We heard so much about the amazing smoked meats. We had the beef brisket dinner. The meat was extremely dry & chewy. Our friend got the smoked chicken wings. He gets them alot as a carry out. He sent his back. Burnt & dry. I would not go back or recommend this establishment.

I love Ovations. They accommodated 12 of us with no fuss. They then didn’t say a word when we all sat outside at their tables. We had come there from different areas of Florida and wanted to visit longer…no problem. We meet there often because everyone likes the food and the service. Thank you Ovations. Never change!!

My husband just moved down to Florida from Indiana. We went to Ovation Bistro for our 11th wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint. Our server was Tiffany. She was very pleasant and always had a smile on her face. We ordered the flatbread as an appetizer. We would have ate it all if we hadn’t already ordered our meal. It was delicious. I had the filet mignon and ribs. The filet melted in your mouth and the ribs fell off the bone. My husband had the brisket and chicken. The brisket, just fell apart it was so tender. It was amazing and he cleared his plate. My only complaint is that we were too full to have dessert, which would probably have been heavenly. Our bill was around $70 for the two of us. It’s a perfect place for date night. If you have the chance to go, I highly suggest it. We will be returning next date night. I would thoroughly recommend the Ovation Bistro and bar. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. The staff were knowledgable, friendly and offered great insight to the menu. The food was reasonably priced and I for one can recommend the ribs and the Key Lime Pie. We will be returning again for we head back to the U.K.

Tables were dirty and disorganized. Floors were dirty. Too many tables no room to walk without getting too close to someone’s table; Bathroom not cleaned, the entire place looked chaotic and no order. Food was okay but for the looks of the way chef and manager kept bathroom it was probably not as good as it seemed.

Way way too crowded, close, loud, chaotic. Couldn’t wait to get out. Food was delivered but no eating utensils. Had to ask and wait. First and only time to go here. We were meeting friends from Orlando. This place appears to be mainly for drunk obnoxious tourists. Maybe that’s what Davenport has become, sadly. Never again.

Great experience at this popular spot. I was worried that despite having “priority” seating that we would be waiting a while for a table for our crew of 9, especially since they were super busy, but the staff pulled out all the stops and made sure we were seated quickly. The food came out faster than expected and was all fantastic. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals immensely.

I made a mistake when paying the bill and they promptly took care of it! I very much appreciated how they handled my error!! Went to Ovation mostly because of great reviews. They did not lie. My wife had the 6 pc shrimp special. Shrimp were large and made just right. I had the imperial tilapia. Fish was tasty and tender, with crab, a couple shrimp, and a large scallop. We had the buy one get one house wine (Merlot and Chardonnay). Both were good. Our server, Susie, was one of the best we ever had. Not only was she good at what she does, she was easy to talk to and has a very upbeat personality.
