We do simple food the hard way, by hand-making almost everything. For us, eating well also means doing right by the local economy through sourcing most of our ingredients from close to home.

Our Chef honors and expands Midwestern food traditions through his kitchen at One Fifty One Kitchen | Bar, with a seasonal approach to menu creation. The menu is anchored by our chef's unique takes on rustic dishes, and is complemented by an extensive craft beer list, handmade cocktails, and a curated wine program highlighting a select group of our country’s best vintners.

Our service strives to be timely and graceful, allowing our customers to focus on what is important to them: enjoying great company over a fantastic meal.

    Beautiful decor, and food overall is very good. Margarita cocktail was fenomenal! However, it is very loud, not sure if the design and acoustics were intended to be so noisy?? It was hard to have a conversation….

    Shrimp was overcooked and “blackened” to them meant just some spicy paste smeared on afterwards. There was an overhead light beaming onto my face the whole time and the server, while friendly, was just scripted in her push for upselling. Felt so odd.

    Great experience. Very enjoyable. Good food and better service. It was hot in the room we were in by the front door. They said they turned the air on it down but it never really cooled off. Other than that all was well.

    We love 151 and hadn't been in for a while. We chose it for my son's 8th grade graduation dinner with friends (a group of 8) and were SO pleased. Our waitress was awesome! Warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and there were lots of new seasonal items on the menu. They didn't rush us AT ALL, which post-Covid was a welcome surprise. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will FOR SURE be back this summer!

    I have been here 3 times since February, this year. I took my mom, sister inlaw and my nephew, each for their birthdays. They all loved the service, atmosphere, food and bar service.

    This restaurant was a bit of a drive for our group but decided to try it out anyway. This restaurant did not disappoint. The food was great, service was awesome, very clean, very nicely decorated and drinks were good. Definitely will be back.

    I’ve been here before and it was great. Today was just “meh”. While the salmon was very tasty, it was maybe 2oz. Definitely not enough for a meal. Maybe it was just an off night and hope it’s better next time.

    Went on a Sun for brunch. Place was empty when our party of 5 (4 adults, 1 child) initially arrived, but more people gradually rolled in. The ambiance was super cool, especially for the burbs. Our server was solid as was the wait time. No issues whatsoever. The food, however, was just okay. Portions were good, but flavor was a little lacking - especially for the price. With a 20% tip, our bill was over $100 (no alcohol purchased btw). I'd def go back to try the lunch/dinner menu, or just grab drinks. But think brunch in particular may be a little better elsewhere.

    Staff very attentive and accommodating. I ordered the special pairing menu. Each dish was delicious, but overall they were each a little too rich - octopus on pureed beans, delicious risotto with rich and creamy aged parm. Needed a cleanser after that. Veal loin and reduction delicious but very rich with creamy chestnut sauce. Too much for one meal, just saying. Husband loved the buttermilk fried chicken! We hadn’t been there in a while and will definitely go back but need to balance richness with fresh farm to table flavors.
