   We got in without a wait. Food was decent. The Chilaquiles were very spicy. Too spicy to enjoy. The shrimp and grits were good. There was only one waiter, which slowed things down.

   Our server was awesome. The restaurant had a really nice vibe. Our cocktails were awesome as were the appetizers. The main dishes were good. Overall a good experience. I will definitely return!

    I’ve been to Otra Vez a handful of times. I always enjoy the environment; good music and aesthetically pleasing. The food is always so delicious. I’ve been for brunch, lunch time and dinner. Consistent food taste. The only thing that is consistently not great is service. The last few times I’ve been I’ve had the same server and she is not at all pleasant. From the initial greeting to the closing out, she never seems to want to be there. The first server I had was so nice but she’s never there anymore so she might not work there. The bartenders appear to be nice so maybe I will just sit at the bar next time.

    The place is beautiful and the food is pretty good. Service is not very good not because they do not try but because few of them running around. For this level of restaurant should have a more professional staff. Overall pleasant experience.

    We were seated by a very polite host for a 10am reservation, received water and was then ignored for over 30 minutes while tables around us received service. As a result of this, we left the restaurant.

    Great ambiance and wonderful friendly service from everyone! The food is excellent…. I was a bit disappointed they were out of mushrooms (so non meat options were limited) and I wish there was a less hot salsa option, but the salad, guacamole, chips were perfect. My husband said it was one of the best steaks he has had. We will definitely return.

    We ordered the mushroom quesadilla which was delicious, the shrimp tacos which exploded in my mouth (yum), and the fish tacos which melted in my mouth (also yum). The GM even came over to chat with us!

    Excellent upscale Mexican restaurant right around the corner from the Hyatt Regency. This was my 2nd time here, liked it so much I had to give them another try and they did not disappoint. Some of the food is on the pricier end like $13 bucks from two veggie tacos but everything is fresh and delicious. The drinks are on point as well. Highly recommend this restaurant!

    Our server was great and the restaurant is beautiful. But the food is over priced and not good. Had to send multiple dishes back to the kitchen. I ordered the Gulf fish plate which was supposed to come with plantains according to the menu. It came with fried bananas instead of plantains and no one let me know about the substitution prior to getting my meal. Bananas are not a substitute for plantains. To be fair the fish itself was cooked very well although it wasn’t seasoned. The tacos I ordered as a replacement meal were good but 15 dollars for 2 tacos and no sides is a rip off. I will not be returning.

    Our server was sweet and helpful and enthusiastic, and ready to admit when she didn't know the answer to our question. Very endearing! The room is sleek and cool, with an expansive bar. The food was fabulous, everything we ate. Get the carnitas tacos. You're welcome.

    I felt very rushed. The reservation was for 9. We were told the kitchen closes by 9:30 and the bar by 9:45. While the kitchen is one thing, we hadn’t even been asked for a drink order until 9:20 because service was lacking and only 3 tables. If you are going to take reservations until 9 keep the bar open until the table is finished. I definitely will not return as a late dinner

    We didn’t know who our server was. They got our drink order wrong, brought us the wrong appetizer and my order of the Roasted Mushroom Quesadilla was literally plain tortillas. When I received it back, it was thin tortillas with barely any mushrooms or cheese. $13 for little slivers of mushroom! The classic margarita was the only good thing.

    Mom and daughters brunch and our party grew at the last minute and Richard and Sean accommodated at the last minute. Everyone was friendly for and bottle service was perfect! Would definitely go back!
