One Fine Food
The food was very delicious and seasoned to perfection. The environment was very energetic and full of the amazing aroma of fresh food. Great place, definitely a place you should try out.
I have been to One Fine Foods a number of times and have invited different friends each time. They have all enjoyed the food and the restaurant.
Enjoyed our dinner very much! Salad was great, pizza as usual was perfect with a glass of wine and the Afogato dessert was yummy! The service was also delightful.
So good! House made ricotta was delicious! We ordered two pizzas, both were fantastic.
Turkey soup was ordinary, salmon bagel with boiled egg wasn’t great. Service was very slow. This is an expensive restaurant and did not live up to expectations.
Our meal was very good, unfortunately our server was rather rude. The other servers seemed more pleasant though. Would definitely try again in hopes of getting better service.
All the rules were out the window as there was a music concert nearby and everything was very busy. Had reservations and were seated promptly. Food was excellent. (Personal pizzas, salads and risottos). Took a long time after ordering to get our entrees but as stated above it was quite busy. When I asked the server how much longer before we got our food as we wanted to attend the concert she was very attuned and we had our food shortly after. Budgeted 1 1/2 hours before having to leave and were rushed at the end. Probably should have allowed more time. All in all a very pleasant experience. Would definetly go again and have recommended it to friends...
We always enjoy a meal at One Fine Food, and this one was no exception. Creative cuisine, well presented and a reasonably priced and well curated wine list-- our needs are met.
I really enjoy going for a meal at One Fine Foods. Then maybe pick up a dessert for later from their bakery section, and also to shop in their grocery section. They stock some nice specialty goods, such as coffee, olive oil, vinegars, spices, and many more. It's worth the time to go for a dining experience, and then have a browse around the bakery and grocery section.
Excellent service with great food. Price was a bit much but the wood fired pizzas were a pretty good value
Three of us ate lunch there on Friday. We all had the pizza with sausage and roasted red peppers. The toppings on the pizzas were undercooked while the bottom of the crusts were burnt. Too many red peppers overpowered the pizza. An expensive lunch. We won't be back.
We love the pizza and the pear salad. So fresh and good. We wish the lights could be dimmed so it wasn’t so bright. Great wine and Peroni on tap!
My first experience at this restaurant was brunch with my mom. The staff were very considerate and accommodating of our special mobility needs.
The food was delicious and the coffee robust...just what I had hoped for.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. They make the best pizza in the city. They use seasonal ingredients on their ever changing menu.
Absolutely fantastic and fresh food. Just what Peterborough was missing and in a very convenient location with ample parking. Perfect for a bite to eat after shopping or for a celebratory dinner with housemade gelato for dessert.
Lovely wood fired pizza oven available for my lunch mates, and tasty gluten free options availabel for me. Well informed and friendly server.
The only issue was that it took over 30 minutes to have our order taken. Other than that things were fine.
We attended for a family birthday. The food was great. The service was slow but friendly.
The food is dependably good. Service a bit slow last visit.
Terrible service. Restaurant was completely understaffed and was unable to keep up even though the tables were mainly empty. Waitress who finally greeted us after we stood in the entrance for 10 minutes was shockingly rude. We were basically told we could come or go as we saw fit but there were only two servers that evening and it would be slow. We were totally shocked and had to leave with our out of town guests and find another restaurant. Uncool.
Good service and solid menu, very quiet when we arrived by dining room filled quickly at 12:30pm. We will be back.
First time at 1 Fine Food.. great food and wine. Reasonable prices. An overall great dinner experience. I will definitely return!
concentrate more on presentation than the food
won't go back
Prices for dinner are reasonable, however the dinner portion is very small, so comparing dinner size to price: expensive. We had pasta. Complementary bread appetizer was nice. Salad and soup were average portion sizes. Food was very tasty. I will go back but will perhaps try their lunch for a cheaper rate I hope. Food was very fresh tasting.
Really Great Food,
Always enjoy their oven pizza options!
Always good fresh food. Great pizza. Amazing gnocci
My wife had pasta & it was sticky, my son had steak ordered med rare but came as med-well, the wait was 1/2hr. We were hungry and it was good but it's been better. Service was good. I had pizza and it was good but has been better. We'll be back.
The desert area had fruit flies so. That was out.
Excellent pizza and crust, high quality, flavourful ingredients.
Would like to see create your own pizza options, to personally eliminate ingredients I prefer to avoid.
Our first visit, but not our last.
We love One Fine Food and this visit did not disappoint. Fresh, locally sourced and creatively prepared and plated. Great addition to the Pebo dining scene.
House made Ricotta was out of this world! Very good value for money, pizza crust is fabulous. Will be back!
I love One Fine Food. The Restaurant is beautifully designed and the food is outstanding from its Pizza's to Brunch. It suits every occasion and there isn't anything on the menu that I wouldn't choose. It has a great deli and in house bakery too. Definitely my 'go to' place.
Nice relaxing meal.
Had another great meal. Fell in love with the fresh Ricotta with Pomodoro, smoked chilies and fried capers. Would have enjoyed more of the capers but I’m greedy. Wine had a tiny bit of cork taint, minute, not enough to ruin the experience. Pizza with asparagus and almonds was very good, a very cool flavour combination. Service was friendly, attentive and not intrusive. Dessert was ok, not to the level of the meal.
I had a great birthday meal. I am looking forward to going back.
Very good Italian food in Peterborough. We went for a family dinner and all of us enjoyed our meals. The Buffalo Mozzarella and Bucatini pasta were both very good. Good selection of wine and the Negroni was yummy!
We drove from Muskoka to dine here and shop at the gourmet market that's part of the complex. The food, as usual, was outstanding. We were very disappointed that Matt Choma is no longer part of the Team. He's a very creative and inspirational chef.
One Fine Food never disappoints! I love this place. It is always delicious and a fun experience.
They have the best pizza in Peterborough with fresh ingredients. Lots of options that change with the seasons. The house made ricotta is amazing. Great place for brunch, lunch or dinner.
We enjoyed our visit for my spouse's birthday. The soup and pizzas were very good. The wine list was interesting and priced accordingly. Having worked in the hospitality industry for 30 years, for me the service was adequate, but a bit on the "disinterested" side. We try to go to Italy every spring, as we just love it's culture and food. It's a little bit of Italy closer to home, we will visit again.
From a couple of 'old guys' who've been around...split pea/pork soup not extraordinary...Spaghetti sauce (on the spaghetti served with meatballs) needs to at least seem that it's 'fresh' made for that particular customer...at best it must have been a 'canned' sauce, if it wasn't then shame on you...the meat balls were good, five if my memory serves me, and worthy of a repeat (only if the sauce on the pasta improves).
