Server emphasized we were only to sit for 2 hours and seated us near the kitchen door and asked to be careful not to hit anyone coming out. Did not come to check on us as my French toast was missing syrup. Different person then come to us and gave us another time limit and we asked for our cheque and left. Today’s dining experience was horrible, every other time I have dined has been exceptional. Very disappointed

We were looking for some Christmas ambience but there was no sign of Christmas unfortunately on Nov 26th. The food was delicious! Despite being placed as a group at the end of the restaurant it was still noisy and hard to hear each other. We were a group of 10 that reserved and we were placed on one long tables. A big round table would've been ideal tho. This was my second time at this restaurant and both times we waited a very long time for the bill; we needed to ask for our bills both times. Not sure if this is cultural to the management but thought worth pointing it out. The brunch menu had many delicious choices and really tasty! Staff were kind, polite and attentive! 🤗 Thank you for hosting us!

This was our first time in this place and overall experience was positive. One thing to note though - at the time of booking i was asked if we are coming for an occasion, which was the case (it was my husband’s birthday brunch), but no one made a note of that when we actually come, so even a simple “happy birthday” comment would have been nice. Otherwise, why asking at booking. Those details add class to any cafe/restaurant and are so simple to do.

This restaurant really knows what they are doing. The dishes are well crafted, flavors thoughtfully brought together. Each dish was a culinary treat.... from the tuna crudo to the duck confit.., must try the truffle fries too!

good food good service, would be nice to have fruit as well on the Benny dishes, to balance of the carbs and the richness of potatoes and Bennies, Very Noisy though in there as well. Just the way the acoustics, walls/ etc are. Also maybe add another Salad entreee as I dont like legumes (beans) as so many people are vegan or dont want anything greasy or sweet.

We had a delicious time at On & Off! Food was fabulous. With a 7pm reservation, we were surprised two menu items on a rather limited menu were already not available but that would not change how we felt about our experience. Food was amazing and the suggested wine pairing for 4 very different meals was excellent! Lovely ambiance. Thank you for opening this gem!

Very disappointing experience. We were told 4 times our desired dish was out of stoc and had to change out selection. Our one friend had to change his dish twice. We were not informed upfront which dishes were out of stock. My wife and her friend ordered the ristto with scallops, only three tiny scallops were placed on the dish. We will not return.

First time here and wow! So happy to see a gem spot like this open up here and not downtown! This place is SOOOO SOO good! The customer service, the ambiance and the food are amazing! 5 stars! The coffee was amazing! It’s not bitter and super smooth! Next time I will get a latte as they look delicious. Food was seriously so good and fresh! The French toast brioche bread was ahhhhmazing. We shared that after our mains.

Great place for a date as there is no loud music like a night club. We went with another couple and were able to enjoy good conversation without needing to yell. Menu is smaller but with great choices. We had the flank steak and risotto. Super tasty!

Great place to take my friends for special occasions without the kids. (There was a toddler next to us but I wouldn’t personally bring my kids.) Nice quiet atmosphere. Note that they provide liquid sugar which I’ve never seen before!

I was looking forward to brunch here based on other reviews, but was very disappointed. We ordered two eggs benny dishes and both were barely lukewarm when they arrived. The food was ok, but not great. We were never checked on after the food was delivered, my friend would have liked to order another drink, and we finally had to flag someone down to get our bill when we were ready to leave.

Very disappointed coming in as the website menu hadn't been updated with the new menu. Wanted to come in to eat pasta/risotto but that was switched out on the new menu for other items. Ordered the Lyon skillet, Fried Chicken Benedict, and Crab + Prawn omelette. Fried chicken Benedict tasted great, minor complaint would be that the English muffin was not toasted. Lyon skillet was a bit disappointing as the way the veal cheeks were shredded and compacted into a croquette made it taste like vegan meat. I also interpreted it as there being a potato croquette and veal cheeks on the side not inside the croquette itself. I think it would be better if the potato croquette was stuffed with veal cheek, rather than both the potato and veal being mixed together. Crab + Prawn omelette was nice but prawns were a bit overcooked and couldn't really taste the crab due to its size in the omelette. Nice ambience and decor as usual.

First time at On and Off on Austin Ave in coquitlam. Fabulous place and amazing cocktails and food. Their lobster crab risotto with scallops is a must try. One of the best risottos we have had. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Beverage service was very very slow although the food came out relatively fast. We waited for 30min to get our coffee and drinks even though the restaurant was not full. Overall staff training seems necessary.

Don't let the generic name put you off. The food here is simply EXCELLENT. This is creative execution of classic dishes. Must try the scallop risotto and sablefish. I wasn't expecting a nice restaurant in this location, much less one with a patio and view (kind of) Hidden gem.

The fries and the bread for starters were good but nothing special The mushroom pasta was okay However for the main the lamb was very disappointing The food portion definitely did not match the price and the taste was not extraordinary just normal lamb dish. They are short staffed even when the place was empty they never came to check on us. Only good things of this place were the inside deco as well as the plating of the food. Had higher expectations from the starters but the overall experience considering the taste and value was horrible At least if the taste was good I would not be complaining that much about the value of the dish but it was nothing special. The dish portion is like an appetizer which is a scam Maybe their brunch is actually good But the dinner is probably the worst I ever experienced to actually leave my first review here Not going back here again
