as usual. In spite of having temporary problems with their liquor license which we were contacted about in advance we were glad we went. Our server Beth couldn't have been more attentive offering complementary cake and coffee. Very enjoyable!

The service was outstanding ! I thought the salad was overpriced at 24.00 for spinach. I was disappointed that they didn’t do anything for my husband’s birthday but we went elsewhere for dessert and were treated like royalty even though we didn’t dine there . I would recommend it for lunch but not for a special occasion. Wished there were more festive decorations too.

Food was amazing. If you’re a light eater then 1 tapas dish per person is enough. Justin was absolutely fantastic (server). Will definitely go again. Bought $250 worth of olive oil and balsamic vinegar and lotions for Christmas gifts!! Very nice ambience too!

Flew In from BC to take our parents to the Shaw and wanted to go somewhere out of downtown Niagara for dinner. This winery and restaurant were fabulous. All of us had never been there before. The food, started with the share plate tapas were great and we all had a different dinner and there were no complaints on any of them. Very tasty and fresh all brought to the table hot. Our server did a great job, although it was not very busy at all. I’ll recommend this dinner venue to anyone who asks.
