   The overall ambience is amazing; however, there was a hickup in the taste of the wood; I ordered the Costoletto and it was awfully salty and maybe contained a lot of soy sauce; i couldn't digest it and drank at least 3 liters of water right after to compensate for the dehydration...

   Wonderful and thoroughly authentic menu from Campania, Italy. Food and wine pairings were wonderful. Service and staff were terrific. We will certainly return for more.

   I don’t remember our servers name but she was absolutely fantastic - a woman with freckles and glasses (sorry!!) she was so prepared with dairy free and gluten free options for my friend on her birthday. I was SO so impressed by her service and her commitment to our table. Absolutely fantastic. Food was fantastic and the lemon gelato was to die for! Loved the vibe.

   The server Justin was top notch and the pace of food was great. The suggestions he made were excellent and had a chuckle with us when I miraculously mispronounced things. I loved the pizza and the anchovies on toast were aces. The meatballs were okay, the whipped ricotta was the best part of that dish. Then the lemon tart was out of this world. Loved it all!

   Pizzas and veal bolognese were great. Service was somewhat lacking after initial orders were taken. Server disappeared and didn’t come back to check on us much unless we chased her down. Automatically adding a 18% gratuity to groups means she’s not motivated to keep up the service. One app arrived about 15 mins after the others so we were already finished that part of the meal once it arrived. Carbonara was incredibly salty and inedible, had to send it back. Loved the torta dessert. Mixed experience in a group with friends, a big disappointment compared to our previous experience as a couple with a friendly, knowledgeable male server. Not sure we’d recommend or go back.

    After finally seeing Hamilton with my boyfriend, parents, best friend and her husband, we all came here for dinner afterwards. Overall it was a lovely experience. The insalate mista was great and the burrata with figs and winter melon was lovely and fresh! The espresso martini was glorious as was the non-alcoholic amaretto sour (you couldn’t even tell!) I would say the pizza is better than the pasta, and the canolo (which is created table-side) is a delicious dessert! Made for a great night out 🙂

    I had been to Oretta in the past, and had a lovely experience. I enjoyed the service, the vibes and the food. This time around, it was not it. The service was still very good, but we were placed at the last table at the back of the restaurant (on the second floor) and there was no ambiance (that’s okay! No one’s fault there). The real bummer was the food. We were 2 out of the 4 people in our party to dislike our plates (we ordered the same thing). The dish was bland, no flavour or seasoning. The avocado/salmon dish came on a bun (which was not toasted - unlike stated on the menu), so the bun was already soggy midway through eating the mountain of arugula (that just tasted like salt). Some lemon, balsamic vinegar or capers could’ve made it all a bit more tasteful! :) also - the restaurant doesn’t have any hot sauce? Very surprising! But once again, the service was great, and our waiter removed the dish from our bill, which was really appreciated.

    We made a reservation and got seated upstairs alone when there were tables downstairs which would have been preferred. So that was not a great start but we were there to enjoy our time so we were going to make the best of it. Unfortunately a server didn’t come for 15 minutes, it took over 20 minutes just to get waters and half an hour for drinks. We left after our drinks and went somewhere else for brunch.

    An outstanding girls night out! We had a wonderful birthday dinner here thanks to our fantastic server, Nancy. She gave great recommendations for food and wine and went out of her way to make the night special for us. Despite the restaurant being full, our service was on point. We did not have to wait for anything…. The timing of food and drinks was perfect. Thank you for another great night!

    This was a beautiful date with my wife. We went for the chef’s experience which had 7 courses. Just finger licking good! We got a bottle of pinot, organic, and enjoyed a culinary selection that really had us dreaming about the next dish. Service was outstanding and the ambience was amazing.

    Nice and lively spot with good Italian food, friendly staff and good service. The 4-7 aperitivo menu is great for an after-work gathering with friends of colleagues. Couple of small issues: you don’t get fresh cutlery between courses (yikes) the waiter took the dirty cutlery and put it in the table before service the main course. Also, espresso arrived before dessert.

    arrived for a surprise birthday brunch with a group of friends and had the absolute pleasure to be served by leah. the food was incredible, and the bottomless mimosas were fantastic, but leah made the experience. in the words of my friends “we would all name our first borns leah — that was how incredible she was”— and i could not agree with it more. thanks again for the fantastic service, and the wonderful conversations!

    Let's start with the no-so-great - My friend ordered the "Pane tostato con avocado" (avocado toast). It was disappointing as it was one piece of toast with avocado and one hard-boiled egg on it. It was a nice-looking piece of toast, but for the $19 price tag, totally not worth it. This is, however, a nice place to have brunch! The ambiance is great, our server was amazing! She never skipped a beat when it came to refilling our mimosas. I had the "Salmone e Avocado". It was salmon on top of scrambled eggs on a bun and an arugula/fennel salad. It was tasty, the portions was perfect and totally hit the spot! We will definitely come back, but not for the avocado toast.

    I’ve been to Oretta a few times and really enjoyed it. This time around was ok, the service was very good but the food was really lacking. They definitely changed the menu since I had last been which is fine. We ordered 2 pizzas and they were good, we ordered the veal ricotta meat balls also very good. And then we each ordered pasta as our mains. My husband ordered the orecchiette and it was shell pasta, not a big deal but I ordered pesto spaghetti and I’m not even joking it looked like someone took a p**p on my plate. It was so unappetizing, flavour was really not good at all. I was more surprised at the fact that they let that plate out of the kitchen looking the way it did. It was really disappointing to say the least. Overall the service of the staff was good and the inside decor and ambience is really nice.

    Beautiful restaurant. Jonathan helped us and was amazing. So friendly, accommodating and professional. Food was delicious. The only issue was the polpette were served lukewarm even when we requested a new set. Perhaps this is the temperature they are meant to be, otherwise still very tasty.

    Decided to go to dinner spontaneously with a friend I haven’t seen in a long time. I’m glad we chose Oretta! The food was delicious, service was great (someone tended to us while our server was busy which was nice) and it wasn’t overwhelming with a crazy amount of noise, it was nice. I’ve been to this location once before in the summer a couple years ago but we were seated outside so it was nice to experience something a little different this time, both times were great!

    We enjoyed our visit to Oretta. It is a beautiful venue. The food was really yummy, all except the Arancini. We did not enjoy that and considering it was $16 for one that was disappointing. Everything else was great and tasty

    Our server was very attentive- food was alright , I’ve had better quality of food before at Oretta. There was a very loud party on the second floor that kept screaming and yelling every 30 seconds and it was very annoying as well the fire alarm going off for the first 15-25 minute was also very annoying. Overall not the best experience at oretta for me.

    I think the food was rushed in terms of being cook and made. salt and flavour was missing. Maybe it was because it was a busy time.

    My friend and I went here for dinner last night and were disappointed. The ambiance was very nice but our server was very rude and stand offish. We waited 20 mins to have our order taken and our appetizer came out 10 mins before our drinks. The appetizer was calamari and it tasted off. It made me feel instantly sick. The pasta portions were super small and the pasta was very undercooked. Really not worth the price. We noted it was my friends birthday on the reservation but got no desert. We saw lots of other tables get a desert with a sparkler. Really disappointing. Lastly; the bathrooms had no toilet paper and no one in site to let them know. Will not be back

    Service was good, food was ok. Was a bit disappointed with the bucatini alla carbonara. Was too salty and taste was ok. The pizzettta cardinale was good but the crust was a bit hard, polpette was good. The pappardelle alla bolognese was better than the carbonara. Noise level is loud.
