    The food and service were outstanding. Because the restaurant was completely full, the noise level was a little bit loud. The decor and ambiance are very up to date and inviting. We have been before and will be back again.

    My husband and I made a last minute reservation and were so glad we did. The food was great, service was perfect. It was definitely hopping on a Friday evening as we were leaving but we noticed acoustic panels on the ceiling which seem to really make a positive difference. I had shrimp and grits and he had salmon. Don’t skip the biscuits!

    The chicken and waffles were absolutely amazing! Best I’ve had. Our service was amazing and the food came out so fast. We will definitely be returning very soon!

    I always love the food at this establishment! However, we took a vegan guest this time, and the one offering was not well thought through. Tofu was served topped with marinara, beans and eggplant. It did not marry together and was not seasoned well, so she did not eat much of it. It simply did not taste good. It would have been better if the tofu had been marinated, or cooked to get a sear on it, and a better sauce would be helpful. The eggplant was an odd pairing. Why not stick to the regular sides and make some vegan friendly? A vegie plate perhaps? Or a pasta?

    Food and portions were great. We got the salmon and the schnitzel. We also tried the holiday old fashioned. Everything was high quality and delicious. Oh and the arugula salad with beets and fried goat cheese is a must but it is huge! TJ was our bartender/server and he did a great job. Thank you! We will be back.

    Great family dinner at On The Nines. It was a busy night but our service from Kirtand those assisting was excellent, never rushed. Our food was great! I personally appreciate that the noise level is reasonable and you can converse easily.

    On the Nines is definitely a TEN! Food is consistently great and service is impeccable. The price is not as outrageous as other restaurants in the area and it is do much better! Can’t wait to come back!!

    Diego was outstanding in his service and hospitality. Blair the Managing agent was friendly and welcoming had real nice conversations and made our first night there welcoming. We will definitely return for the great food and drinks there.

    We went to On the Nines to celebrate my wife’s birthday based on recommendations from close friends and it did not disappoint. My wife has gluten and dairy allergies and it’s very hard for her to enjoy dining out. The chef provided us with personalized service and gladly accommodated my wife’s every special dietary need to perfection. The food is fresh and prepared to a standard that befitting of restaurants found in cities the likes of New York, Chicago, DC, and LA. Everyone on the staff is friendly, courteous, clean, and shows the utmost professionalism from the moment you walk through the door to the moment you walk out. We are lucky to have On the Nines in the Lake Norman area. If you haven’t tried it yet … go asap! If you have and you feel the same way I do, keep going and continue to support this wonderful place. If you didn’t have a similar experience to ours, I highly recommend you tell the Chef and Management about your experience and give them another chance to make it right because I can’t imagine that your experience was anything but an anomaly. Thank you for an amazing dining experience and for helping make my wife’s birthday that much more special!
