We went in April (5 of us) and we were so impressed. Everyone loved the Truffle fries and tuna tartare - they were done better than any other restaurant we have been to. The salmon entree was beautiful and so tasty, chicken sandwiches and bison burger were large portions, very tasty and all freshly made and presented well. The fries are the best ever!! Highly recommend going to this restaurant for fabulous food and a good price, nice scenery as well.

We had heard good things about the food here, so a group of us came. I think maybe our expectations were too high? It felt like a bar/restaurant you’d find in a small town. The service was VERY slow, from the drinks to the food. We waited close to an hour for the food. The server admitted she wasn’t used to doing a Saturday shift alone, and apologized, but there were only 4-5 tables of customers, so I wasn’t sure what the issue was. That said, the food was quite good!

Went for valentines dinner. When I booked the reservation there was no mention of a special menu. When we arrived this was the first time we were notified. Diner was ok but not worth what the cost was. We will probably try them again at some point to give a second chance.

My friend and I were really impressed with the brunch we experienced at Out of Bounds. Our server was so friendly and the food was fantastic. I wouldn’t be surprised if this becomes a hot spot through word of mouth! It’s definitely a place I would recommend to check out - I’ve already booked my next reservation for brunch!

It would be nice if you didn't put an ash tray right next to seats on the patio. A large group of people stood 3 feet from me smoking while I tried to eat and no one working there noticed our said anything to them so I'm assuming this is allowed.

Food took an hour to arrive. Two people ordered steak, one med rare and one med well. Both came well done. Med rare was sent back but the new steak was still medium well. Taste overall of the rest was good but definitely not up to par to what we had heard. Salads were excellent. Wait staff was very good.

I highly recommend Out of Bounds for lunch or dinner. Having eaten there many times I am never disappointed with the quality of the food. At busy times the service may take a little longer but there is always a smile and apology when getting your order.

Picked this for a blustery, rain shower Sunday evening dinner...had been wanting to try it for a year or more. Venue could best be described as a "sports bar", but the food was "haute cuisine!" The CW music was pervasive; and there were only about 8 people dining early like us. Some came in off the golf course, so casual attire...as expected. Blue Jays game was on for those who wanted to watch it. Cedar plank salmon was delightful; chocolate cake was SO good. Our server mentioned after the fact that the music could be turned down or switched, as could the TV channel...guess I should have been more bold. It's great to have good food close to St. Albert. We'll go back and sit outside when weather permits.

Golf course view restaurant. Very nice service and good food. When we went, they were out of the beef short ribs, which was a bummer because that's what we wanted to try. Instead we shared the mozzarella stuffed meatballs, ricotta and bruschetta, and the cedar smoked salmon with barley and pea risotto. All were very tasty. I found the risotto heavy on the barley. The bread with the bruschetta was tasty, but the large holes from the rising made it tough to hold the ricotta and bruschetta. We also had a martini and a beer. Bill was on the pricey side for what we got, but no complaints on the food taste. The music was good but a little loud for visiting with my father. All in all a good experience, and my husband and I will be back during our summer bike rides, but I don't think my dad is in any hurry to come back, lol. Thanks for a nice evening Out of Bounds. My dad had golfed for the last time here many years ago while my mom worked the beer cart for an event. It was nice to reminisce. Oh, since I am being a bit of a negative Nelly, the windows that look out to the golf course and pond need a wash. Gotta keep that view crystal clear!

We went there for some certain menu items we found on the menu through the OpenTable app as well as their website. Once we got there they were missing half of the items we were going for and the prices in restaurant were a lot higher (20% Average Higher). Luckily the food made up for this unexpected surprise 3 of 4 of our meals were excellent. The Poke Bowl and Short rib were incredible, the flank steak not so much. It was very tough and full of griddle. The manager/host promised a 10% off cheque but never ended up getting that either.
