    The food quality experienced at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic. Services was also good. Value for money . well it is poor far too expensive to be called value for money, pity as the food was unbelievable

    Cramped venue where waiters / patrons kept bumping onto me. Food was way over priced. The specials for the day was a heavily over priced Ragu pasta with minced meat that could be homemade with better taste. Worst for the last, the waiter who served us had either bad sense of humour or a very bad attitude, I found him very rude. When he came to the table I said “Hi” His response was “Don’t say hi, you need to order your food..” Another time he also told my partner, “don’t throw your hands around when you talk…” it was normal hand gesture people make when they talk! I also overheard him complain about something to the couple next to us.. Terrible attitude towards work. The waiter who served us didn’t even wait till the end to finish our dinner service, it was someone else who finished the service. This is extremely poor service from a restaurant who considers themselves high end. Would not recommend this place at all and certainly would not want to visit again.

    Once again food was delicious. All dishes are tasty and well presented. Service was not the greatest as one sever just started on the job and the other was a bit hard to understand. Still a great experience.

    We had a 12.30 reservation and from the minute we sat down the waitress was hurrying us along because of the ‘next sitting’. We were served our primi and were still eating when she asked if she could clear it to bring our mains because she was mindful of ‘the next sitting’, the same with our cocktails! The restaurant wasn’t even full so I don’t understand why she was hurrying us. 2.30pm came and guess what, the ‘next sitting’ never arrived. Also I’m sure my gluten-free pasta option was straight out of a Barilla box. Service, atmosphere and food utterly underwhelming for the price.

    It felt and seemed a little chaotic. I have been to Otto a few times, that was the worst experience. I was hoping to have multiple cocktails, but no one asked me for another drink and by the time someone did. I was ready to leave. It didn't look like Otto was understaffed, but just seemed all over the place. The clemitina was not how I remembered, the recipe has changed and was no as nice.

    This is a premium dining experience in a top class location. Excellent food - good wine list and on the whole pretty good service. Have been there several times. The only downside is the price premium. Happy to pay for quality ..... but still.

    Lively buzzy atmosphere and a great table by the water. We were initially greeted warmly then left waiting for drinks for way too long. We had the tasting menu which I was actually disappointed in, not enough pasta, mostly sashimi, and we swapped the wagu for a piece of fish which arrived thoroughly over-cooked and dried up. All in all a good dinner, but could have been improved by less wait time for initial drinks, and if I had chosen a pasta dish.

    Hi, I was disappointed as it was my birthday and they sat me at the back. I only booked it for the outdoor vibe. I couldn't see anything and I was right next to the toilets and the loudest group and could barely hear my mum speak. She is old and never goes out we wanted to have a nice outdoor lunch by the water. I have been on Job Keeper so it was a big deal to spend the amount we did for a special occasion. I probably wouldn't go back. Food was nice, staff were amazing. E

    Only good thing about Otto is the location. Shockingly over priced and very average food... Very slow service who seem overworked. $31 for 2 zucchini flowers, $57 for a small portion of under seasoned pasta with Morton Bay Bugs which was very plain and tasteless. Their special was a lobster pasta which one of our party got, very small, and average again and cost $105. They even gave us bread and charged us $39 for 6 slices of sourdough. Place is laughable. Save your money and go to any of the good restaurants along the water there. Could have went to china Doll twice for what we paid at OTTO for a very average at best lunch.

    Trading off a reputation that is not at all deserved. Probably the worst value meal I've had in Sydney. We were all very disappointed with the food and left in shock by the bill. Don't waste your money - your local Uber Eats would be better.

    We had reservations but our waitress was overwhelmed. one of us got the 7 course tasting menu but after 2 hours we had only 3 of the courses. We had her box the rest to take but it was clearly a waste of money for us. The sommelier was excellent and very helpful. I thought the food was good but our experience wasn't worth the cost. This was on a sunday night.

    Otto is very much a ‘special occasion’ dining experience given the prices. $35 for an entree of pasta and $17for a very small rocket salad is truly expensive. However for a birthday treat we had our credit cards duly charged and at the ready. The service is excellent, welcoming and easily some of the least fussy around but providing everything quickly and with always a smile. Food delicious and tables far enough apart so you don’t feel you are dining with others at their table. Also not being hustled out and having a truly leisurable meal made for one of our best dining experiences in a very long time. Sydney restaurants have become in most instances now, a very loud and quick experience that the concept of actually ‘dining put’ has almost disappeared and been replaced with ‘eating out’ an entirely different experience altogether. Hurrah for Otto who still want you to dine out as opposed to just eating out with them! Extra points too for still using tablecloths!

    It was really great for the family dinner occasion we had there but overall its pretty expensive so you will need to consider that if you are attending - its the only restaurant I can ever recall being charged for bread. Anyway - despite the cost the waiter was excellent!

    A great Christmas Eve dinner with family - we were seated outside on the terrace on a balmy night and had a fabulous meal along with great wines. Tasty seafood apps and scrumptious entrees were had by all. Highly recommend!

    Underwhelming. The service was excellent, the food very ordinary (honestly... one of us had the chicken that looked like a $12 pub schnitzel). The price outrageous for the overall experience. Way to loud and clangy. If you want fine dining at a high price, Otto doesn't come close. It's more like a trendy bistro, and should charge the prices to match.

    We have been to Otto before but have to say this by far was the worst meal we had anywhere in a long time. We were a party of 6 and all had pasta mains. Each dish was not as described on menu. tasteless and unappealing. We left feeling thirsty for hours after wondering if msg had been added to the food. The four guests could not believe I recommended this restaurant. So my husband and I left feeling embarrassed forking our the whole bill. You guys need to do significantly better if you are supposed to be the premium Italian restaurant. Not coming back!!

    Very disappointed that a simple request couldn't be fulfilled. It was a celebratory dinner and on booking I asked for a very simple request that wasn't delivered. Very disappointing. Food good. Service excellent but for a $500 bill for 3 people and a small ask to help make it more of a special occasion I probably won't return.

    It was a busy Friday lunch and our service was very slow to the point that I missed the salmon pasta special and my second choice ( pasta with pippies) was dead boring. No liquid- oil or sauce at all and it was just dry and unappetising. Our wine bottle was out of reach and we had empty glasses and needed to ask for refills when main was finished. Would not go back again, it was my husbands birthday lunch and it was disappointing.
