Excellent brunch! I had the vindaloo pork Benny (hot and spicy as I was warned, and quite delicious!) however it came with absolutely no sides of anything…some greens, or tomato, or a bit of fruit/yogurt to cut the heat would have been great accompaniments. Also had was the salmon Benny, and breakfast burrito and tacos. All had rave reviews!

I will be going back to this gem of a restaurant. Andy serves food so fresh and delicious and beautifully presented. Betty is welcoming and efficient. My new favourite place to eat.

I keep on coming back to this place because it NEVER disappoints! The food is some of the best food I’ve had in the Bow Valley and the service is impeccable! 10/10 experience every time!

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Banff. I am so glad we did. The food was spectacular and the service was great. I can't wait to return to try the dinner menu. I can't recommend them enough.

We had a wonderful evening with amazing food and service. Everything from the spicy Caesar’s , tasty appies , awesome entrees and dessert with house made ice cream were the best. Anand is an amazing chef and always has time to spend with his customers. We will certainly return, want to try the breakfast/brunch menu!

We’ve been meaning to try One98Eight and are so glad we did. The food was excellent. One person was running front and back of house, so we had to be patient, but it was all done with such great positive energy and service overall.

Great find! All the food was made in house, including the ketchup. It was all delicious! We had the masala toast, and short Benny. Our server was attentive and very friendly! You will not be disappointed! Hope to visit again someday.

Amazing food- such a diverse menu with all kinds of flavour profiles from East Indian fusion to Mexican to basic brunch fare. The most delicious lemon ricotta pancakes and pumpkin waffles!!!

A hidden, comfortable gem. Don’t let the modest exterior fool you — the chef can really cook! Small but interesting and smart, manageable menu offers something for all. Lots of great bling in Banff but don’t skip this spot!

I have been a fan of one98 since it opened. I believe it may have the best food in all the Bow Valley. This includes the Michelin Star rated restaurants.

Reservations are recommended as it's a small restaurant & the chef/owner is only able to accommodate so many tables. He made me a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon & lettuce & tomato, similar to a BLT. It was amazing! So was the squash soup. The food never fails here. It's one place we always eat at when we're in the area. ♥️

The best brunch menu I’ve ever seen, the food was amazing! Six of us had different meals and everyone was thrilled with their meal. The service, unfortunately, was awful. Really hard to get a coffee, then we’d get coffee but no cream or utensils etc., long waits before we’d see the waitress. Hopefully they sort it out because I will return for the food! Delicious!
