Not being offered lunch menu on weekends. Ran out of brunch items by noon. Only 2 pasta options in brunch menu which is available until 5pm. Not many good vegetarian options

Waitress was nice but her service was horrible..very slow! She also never asked how the food was or if we needed anything at all! We had to ask the hostess(when she walked by) if we could get pepper! I saw other waiters and were much faster! ! I still like the restaurant and food!

At Oretta, you're essentially paying to be in a beautiful, trendy space. The food is fair, certainly not bad but also not the best Italian in the area. But better than many of the other trendy King West spots, and it is genuinely quite affordable. If you're the kind of person who prioritizes ambience/aesthetics/instagram over food (and once in a while there's nothing wrong with that), this is perfect. My only complaint is that they pack you in so tightly—presumably so they can keep their prices low—that the waitress bumped into my or my table every time she tried to serve the corner table to our right, which got annoying quickly. Not her fault as much as the design of the space, and it must suck for her too.

I had the truffle ravioli and honestly, it was quite good - I would have enjoyed a few more ravioli with my meal. The tiramisu martini was excellent! I would say that the service was okay, not bad but also not excellent. I made a reservation and arrived on time but still had to wait to be seated at the bar, and the staff was friendly but not overly accommodating. The ambience was nice, the music was a little much, and I found the individual bathroom stalls to be a bit poorly lit. It was good but I enjoyed my experience at brunch more than dinner here!

Our server - I wish I caught her name - was lovely and very responsive. The kind of service NYC typically offers but is more difficult to find in Toronto. Very happy with our brunch here. And the bloody Ceasar's were 5*.

We had a lovely time but the service was quite slow. I imagine the server was busy as there was a party upstairs but drinks were not served until we had been seated for half an hour and we waited quite awhile for the bill. I would return as they could have been understaffed that evening but with prices where they are at currently and tipping gone up I expect better service.

We had to ask our servers for the basics, ie a fork to eat with a serving utensil to actually get the food from the main serving to our individual plates. The service was really lacking this time. I was a little disappointed whereas my prior experiences were stellar. Not sure the next time i will be back from this is my absolute favourite go to spot.

Oretta has a stunning interior and the staff were very friendly during our time there. The restaurant was quite busy however and we found our service to be really slow. Also, mine and another party members food was cold when it arrived, and considering the price and portion size this was disappointing. At the end of our meal we were offered a dessert menu which we declined. After doing so we were asked to clear out in the next 15 minutes to make way for another reservation, and it was disappointing to feel rushed to leave when the service had been so slow. Like I mentioned the staff were all very courteous, especially when we had a last minute addition to our party, but there needs to be some changes in the number of staff on busy nights to ensure every patron has a positive experience.

Wonderful time back at this restaurant, it is very chic and very cool with high ceilings and very modern feel, the service is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious, always a wonderful time and happy that this terrific restaurant is so close to where we live.

Poor service and timing with meal deliveries. Half our party was finished eating while the other half had barely started. No resolution or proactive problem solving from the venue. Food was delicious thankfully and space is beautiful. Maybe our server was having a bad day…

Portions and taste was fantastic (we shared the Arancino and Pane Francese, my main meal was the Che Fame - everything on the plate was DELICIOUS!). The latte art was a nice touch that didn’t go unnoticed. We enjoyed brunch and the overall experience!

Our waitress Nancy was the best thing about the night, she was very good and attentive. Ambiance and decor also nice. All the apps were ok, rice balls better than ok, same with octopus. The majority of us had the lamb and steak and to be honest they were the worst cuts of meet I’ve ever had, they were cooked poorly, no flavour, came to the table cold. Looked like dog food. If you come here stick to pizza and pasta as those two options seemed to impress. I had a slice of the margarita pizza and it was very good. There are way better Italian restaurants, I doubt the owners / chef are in fact Italian. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. Was very disappointed last night.

My girlfriend and I were craving the sea bass so decided to go on a date here for the second time. We got the 3-Course meal which also offered the sea bass. Oretta never disappoints. Love the atmosphere and the food.
