Osteria Giulia sprung to life in our imaginations as a tribute to Italian traditions of the past.

We wanted to create one simple, beautiful thing. Somewhere outside of your busy life, outside of your surroundings, outside of time. An environment, an experience, an entire evening.

Osteria Giulia is intimate, warm and familiar. We’ve reveled in her every detail. We’ve established a rarified menu focusing on Northern Italian cuisine and delicate coastal, Mediterranean flavour.

Giulia is a new imagining of what an Italian restaurant can be. It always was the place of our dreams, the reason for our collaboration, and the culmination of—and conduit for—our collective passion.

Osteria Giulia, chef Rob Rossi and restaurateur David Minicucci’s follow-up to Giulietta, builds on its sibling’s accolades. Rossi’s take on Ligurian-inspired dishes like hand-braided pasta with wild squid is equal parts fresh and refined and exudes the same understated elegance as the restaurant’s serene Yorkville dining room.

This restaurant was exceptional. The staff is welcoming and extremely professional. Our server made the experience remarkable. The decor had a very modern minimalistic feel to it. The food was amazing and flavourful. I would describe it as putting a modern twist on Italian food. I highly recommend this restaurent and will definitely return in the near future.

Incredible experience! We went for my parents 40th anniversary and the food and service were 11/10! They did everything to make it the most special evening! Will definitely be going back.

Food was decent but service was subpar given the Michelin star they kept advertising and price point. We did not feel welcomed at all when we entered the restaurant and especially with our server during the meal. The fact that guests have to order all the dishes in one go when they are seated is also unreasonable.

Food & service out of bounds! Fabulous setting, servers extremely knowledgeable. I would eat the flat breed and pasta everyday if I could.

As someone from Miami, In my opinion, the best meal in Toronto! Also the bartender made one of the best espresso martini I have ever had.
