Excellent lobster and fettuccini
We were disappointed. We sat at the table for 15 minutes after we were seated and no one came to say how busy they were so we could understand the slow service. We decided to leave and Two Sisters gladly accommodated us for dinner.

Right from the beginning our server was extremely rude. She turned her nose up at us as soon as we walked in. When we asked for bread she made it seem like it was a HUGE inconvenience for her. Drinks took forever to get to our table and she took forever to get us our bill. She kept making snide remarks to us for the whole interaction. I will never come back or recommend this restaurant which is a shame because the food was very good.

could have give 5 star but the restaurant didn't even say happy anniversary when I clearly indicated on the booking. The food was very good except that the smoke duck Reuben was a bit too salty.

We dined at OLiV the first night of our girls weekend. Wasn't expecting a white tablecloth setting so that was a nice surprise. The wait staff was attentive but not overly so. We ordered the Formaggio platter to start which was plenty for the 3 of us. We then shared the Goat Cheese Tart, Veal Olivopini and the Smoked Salmon Canape; all were delicious. Two of us ordered a Cranberry Pear cocktail which we both enjoyed. Our other dinner companion ordered the Niagara Mint Fizz which she found to be too much lemon; our waitress had no issue removing this from the bill. They also offered to create 3 separate bills which was very convenient, something you don't find in the U.S.
All staff very friendly and attentive. Food was absolutely delicious. Wait staff was really pushing the pasta dishes, which seemed odd. But otherwise, great experience and would definitely return.
The wine list and spirits menu were very limited....didn’t have Tanqueray gin for example. Every specialty drink and most meals including desert have balsamic vinegar in it. Don’t get me wrong they clearly have great olive oil and vinegar, but when in all of your courses it’s overwhelming. The food was ok, but was disappointed that the ‘Veggie Lasagna” has no pasta in it. It was pretty much a stack of undercooked vegetables. It was not enough food without some lasagna noodles, and it was very bland tasting.
The food was delicious and came out fast and tasted so fresh. It was nice to have bread and olive oil and Islamic oil come out just before our meal. The service was excellent. The windows look out to an outdoor patio (which looks lovely) and some green space. The ambient could have been nicer, but maybe it is different during the daytime. Only other issue was they are known for their oils and its one of reasons we went but there was no offer or encouragement to go over and taste the oils even after we asked.
My boyfriend and I went out for our anniversary dinner, and absolutely LOVED it. From the service, to the quality of the food - it was a spectacular experience.
Neither my boyfriend or I eat bread, so instead of bringing us over bread and oils, the server brought us over a vegetable spread with rice crackers. We both thought that was a nice touch.
As for the dinner; my boyfriend had the salmon and I had the chicken. We were both satisfied, and so pleased with the quality of both our meals.
I would absolutely recommend OLiV to a friend (really, to anyone)!
We went for lunch with a group of five - I have nothing but good things to say about every aspect of this meal from the time that we arrived to the time we left. The food was amazing and the service was great. The food was not inexpensive but the quality and presentation was outstanding. Truly a meal to remember. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone without hesitation. We will be back!
We drove from our hotel at Niagara on the Lake to Strewn Winery for dinner for four. We shared several tapas--smoked salmon, smokey tomato, foie and riz (fois gras and risotto), and two orders each of lambpops (baby lamb chops) and carnitas. Then shared just one dessert as we were full.
The restaurant was not crowded (Monday night) and our waiter was fun and helpful.
We were glad we made the short drive as the dinner and the winery were lovely!

Outstanding food and service. Very willing to accommodate a Gluten free diet and other allergies. Service was spot on even on a busy night. Food offerings were creative and delicious .
The only negative is the noise level. As with many modern and open designed restaurants there is little to keep sound from bouncing around the space.
Only place that offered Tapis in the area, good menu, Strewn wine was very good. The server was attentive. Very satisfied.
The tableware likes, the knife , fork and spoon are very poor quality. It is not match with the class of this expensive restaurant.

We had mixed feelings about our lunch there. The appetizer was excellent - a sort of seafood bruschetta, but the soup of the day, a sort of clear tomato consommé with bocconcini balls was too watery, with very little flavour. My main course was fettuccine with lobster (generous helping) with asparagus in a creamy sauce. Unfortunately, like the soup, the sauce lacked flavour/spice, which resulted in my having to add probably three tablespoons of Parmesan to give it some. The Opera cake we ordered for dessert was likewise pretty tasteless.

The food was amazing! Our group shared the Antipasto board, we selected 4 tapas plates, we all had the soup of the day - delicious and rich. The four of us were so full but still found room for a couple bites each of the cheesecake with strawberry salsa. Overall, we truly enjoyed a delightful and delicious experience with excellent service from our waiter, Peter.
Unfortunately, we were not impressed with this restaurant. We went the tapas route and ordered four plates to share between two, which is what the waitress recommended. The tomato tapa was basically a wedged tomato with a ranch type dressing and bacon. Tasted like a BLT but way overpriced for what it was. The veal with crab meat was so salty we both had a hard time even eating it and I like salty foods. The seafood trio was so skimpy it included one scallop a small lobster claw and pieces of minced up shrimp that probably totaled less than one decent cocktail shrimp. The shrimp toast was dry and wouldn't have guessed shrimp if it wasn't spelled out on the menu. Besides the underwhelming food, the food was so slow to come out that we were there for over two hours for two rounds of small plates. The waitress was very friendly as was the hostess and I feel badly about a poor review because everyone was so nice but that is what the purpose of reviews are all about.
First time at this restaurant - nice location, great food. I had to give 3 stars for service because our main entre took a long time to arrive - but it was worth waiting for and our waiter was great - kept checking in and apologizing for wait. I would definitely go again!
Booked this for our anniversary. Food was delicious and service was great! Had the Mediterranean salad which was amazing and 2 tapas dishes. Prices were very fair for both food and drinks. Had 5pm reservation and we were the only ones there. It filled up quickly and a table of 8 were seated close to us so it got quite noisy. All in all will definitely go back. Loved the view outside too!
We had a fantastic experience at Oliv. Our party ordered salad, tapas entrees and each one was better then the next. Our reservation was late at 8:45 p.m. but the food was cooked, presented and served like it was the first meal of the night!! Oh yes, Peter, our waiter, was super - friendly, funny, attentive and knowledgeable!! A pure delight!!
The food was just okay. Two baby lamb ribs for $20 seems a bit steep though they were very good. The antipasto platter was a bit disappointing particularly the cheeses which were fairly ordinary. I guess the point is there are far more interesting restaurants nearby with mor compelling atmosphere and food
It started to rain shortly after we arrived but our server let us stay on the patio, under an umbrella, which was very pleasant. The service was excellent as was the food. Also appreciated the fact that there were several vegetarian items on the menu. Very enjoyable evening.

Our waiter, Peter, was outstanding! He was very attentive and friendly! He recommended a wine that we really liked, and we went back the next day to purchase a couple bottles of that wine at the winery. The food was excellent! We will go back to OLiV the next time we visit Niagara-on-the-Lake!
This lovely hideaway offers olive oil tastings. And features different olive oil and balsamic vinegars in their food prep. Service is excellent and each meal was very good.

Chef cooked a delicious meal for us, server, Pete, suggested a wine which was a perfect compliment. Strewn is a must-do location for dining inside or outside.
We had the tapas, gnocchi and the artisanal (gluten-free) pizza. All were so delicious. Service was excellent. We love this restaurant and will definitely return.
"One of the best charcuterie boards I've eaten in Niagara-on-the-Lake for value, portions, satisfying and taste! We had late lunch on the sunny patio overlooking the vineyard and stream. Started with the best martini "OLiVTINIS" CRANBERRY MARTINI made with OLiV Cranberry Pear Balsamic and my new addiction BALSAMIC BLAST soda water with strawberry peach balsamic. We shared the outstanding ANTIPASTO plate Smoked Meats, Salami, Cheeses, Hummus (was ahhmazing), Artichokes, Chutney and the savory House-Made Bread with EVOO & balsamic (delicious) and sampled 3-3oz. glasses of the red wines. Truly relaxing enjoyable afternoon."
Our server advised us that the tapas were a great option to share and try different menu items. We were a table of 4 including two 200lb men. When the food arrived it was tiny appetizers that we ate in 5 minutes. Her recommendation was no helpful and we were left hungry. We ordered pizza on the way home. We won’t be returning nor will we recommend this place to other people. It would have been nice for our server to recommend meals that would actually fill us not appetizers that were glorified salads with way too much balsamic.
