    Reservation seating was on time. We got the patio where I had requested. BUT, table was in direct sun and it was half through our meal before they got us umbrellas. Very uncomfortable. Staff did thier best, but physical resources were limited. Food was less quality in preparation and taste then 1 year ago. One order for a simple burger came out 20 minutes after the rest of our party of 8 had been served. We sent it back! Next we woukd use Orange County Mining Company. Too bad - Orange Hill for years was my premier choice place for family and business.

    It was a 8:30 reservation so much quieter. Service and ambiance was fantastic. We had a large party so sat inside. Great place for couples, get a seat on the deck for the amazing view.

    Steak was amazing, the view was amazing. The service needs so e improvement from the waiters, they are not very engaging with the guests. Not related, but kind of. When we told the front desk that the bathrooms were out of toilet paper, they said that they would get to it in ten minutes.

    Great overall experience and have been going for many years had some issue with the time of service, food was talking an unusually long time and felt like it did not come straight from the hot plate as it was lukewarm. Will be going back but hope it’s better.

    We went to celebrate our anniversary and informed them of this. We arrived and were seated. Our waitress was a no-show for most of the evening. 40 minutes after our apps were served, we noticed people who were seated after us were eating while we sat in our seats getting hungrier. We still could not find our waitress, and when we asked another server to find her, we got the manager. He hand delivered our steaks. Mine was over-cooked my wife had asked for her steak well done,but without the juices being cooked out of it. Both steaks arrived warm and hers had no moisture left in it. The manager apologized profusely and fixed our bill, but too little too late. We went to this restaurant to celebrate our first date, but instead we left hungry and angry.

    My husband and I went to Orange Hill Restaurant for our Anniversary, which I specified when booking. We were first seated in a very bright dining room which was very loud and not romantic at all. We asked to be moved to outside seating which is more romantic with a view. They seated us in the bar, so we could wait for our table outside. Our first round of drinks at the bar were great, the second round not so much. Once seated outside, my husband ordered another (New York Sour), which was made completely wrong. Unfortuantely we weren't able to tell the waitress because she only stopped by our table about every 20 minutes or more. The best part of our entire meal was the appetizer, we ordered the wagyu pink brick it was delicious. For my entree I ordered the crispy whole snapper, it was just ok. My husband ordered the Wagyu Zabbuto with a lobster tail, and caviar & black truffle twice-baked potato. The lobster and the twice-baked potato were delicious, but the Wagyu was tough. At the end of the meal the waitress came back to offer us dessert, we were not going to get dessert but decided on the keylime pie topped with fresh berries. When the dessert arrived there was a 1/2 strawberry on top. It was the worst keylime pie we had ever had. Shortly after the pie was dropped off with the check our waitress came back and said, "I heard it was your anniversary" and dropped off a complimentary dessert. The only thing this restaurant has going for them is the patio view. Needless to say we will not be back.

    "We experienced a delay in being seated at the table, despite having a prior reservation. I requested that the table be close to the fireplace, but we ended up sitting at a distant one. Later, the restaurant manager came and told me to wait, and we waited for another 10 minutes."

Your reservation was for a specific time and we tried to seat your party inside with no delay. It was at that time that you requested to be seated outside by the fireplace. We do our best to accommodate all requests but cannot always guarantee all requests. At that time, every fireplace table outside were all seated so we sat you at a table on the patio to attempt to limit your wait time. Once a party finished and left, we reset the table as quickly as possible to accommodate your request. We did all we could to create an enjoyable experience for you and apologize for any inconvenience this caused you.

    Our server was amazing when she was with us. Funny and charismatic. However, it seemed she was spread thin. She informed we'd have to wait for the "UNblackened" chicken ordered by one in our party. Then we were told that another's steak had to be redone as a piece of it had fallen off and so it was no longer a full portion. Service in the lounge was also rather inattentive. There were times in both places where we had to get up and get someone's attention or take care of something for ourselves or ask a fellow patron for assistance (getting silverware from another table, putting in a bar order, attempting to light a heat lantern, having a picture taken of our table). That being said, it was my first time and I will return.

    Great service, great atmosphere, service was a tad slow, but still good! ordered the 4 meat combo plate, excellent, with the exception that the rib eye portion was more fatty than meat. Overall a great experience. Is a must try

    This was my first visit to Orange Hill Restaurant. What a beautiful place! Great view, great food, great service. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and she could not be more happy. Thank you for a wonderful memory. We will be back!

    First time in OH restaurant. The view was amazing . Amber was super nice and the lady who showed us our table too. I ordered Wagyu Zabuton and the meat was chewy big time. The Spinach Dip was delicious. Over all we enjoyed the evening and definitely going back.

    Everything is good except parking. They only have Valet parking which cost $8.00 plus tip so y are looking at least 12-13 dollars per vehicle

    I hadn't been to The Orange Hill in over 20 years. I decided to try it again. The service was great. The drinks were good as well. Unfortunately, the restaurant looked in desperate need of an update. Nothing bad, it just looked very dated. I remember being able to go out onto the deck to enjoy a cocktail and take in the view or sit by the firepit. That's no longer an option as it is used for outdoor dining. All of the food we ordered was good up until the entree. I ordered the Islandic Salmon which was undercooked and rubbery.

    The food was very good and the service was good as well. My only issue is the restriction to two bottles of outside wine irregardless of party size, and we were eight. We will definitely return, but with a party no larger than four.

    The restaurant view is always amazing . The food was really good and fresh . I was sad to see that the building itself was in need of paint and refurbishing . However, it does appear they are starting some construction . The waiter was nice , but very busy .

    The place is under construction, so the entrance and lobby are not a picture-perfect scene. The wait staff was adequate... she was friendly but not as attentive as we've had in the past. The hostess could use a little more finesse with telling us that our reservation has been delayed 45 minutes.

    The chef needs to learn glad to cook a steak without destroying it. They messed up two of them. The waiter was great and took it off the bill but the steak was cooked wrong twice and stringy. The need to step this up I’ve been here 6 times and tonight was my first disappointment at that level. Hope it’s not a trend to where it’s going

    Fabulous, from start to finish. Our waiter, Paul, treated us like family. The view, ambiance, service, and food made for a memorable experience that will be be definitely repeating. My wife had the prime rib, and I had the smash burger with garlic fries, and wow! Dessert? Forget about it! Paul recommended the toffee pudding cake, and it was incredibly impressive!!
